A/N: Okay first I wanted to say thank you for reading my book! I have almost 200 reads and I'm really thankful. I kinda didn't expect anyone to read it but I'm glad you are. Sorry I didn't update sooner. There was a glitch and I lost all my drafts but they came back. I hope you enjoy this chapter and thank you so much for being patient and reading!❤❤❤

"Ugh, fuck you too." I mumbled as I slammed my alarm clock with my hand and rolled out of bed.

I didn't want to go to school today... Or any day for that matter.

I trudged to the bathroom and took a long hot shower... and used all the hot water. Oops.

Once I got out, I got dressed into a white t-shirt, light jeans, and black vans.

I would've eaten cereal, but I had to leave. Ugh... School was cutting too much into my eating time.

I walked out the door and into my beautiful, precious, gem of a car. It was a black Chrome CTS-V Sedan. I was so mesmerized by the car that I got for my 17th birthday that I didn't see someone walking behind me. They bumped into me and fell on the floor. I turned around and saw that it was none other than Hazel Ambrielle.

I couldn't help but laugh. "Are you okay?" I asked as I helped her up.

"Yeah, but I didn't see you there. You scared the waffles out of me!" Her eyes were as wide as a deer caught in headlights.

I was a little amused at that. "I scared the waffles out of you?" I threw my head back and laughed.

"Shut up." She mumbled. Aw, how cute... Not in that way. More like in a weird way.

"Need a ride?" I asked just like the other day. Ha! Her face when I left her was priceless! I did feel a little bad about it, but there was no harm done, really. She was going to walk anyways.

"Just so you can leave me again? No thanks." she started walking again but I grabbed her wrist.

"What if I let you get in the car first? Just to show I'm not gonna leave you this time." I wiggled my eyebrows at her. This could've been me making it up to her. Eh, I guess I was feeling extra nice today.

"Fine. But only because my little brother already left and I don't want to walk alone." She got into the passenger seat and I got into the driver's side.

"So....What made you want to give me a ride?" She turned to me with a spark of curiosity in her eyes as we started to move down the road.

"I don't know. It was pretty convenient." I gave her a side glance.

"In what way?" Hmm.... I didn't want to admit I felt a bit bad about last time.

"You needed a ride and I needed someone to annoy." I smirked at her and she just shook her head as she tried to hold in a laugh but failed.

I turned up the radio and a random song came on.

"Oh my gosh, I love this song!" Hazel jumped in her seat and smiled brightly. For some reason, that made me smile.

"What song is this? I feel like I've heard it." I asked. Don't get me wrong, it was a good song. I was just into other stuff.

"It's 'Sugar We're Going Down' by Fall Out Boy." She started singing along to it and dancing around. I rolled my eyes and grinned as I turned my eyes back on the road.

"Oh I remember hearing that song. I like it. What type of music do you listen to?" I asked.

"Um...I love listening to things like Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, Dodie, Conan Gray, Cavetown... Stuff like that." Hmm. She had a good taste in music.

"Oh they're all cool. I like stuff like Pixies, Nirvana, Radiohead, Queen. All that stuff." I shrugged.

"Wow. You have a really classic music taste! That's so cool." She stared at me for a while and I glanced at her, but I mostly had to keep my eyes on the road.

"Why are you staring at me?" I raised my eyebrow and looked at her out of the corner of my eye.

"I wasn't staring. Just...observing." She always seemed to be observing me.

"So staring. Got it." I smirked and looked over at the road as her cheeks heated up.

We arrived at school and I parked in my usual spot. Hazel and I walked to the front of the school together, and as we were about to go our separate ways, the idiots had to come in.

"Ooh, does Asher have a girlfriend?" My best friend Liam asked as he poked at my ribs. I swatted his hands away and glared at him.

"If you mean her," I said pointing at Hazel,"then you're really fucking around with me." Okay that was way harsher than I meant for it to sound.

I looked over at her with a glare but my eyes softened a little when I saw her reaction to what I said. She was looking down, clicking her feet together. Okay I kinda felt bad.

My friend Connor brought my attention back to the four boys in front of me. "Well she wouldn't be the first girl you got with. Would she?" I only had a few girlfriends in the past. Not that bad!... Okay so maybe I had a bit of a past of girlfriends and hookups... Okay a big past.

But I didn't want Hazel to be hearing all of this. I mean, not that I cared what she thought. It was just weird to know about a stranger's love life. Or, in this case: lust life.

"Oh, come on guys. Leave him alone." Ian said. He was only a sophmore while the rest of us were juniors, but he was really cool. So we took him under our wing and he turned out to be the most responsible out of us.

"What? It's fun to mess with him." Eli punched my arm and laughed.

"Shut up." I mumbled.

"Well, my name is Ian." He said turning to Hazel.

"Eli." He nodded his head at her.

"Hey, I'm Connor." He smiled and waved.

"I'm Liam."

"So, what's your name madam?" Liam asked as he grabbed her hand and held it to his face. Ugh. That was so annoying. He did that with so many girls, no need to use it again.

"Uh...My-my name's...Hazel." She stuttered out, a tint of red on her cheeks. Oh please, he was such a player, he would drop her in three days.

"Pretty name for a pretty girl." Liam grinned at her. Ugh that shit got on my nerves for some reason. Did he have to do that with every girl he lay his eyes on?!

I cleared my throat. "Uh, what do you guys want anyways?"

"We wanted to see if you were coming to practice today." Connor answered.

"Yeah, I'm going." I clarified.

"Hey, why don't you come too, Hazel?" Conner asked.

"Um, I don't want to be a bother..." She smiled at us and laughed lightly.

"No, it's fine. You can watch us." Ian suggested. Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt.

"Okay. What is it exactly that you're practicing for?" She looked at us.

"We're bmx riders." I told her. Maybe it would be cool if she went. The more the merrier, right?

"Oh that's cool! My brother, Cameron used to do that when he was in high school." She smiled brightly and rocked on her heels.

"Oh you have a brother? That's cool." Ian said.

"Well actually, I have six brothers. But they're cool."

"What the fuck? Six brothers? Wow." Connor whistled. "Your mom must be getting it from your dad then, huh?"

I punched his arm and glared at him. That was such an inappropriate joke. Though, she does have a lot of brothers. I looked over at Hazel and she was staring at the floor. She looked kinda sad and stayed quiet.

I remembered the other night when at the mention of her dad, her brothers looked angry, her mom kind of panicked, and Hazel looked sad. Maybe something happened... Sure, I was a bit cold, but I wasn't heartless.

"Shut the fuck up Connor. Your jokes are even lamer than your life." I shot back in a harsh tone.

He shot his hands up defensively as him and the other boys laughed.

The bell rang.

"Bye." The boys all said.

"See you at practice."

I turned to Hazel. "Bye. I'll meet you at my house later and take you to our practice?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure. Bye." She said quickly and walked away. I wonder what made her upset...

A/N: Helloooo... This chapter wasn't really much. It was more of an insight on Asher's life and point of view. You also finally got to meet the bad boys and Ian the soft boy. Hehe, he's adorable. Next chapter you'll get to see the bmx practice. I hope you liked the chapter. Please vote and keep reading! Thanks, bye lovelies!!!❤❤❤
