Violetâs point of view-
This morning I woke up strangely comfortable, I was warm, like I had a hundred fluffy clouds on me, I was going to go back to sleep when my eyes snapped open as I recalled yesterdayâs events.
I sat up and looked at my surroundings, this room had navy blue walls, white furniture, a flat screen hanging off the wall in front of the bed, a sofa and coffee table near it, there was a sort of book case under the TV filled with what I think are books, movies, games, and cdâs.it had a stereo right in the middle of it all, along with a game system. There were two doors on the left and another one on the right. This bed was huge; the comforter was the same color as the walls.
I noticed that my hand was all healed and I sighed, letting the barrier I had around me disappear and felt as the real battle scars and proof of my abduction from the hunters sizzled on my skin, but Iâm glad they donât hurt, there just there to be there and if they do I donât feel them, Iâve been taught that a few battle scars isnât anything, Iâd live. I felt myself weaken a little⦠my magic was wearing down⦠I just need a little blo-I jumped when I felt two strong, very muscular arms wrap around me. I looked over and watched as my mate snuggled into my neck, I wanted to giggle but stopped myself.
âGood morning beautiful,â he said in a sexy husky, morning voice. I wish I could say something to him, but I couldnât, at least not before I fixed itâ¦
I stared at him, finally being able to study his features, strong jaw, bright grey eyes, light brown hair, the perfect lipsâ¦my eyes trailed down and I stared at his defined abs. that eight pack was making me feel things Iâm not used toâ¦
I looked back up at him and gently touched his face; I smiled a little as I felt him lean into my touch. I suddenly remembered who was after meâ¦.
The rougesâ¦
The huntersâ¦
The royal kingdomâ¦
I jumped up from the bed, ignoring how I caught my mate off guard.
âAre you alright?â he asked as he got up with a look of concern on written on his face.
I blushed looking down, I gasped as I noticed I was wearing a guyâs shirt and boxers.
âDonât worry theyâre mine,â my mate quickly said and I slightly relaxed.
âCan you talk?â he asked.
I shook my head and tears came to my eyes as I remembered when I was captured and was forced to drink melted silver and wolfs bane mixed together. I canât believe Iâm even alive after that excruciating pain.
âNo, no its ok, donât cry,â my mate said as he hugged me tightly.
âWell Iâm William,â he said out of nowhere, I feel like he was trying to distract me and it was working I guess. I looked at him, Williamâ¦hmm the name suits him.
âCan you give me a hint of what your name is?â he asked when he pulled away making my wolf whine, but I shut her up quickly.
I pointed to my eyes, âPurple?â he asked and I shook my head.
âViolet?â I nodded. âViolet,â he whispered as he touched my cheek. I was about to lean into his touch when he whispered, âmy Violet.â I snapped out of my dream and came back to reality. I need to leave, I need to get away! Those people are after me, I need to leave!
âNo, no Iâm sorry, please,â William pleaded I looked at him confused.
Before anything else could be done, my stomach growled and I blushed while William chuckled and I glared at him.
âWould you like some breakfast?â he asked and being the stubborn person I am, I shook my head.
âStop being stubborn,â he said as he grabbed my arm and led us out of the room and down a whole bunch of halls before going down a stairwell and heading into the kitchen.
He got straight to work on making something to eat while I sat down and looked around. Why was the house so empty?
âThe pack went to school and work, so we have the whole house to ourselves,â William said as he put a plate of pancakes, eggs and bacon in front of me after a few minutes. Wow that was fast.
On the first bite I moaned, I devoured the whole plate in seconds, I havenât eaten in who knows how long and I was starving, when I was full I burped and blushed as I noticed William looking at me in shock.
âIs it weird Iâm even more attracted to you?â he said in awe. I blushed furiously and looked at my lap.
Now that Iâve eaten, how will I get the hell out of here?
I looked around curiously, âdonât go getting any ideas, Iâll catch you before you even see the border,â William threatened with no intention of hiding his possessiveness from me.
How cute my wolf giggled.
I knowâ¦I mentally squealed, but stopped and blinked before glaring at him. Iâve been through enough; a threatening mate is that last thing I need on my list.
Bipolar much? My wolf said.
I sighed and slumped against the chair as William collected the plates and washed them. Knowing that the faucet would block some of my movements, I walked on the tip of my toes and followed Williamâs faint scent that led back to his room and closed the door thinking of a quick plan.
I looked over to the door, noticing from the corner of my eye, a window open behind my mate. I heard footsteps heading this way so I jumped out of the window landing in a crouch. I ran for the woods, all that training I did wasnât for nothing.
âViolet!â I heard a roar behind me and pumped my legs to go faster. I steadied my breathing ignoring the paws behind me and focused on the scents. Three wolves were coming from the east and two from the west and four from north. They were trying to corner me, but if learned anything from my training with Uncle Matt is that there is always a loop hole to being trapped.
I havenât shifted yet and that was an advantage, you never shift unless itâs necessary. I looked around my and jumped on a tree, climbing up and jumped from tree to tree not breaking a sweat. I headed west, knowing it was my best chance of passing them, because goddess knows Iâm not heading in the other direction.
I was at the border line, but I made the mistake of looking back right as my left foot touched rouge land. Before I knew it was tackled to the ground, I would have thought it was from a pack member, but no this stench made me want to vomit, I looked up and saw a rouge on top of me, its eyes red meaning no return, no cure, the blood lust has gotten to this wolf already.
Rouges are dangerous, red eyed rouges are deadly. When a wolf turns rouge, their good for a while, its when they start killing that the blood lust and madness of not being in a pack get to them, sometimes their mate help, but itâs usually a dark path of no return.
I managed to grab its neck without it getting too close to me as I struggled with its weight on top of me.
I snapped its neck, and got it off of me breathing hard before I stood up and turned around to seeing 10 pairs of eyes stare at me in shock. I stared at them waiting to make a move and as they started to close in on me I felt the burn in my eyesâ¦
âMommy, mommy!â I heard a giggle.
I looked over and gasped, this- this little kidâ¦looked just like me and William. His eyes and my hair.
âAhh! Mommy! Save me from the monster,â they yelled as they ran over to me.
âGrrr, Iâm gonna eat you!â William came running towards us his face full of happiness as he looked at us.
I heard a tiny scream before the child ran out of the room and before William went after what Iâm guessing is our child, he stared at me.
He walked over and took me in his arms, kissing me gently.
âI love you Vi,â he whispered.
I blinked, looking around me, the warriors had stopped and stared at me in fear and shock, William had me in his arms looking worried as ever.
I stood up and before William could start asking questions, I shoved him away and passed the border line before shifting and disappearing knowing he wouldnât chase me because Alphaâs hate leaving their territory and I was too fast for his warriors to catch up.
I mentally smiled and for now I knew my wolf would be content knowing that the vision I just had was in our future and that we would be together again with our mate one day.
