Chapter 16 -Busted-

Before the night ended, Knives manage to negotiate to Grisha's group putting aside Nadia's anger for Aiko, in short they manage to recruit the three of them.
Now they have more people to do the job to recruit and buy a land for their sect building.
And as why they are in the prince manor, Knives didn't question just ask them for their loyalty and naturally they'll receive the money she promised.
"Mistress, His Highness orders you to go to his study" a maid politely said.
Knives can't help but raise a brow, what does that pervert need?
"Ok.... You're dismissed" Knives lazily replied, while Aiko hurriedly take out some proper dresses to pamper up her mistress.
"No need, just give me the blue robe and a ribbon" Its very visible that Knives is just too lazy to dress up.
With no make up and proper dress Knives walk out of the room with only a white t-shirt (improvised) and grey pants (improvised) with blue robe (or should I call it coat?) on while her hair is on a high ponytail.
Now she look like a rogue or perhaps an Englishman.
When the servants saw her attire they almost vomited blood
Is mistress too shameless?!
She really is courting death ah!!
Why is mistress dressed in an Englishman clothing?
Where did her etiquette fly!?
And many others thought came across their minds
They announced her arrival very hesitant, they just couldn't believe it!
"We're goi----... Why are you dressed like that!?" Xin in disguise suddenly exploded.
"The dresses are too uncomfortable, elegant, and... Heavy. Its just too tiring" Knives lazily make her self comfortable in a chair without any grace in it.
"Leave us!!!" Xin ordered.
The servants flee not wanting to be the vent of their master's anger.
When the servants are all gone Knives glance up, "Done staring? Perverted Prince!"
Then a shadow came down and it revealed the true prince.
He has a playful smile in his lips completely amused to his little wife's action.
"It suits you little wife" his smile grew wide, "I can't understand the both of you!!" Xin exclaimed while taking off his mask.
"Why am I here?" Knives ask while resting her chin on her palm.
"There would be a banquet for the Empress Dowager's birthday... And I as a Duke and a Crown Prince of Feng empire is invited, so naturally your invited too as my main wife" Jin explained still had this playful aura.
Not looking to him Knives ask, "When is it? Can't your other concubines accompany you? Too tiring *yawn" the Duke's face instantly darken and Xin can't help but take a step back.
"Take this matter seriously! As your husband you have to follow my orders!" This made Knives look up to him.
She didn't know why is the duke shouting with no specific reason.
"You're going out without my permission every night I didn't know if you're with other man pleasuring your self and I didn't scold you about that! And now that my only request is that you will just accompany me on the banquet YOU REFUSE!!"
Is that an emotion? Which one is it? Sadness, Happiness, Despair... Which one is it? Knives eyebrow knitted not knowing which emotion is the duke displaying right now.
"What emotion are you displaying Prince?" She questioned not bothered to the fact that he knows that she's sneaking out of the manor every night.
This made the Prince expression soften.
She's confused? She's really unpredictable emotionless wife...
He walk toward her and immediately hugged her.
He gesture his hands telling Xin to leave.
Like a stone Knives froze on the spot not knowing why did the prince suddenly hugged her.
"I'm angry, jealous, worried, and sad..." He gently said while caressing Knives hair.
"Why is that?" Knives questioned still confused.
"I'm angry because you sneak out of the manor every night, jealous because I don't know if you had a lover inside your heart, worried because you might get hurt, and sad because you didn't see me as your husband... In simple term I felt this way because I cherish you" the prince calmly explained face Knives.
When Knives saw his eyes and little by little understand his words she didn't understand why her heart is beating in a rapid speed.

Sorry for the cheesy romance, to be honest I don't know how to write romantic scenes but I did my best to write this romantic scene so... If its too cheesy I'm sorry.
