She had succeeded. She had succeeded in creating a place in Aryan's heart. That very moment she promised herself to never let these kids down. Aryan was trusting her and she knew never to break that. She knew that for a kid to accept a total stranger as his or her parent is hard and its more hard when you have memories of ur real parent. But Aryan had given her a chance and she wasn't gonna let it go in waste. She hugged the kids tightly kissing each of their forehead. All this while Neil looked at them with adoration. This is what he wanted his kids to get a mothers love and for them to be happy.
Naira:"Papa you also come na"(Neil and Ahana look at each other. Before Neil can answer Ansh and Naira pull him into the hug.)
Ahana and Neil look at each other as the kids hug them tight. They look at the kids and a smile appears on their face. Unknown to them these moments were being captured by Sid.
The engagement ceremony soon came to an end. Though the kids were sad but all headed to there respective homes. Ahana was alone in her room looking at her ring on her ring finger. She wondered what life had stored for her. Why all these things were happening in her life. As she was lost in her thoughts Ansh enters the room.
Ansh:"Mumma can I sleep with you"
Ahana:"yes baby come here."
Ahana makes Ansh sleep and soon she herself falls asleep. 2 days pass in a jiff. Today was the mehendi rasam. Mehendi is a ritual in which the bride and other ladies of the house apply henna also known as Mehendi in India.
Ahana was sitting on the decorated booth area while the henna artist was applying mehendi. The kids were running around playing while other were buzy among themselves enjoying the function.
Prabha:(Seeing Ahana)"Now all I want is for this wedding to happen without any problem and for my child to have a happy life. She has already lost so much"
Sanjeev:"Prabha dont u think we should tell Ahana the truth before she is married "
Prabha:"No... we can't. You already know how broken she is after she got to know rajeev is dead. And now if we tell her this truth she will be broken to a point where no one can bring her back. All I want is to get the old Ahana back. The bubbly carefree Ahana."
Sanjeev:"You are right. I don't know how she will react after knowing the truth"
Meanwhile...
Artist:"Maam whose name should I put in your design "
Ahana:"huh?"
Artist:"The groom's Name maam"
Preeti:(coming towards them)"Put N For Neil"(She said with a smile as she turns to Ahana )" Bhabhi are you hungry? Should I get something for you."
Ahana:"No I am fine just check on the kids. I dont think they have eaten anything yet"
Preeti:"Don't worry bhabhi. Shruti Bhabhi and I have already fed them. They are playing in the room now. Sameer and Ryan are with them"
Ahana:"Sameer and Ryan?"
Preeti:"oh you didn't met them right? They are Shruti bhabhi's kids. They weren't in the engagement before due to school but they will attend all other functions "
Ahana:"oh okay. Ah preeti can u get me some juice "
Preeti:"Sure Bhabhi one min"(Preeti goes in the kitchen to get some juice only to be stopped by Sid)
Sid:"Jaan listen "
Preeti:"Sid not now. I have to give this juice to bhabhi"
Sid:"No no listen to me first. Why don't you let Neil Bhaiya give the juice to bhabhi it will be more Romantic right"(He said winking)
Preeti:"What's cooking in you brain Mr. Sidharth Malhotra "
Sid:"Listen"(He said whispering a plan in preeti's ears to which she nods)"Now just go give the juice to Bhaiya and the rest I will handle "
Following Sid's plan, Preeti heads towards Neil who was standing with some guest.
Preeti:"Bhaiya can you come with me for a moment I need you help"
Neil:(To the guest)"Excuse me"(Preeti takes Neil to Ahana who was sitting there waiting for her henna to dry)
Preeti:"Bhaiya can you plz help Bhabhi drink this juice "(She said handing over the juice to him)"I have to go help Shruti Bhabhi "(Saying this she left)
Ahana:"but Preeti...(turning to Neil who was looking at the juice in his hand)"You dont have to worry. Just leave it here I'll ask someone else to help me or I'll drink it later "( before Neil could reply they kids came towards them )
Kids:"Mumma mumma"
Ansh:"Wow mumma your hands look so beautiful "
Naira:"Mumma I also want that"
Aryan:"Mumma aren't you uncomfortable "
Ahana:"So many questions. So no I am not not uncomfortable. And yes Naira ask Bhabhi she can put it on you but only little. And Ansh thank you"
Sameer:"Hi Chachi I am Sameer "
Ryan:"And I am Ryan "
Ahana:"Hii"
Sameer:"Oh Chachu why are you holding the juice. It's for Chachi only right. Then make her drink it. See she can't do it by herself "
Ansh:"Yes papa mumma must be thirsty na"
Naira:"common papa help mumma drink the juice na"
Aryan:"Yes papa"
Ahana:"Oh nono I am fine and there is no need.."(Before she can complete Neil had already bend down in front of her)
Neil forwards the glass of juice towards her and signals her to drink. Without arguing She slowly drinks the juice but their eyelock was not broke. The kids look in the corner direction and show thumbs up to sid who was standing there smiling. Other who were watching this scenario was in awww as well.
While drinking Ahana suddenly started to cough. Neil in a rush hand the juice to sameer as he rubs her back soothing her.
Ansh:"mumma ur fine na"(Ahana nods)
With the help of Neil, Ahana finishes the left over juice. The kids clap breaking the eyelock between Neil and Ahana. Ahana smile at the kids and lifts her hands to wife her mouth but stops seeing the mehendi In her hand.
Ahana:"Ansh baby can you wipe mumma mouth real quick"
Ansh:"yes"(And he wipes her mouth)
Prabha:(coming to them)"Ahana common I'll take you upstairs to rest a little. "
Ansh:"Papa I wanna eat ice cream "
Neil:(picking up Ansh in his arms )"ice cream? At this time?"
Kids:"Yes papa plzz"
Ryan:"Chachu I also want to eat let go na plz"
Neil:"Okay okay. Sameer Ryan take the kids to the car. I'll inform Dad then we can go"
Kids:"Okayyy"
