CH 5

In the afternoon, Luo Ke took Lin Sifei out again, driving to a golf course in the suburbs.

When they arrived, Lin Sifei closely followed Luo Ke’s legs. It was a big place, so it would be hard to find her if she got lost.

“President Chen.”

“Chair Luo, you’re here.”

Lin Sifei raised her head and saw a refined man with glasses. He shook hands with Luo Ke, smiling, while a young girl observed from his side.

“This is my daughter, Chen Mingsi. Come on, Sisi, be polite to your sister Luo Ke.”

The young girl, wearing a pink dress, smiled sweetly and showed her teeth, “Hello, big sister Luo Ke.”

“Hello.” Luo Ke nodded her head slightly, “President Chen, our cooperation has worked out very well, it’s worth continuing.”

“Ah-” President Chen raised his hand, “I don’t come here just to talk about work, let us play golf and relax.”

“Alright.”

Lin Sifei meowed twice, did Luo Ke forget about her?

When President Chen heard the meowing, he noticed her and smiled, “Is this your cat? It’s so cute.”

“Does President Chen have a cat, too?”

“Indeed, my wife and kids love it, we have a dog and a cat.” He pointed to his daughter, “My daughter can play with the cat, let’s go play golf.”

Luo Ke looked at Lin Sifei worriedly, as she was not quite trusting of a child.

Chen Mingsi noticed that Luo Ke wasn’t convinced and said, “Don’t worry, I take care of our cat at home, so I probably know more about raising cats than you do.”

President Chen glared at her, “Child, disrespectful.”

“It’s all right. President Chen’s daughter is promising.”

Lin Sifei watched the two business people praise each other politely for a while, and then they put on their sun hats and went to play golf. She jumped on a chair and yawned. As she hadn’t slept in the morning, she now was sleepy.

She closed her eyes, but when the fur on her body felt the change of wind direction, she opened her eyes sensitively and saw Chen Mingsi standing in front of her. She yawned and turned her back on her, as if telling her through her actions that she didn’t want to play.

“Little kitty, kitty, don’t sleep, I’m so bored by myself.”

Lin Sifei, bothered by her noise, opened her mouth to growl at her.

Chen Mingsi wasn’t afraid at all, laughing, and took out a small cookie from the small bag on the table, “Do you want some? Cats can eat it, too.”

Lin Sifei’s nose moved. She had been drinking goat’s milk and eating fruit most of the time since she landed in this world, so she did want to try something else.

Chen Mingsi saw that she didn’t close her eyes again, so she smartly broke off a cookie and put it to her mouth, “You touched it, you have to eat it.”

Lin Sifei opened her mouth to bite the cookie, and then jumped on the table to finish chewing the cookie.

Chen Mingsi shared a bag of cookies with her and then took out her phone to play games.

Lin Sifei chewed on a cookie and watched her play. To be honest, she couldn’t bear to look at her gaming skill. After a while, Lin Sifei started meowing to command her what to do, but Chen Mingsi could not understand.

The other team had started to mock them in public chat, and although many of the words had become “****”, but the general content could still be understood.

Lin Sifei couldn’t stand it anymore, so she jumped onto Chen Mingsi’s shoulder, reaching out her paws to touch the screen. Chen Mingsi looked at her in surprise. Lin Sifei pawed the screen quickly, killing two enemies.

Chen Mingsi cheered happily and immediately manipulated the character in game to run away.

The two of them worked together perfectly, and soon they beat the crap out of others, and with  the morale of their teammates boosted up, they successfully won.

Chen Mingsi rubbed Lin Sifei’s head happily, “You’re so good.”

Of course, Lin Sifei thought. used to play the game very well, and she had carried her fans in a game once. However, she was scolded by her manager the next day, who told her to stay away from her fans.

However, in thinking of the past, Lin Sifei became a little depressed, and jumped back to the table to eat cookies.

Chen Mingsi took a break and started another game, and Lin Sifei helped her as usual, the two of them having a blast on the field.

“Hold on, I’ll change our name.” At the end of the first game, she watched as the kid typed a long chain of… interesting names in the ID box.

She was so surprised at the in game name that her claws stuck out and the fur on her back lifted straight up.

Chen Mingsi, however, looked satisfied and re-entered the game, “Gosh, if only I could change my real name so casually. My name is so tacky, I told my dad several times, but he didn’t agree. My mom originally agreed, but then when she heard what name I was going to change into, she didn’t agree either.”

“Meow?” Kid, what horrible name were you going to change yours into?

“I want to change my name to ‘Yue Binglian’.”

Lin Sifei: … Your parents are right!”

Lin Sifei was vomiting internally when she heard the name initially, but then suddenly she froze. This name sounded familiar.

She tilted her head and thought about it. Wait a minute, she remembered that the heroine later recognized a younger sister named Su Binglian, who seemed to be the heiress to a rich family. When the heroine was attacked when she entered the entertainment circle, this rich girl helped out and even resolved it several times.

Lin Sifei’s expression became complicated. She looked at the child, who seemed quite pure and simply looked stupid. She nodded her head silently. Indeed, the original novel was quite a Mary Sue 1

novel.

“Oops, I’m dead.” Chen Mingsi pouted, “Little kitty, why did you not help me.”

Lin Sifei only wanted to know if her mother’s surname is Su, and in moments like these, she hated her cat body again, since she couldn’t even ask.

When Chen Mingsi started another game, Lin Sifei absentmindedly helped her play. Since there weren’t many good players, it wasn’t hard to win.

”SiSi, what are you doing?”

”Me and little kitty are playing games together.” Chen Mingsi blurted out.

Lin Sifei’s paws stiffened and she turned her head to see Luo Ke looking at her with a slight frown. She slapped a paw on Chen Mingsi’s mouth, ‘You aren’t allowed to talk nonsense!’

The cat’s soft paw pad didn’t hurt, so Chen Mingsi didn’t even realize it and was happily boasting, “Sister Luo Ke’s cat is so powerful, I won several games with her.”

President Chen, surprised,looked at Lin Sifei, “Cats can play games?”

After putting down their golf clubs, Luo Ke came over and lifted Lin Sifei into her arms, “Maybe it was a random luck, but cats’ eyesight is much better than human, so its may be more powerful in that aspect.”

Chen Mingsi nodded repeatedly, happily, “I’ll also ask our cat to play with me when I get home.”

Lin Sifei’s spiked fur gradually fell back. Thank heavens it’s over.

After playing the game together, Chen Mingsi started to like Lin Sifei even more, and she even was more polite to Luo Ke.

Sister Luo Ke, what’s your cat’s name?”

“XiaoXiao 2.”

“Because she’s small?” She smiled, “That’s cute.”

She took out her cell phone again, “Big Sister Luo Ke, can I have your social media ID so you add me, so I can see  Xiaoxiao’s photos you would share to friends.”

“I don’t take photos.”

Chen Mingsi withdrew her phone in disappointment, but quickly perked up again, “There is no cat owner who doesn’t take photos, add me first, you’ll take photos later.”

“Kids are so ignorant.” Her father slapped Chen Mingsi on the back of her head and she grimaced.

Luo Ke didn’t want to cause any family conflict, so she shared her WeChat, “I don’t have anything else, but I mostly share business content to my circle of friends, so you can also read and learn.”

“Okay, okay.” Chen Mingshi happily spun in circles.

“I’ll be off then, goodbye, President Chen.”

“Goodbye.” Father and daughter replied.

Luo Ke took Lin Sifei to the car and drove all the way home in silence.

Lin Sifei noticed that Luo Ke didn’t look right and nested up in fear. It’s over. Luo Ke won’t be suspicious of her, right?
