The girl nods and get ready for the game to start. First they do a tose and the boys teams are the first to pick. They choose batting first.
Rahul:"Okay everyone go on your postions please"(The teams stood in their positions. First person who came and did batting was Rohan and Shruti was bowling )
Ahana:"Common bhabhi just focus "
Shruti nods as she bowls. Rohan hits the bowl in the air as Ahana and Preeti run to catch it, but both fail. The boys cheer while the girl looks on with a sad face.
Preeti:"it's okay this is just the beginning "
They game continue for a while as Rohan makes runs before the girl take him out. Next Sid came for batting the the game went on. The kids also played while Ahana and Neil helped them respectively. After everyone from the boys team got out. It was the girls team to bat. They had a lot of runs to get to beat the boys team.
The girls Started to play and make points. One by one everyone had had their turn and now it was Ahana turn to bat. She was the last person left to bat on the girls team and they had to get 12 runs to win the game. If before that Ahana gets out then the game is over and the boys win.
Sid:"Ready bhabhi"(He said as he rubbed the bowl on his cloths before starting to bowl while Ahana stood there focusing on the ball.)
Sid hit the ball and as it came close Ahana swinged her bat. She closed her eyes as she felt the ball hit the bat. She opened it to see the ball high up in the sky close to making a 6 runs.
Shruti:"Ahana runnn"(She hears the girl telling her to run and she comes to her senses and runs across the field. Preeti who was running with Ahana run back and forth. They had made 4 runs by now as Neil got the ball.
Ahana:"One more.."
Preeti:"Neil bhai is coming Bhabhi "
Ahana:"Just run.."(They both ran across as Neil throws the ball at the wickit the back but just before it can hit the wickit, Ahana reached the point.)
The girls cheered while the boys whined at the close interaction. Neil smiled seeing Naira run to Ahana who picked her up and kissed her cheeks.
Sameer:"Chacks (Sid) they need only 2 more runs. Common do something "
Sid:"I know dude. Neil Bhai you bowl. You are the best at it"
Rohan:"Common Neil "(On the other hand Ahana also kept Naira down and came up on her place to bat.)
Naira:"Common Mumma"
Aryan/Ansh:"Papa you have to get mumma out"
Neil Starts to stand where he bowls from while Ahana sets her bat on the ground getting ready to hit the bowl. Neil moves back before throwing the ball. As the ball closes in, Ahana Swings her bat backwards before hitting the ball. Though this time the bowl was heading in the direction Neil was standing. She bites her lips hoping he doesn't catches the ball and looks up to see Neil running back trying to catch the ball. The ball closes in and lands on Neil hand for a sec before for some reason his grip lightens and the ball rolls of his hands falling down behind him.
The girls yells in excitment of them winning while the boys whines at this site. The girls run to Ahana hugging her while Ahana keeps on looking at Neil who smiles look at her before walking back the field.
Rahul:"So as the girls won, boys don't forget your side of the bet"
Preeti:"So Mr. Siddharth Malhotra ready to do what I say"
Sid:"Yeah yeah go one"
Angali:"Okay girls think about this later, For now let's hid inside it's getting a lot colder "
Ahana:"Your right maa. Ansh Aryan Naira common head inside. Sameer Ryan you too..common "(Everyone headed in and changed into better warms clothes. Everyone was in there own rooms.)
Ahana and Neil's bedroom
Neil was seated on the sofa working on his laptop while Ahana was just going through the pile of clothes stuffed in the closet when she saw a Photo fell out.
Ahana picked up the photo and smiled looking at it. it was a picture of a baby dressed up as a girl. Ahana smiled thinking how cute Aryan looked in this picture. Seeing her smile at a photo Neil got curious and stood up and came towards her.
Neil:"What are u smiling at?"
Ahana:(Showing him the picture )"Aryan looks so cute here"(She smiled )
Neil:(Looking awkwardly )"Where where did u get this pic..give it to me. this is not cute"
Ahana:(confused )"Why Neil. it's so cute. "
Neil:"No its embarrassing..I...he..he will be embarrassed in the future "
Ahana:"One min is this your picture ?"(Neil's eyes widen as Ahana turns to the back of the photo to see a date of 1991.)"This is ur picture "
Neil:"Ahana give that back to me"(He said trying to snatch the picture but Ahana run to the other side of the room)
Ahana:(Laughing)"Omg Neil this is your picture...Its so cute"
Neil:(Turning red due to embarrassment )"Noo its not"
He ran after her but she ran past him into the corridor while he followed.
Neil:"Ahana come back here and give me my picture back"
Ahana:"No chance. If you want it then come get it yourself "(She said as she ran by the room to the pool area.)
Neil ran behind her and was almost able to catch her when she took a turn unexpected to him. Neil Signed and run after her. They were chasing each other as tom and jerry. Giggles and laughter was filled in the pool area.
Ahana:(Tired of running )"Neil pause ..pause "
Neil:"No pause..give me my picture back"
Ahana:"Okay. Right after I take a picture of it on my phone "(She said as she started to run back to her room but Neil caught her and picked her up in his arms in a bridal way)"Neillll"
Neil:"Now you have 2 options. Either you give me my photo back or I throw you in the pool"
Ahana:"You wouldn't do that"
Neil:(Shrugs )"Try me"(He gave her a small smirk )
Ahana:"No I am not going to give u the photo"
Neil:"Okay"(He swings her towards the pool)
Ahana:"Okay okay stop stop I'll do it.."
Neil:(Bring her back in as she clutched into him)"Okay now give me my photo "
Ahana:"Put me down first. Both you hands are holding me how will u take the photo"
Neil:(Looking at her suspiciously )"No funny business "(Ahana nodded with a innocent face)
Neil makes Ahana stand in front of her while he shows his hands out towards her and eyes her to put the photo in his hands. She nods and lifts the photo and slowly brings it to his hands. right before he could take it from her she turns around and pushes him in the water. While on the other hand as Neil startes to fall in the water he grabs onto Ahana causing her to fall with him while the photo slips of her hands and land on the surface near the pool. They stand up in the pull fully drenched in water.
Ahana:(Splashing him with water)"Are u crazy.. "
Neil:(Blocking the water with his hands)"You pushed me first "
Ahana:"Neil I am fully drenched "
Neil:"So am I.. "
Ahana:(Looking at him frustratedly )"oh your so done"(She said as she splashed him with water while he did the same)
They both stopped suddenly hearing a laughter in the background. They turn to see the whole family laughing looking at them. Both look down awkwardly realizing what they just did.
Ansh:"Mumma Papa you guys fight like kids"(Laughs)
Neil/Ahana:(Pointing at each other)"It's her/his fault"
Neil/Ahana :(Looking at each other shocked) "MY FAULT!"
