âA b*stard like Esther should die like that wh*re Faye!
âNo! She should give her heart to Liliane before that!â
Bradley took Lilianeâs heart report and went to see Scott from the hospital under the Warner Group.
âMr. Warner,â greeted Scott.
Bradley pushed Lilianeâs medical record to the front directly and asked Scott calmly, âTake a look at this medical record. Can it be treated?â
âLet me take a look.â Scott carefully examined the case file and said in a gentle voice, âBased. solely on this medical record, I believe a heart transplant is the best and most direct treatment option. However, itâs widely known that the chances of a successful heart transplant are very low because not all hearts are compatible, and each person only has one heart.â
âStudy the report. Iâll arrange an appointment for you to meet the patient,â said Bradley.
Scott glanced at the signature on the medical report and said warmly, âMr. Warner, Dr. Birch mentioned here is my senior. Iâll contact him.â
âIs Dr. Birch the one who asked you to examine Estherâs heart last time?â asked Bradley.
His memory was exceptional, and he recalled it as soon as Scott mentioned it.
âYes,â Scott assured him. âBut he might have been inclined to take unconventional measures upon hearing that your wife was in a comatose state. Rest assured. I can vouch for my seniorâs character.
He wouldnât do anything to disregard human life.â
âGive me a treatment plan as soon as possible,â said Bradley.
Scott nodded. âCertainly.â
Lilianeâs health condition meant that she was no longer suitable to take care of Felix, and Clark would not have time either since he wanted to investigate the case from five years ago. Meanwhile, Felixâs relationship with Esther had become exceptionally close due to the bone marrow transplant.
After consulting Felixâs attending physician, Bradley decided to let Felix live with Esther temporarily.
On the one hand, Felix had no one to take care of him. On the other hand, if Felixâs presence. could console Esther in her grief over losing her daughter, it would be a good thing.
Considering that Felix had been recovering well and no longer needed intravenous therapy but only medication on schedule, Bradley packed up some of Felixâs belongings in the hospital and personally delivered them to Primus Mansion.
Esther and Felix had just woken up from their afternoon nap in the mansion. The two of them were snuggled up, watching a documentary and eating fruits.
As soon as Felix heard Bradleyâs footsteps, he joyfully called out. âDaddy!â
When Bradley entered the living room, he saw the two of them cuddling together. They were sitting on a lavish and comfortable rug and leaning against a giant panda on either side. Various snacks were on the round marble coffee table in front of them.
Just by looking at this scene, it was evident that they were content and happy.
âDarling, what did you bring with you?â Esther asked curiously, seeing that Bradley had several suitcases.
Bradley cleared his throat, feeling slightly uncomfortable, and said, âThese are Felixâs things.â
Felix blinked his beady eyes excitedly and asked in a sweet and clingy voice, âDaddy, will I be living with Mommy from now on?â
âYes,â Bradley replied calmly.
Felix happily pounced on Bradley and tightly hugged his long leg. He said sweetly and affectionately, âDaddy, I love you the most!â
Esther glanced at the suitcases and asked with anticipation, âAnd⦠what about you?â
