CH 16

Luo Ke patted the cat head in her arms tenderly, causing Lin Sifei to stick her tongue out and leaned her head back, as if she’d fainted.

Luo Ke couldn’t help but smile, and touched her head with her hand, “Are you shy now?”

Lin Sifei did not respond.

Luo Ke raised her brows slightly and leaned close to her, “I’ll kiss you again since you are dizzy right now.”

When Luo Ke had just finished speaking, Lin Sifei raised her head for a second, and then turned her head and buried her ears deep into her arms.

“Hahahahaha.” Luo Ke tilted her head and laughed. Teasing cats was so fun, especially since her cat apparently knew what embarrassment was.

Lin Sifei glared at her, embarrassed, but when she turned around and saw the wound on Luo Ke’s wrist, she meowed.

Luo Ke raised her hand, looked at the injury, and put her on the sofa, “Be good, I’ll have Zhao Min come and clean this mess.”

As Lin Sifei stepped on the soft sofa cushion, her ears moved as she observed Zhao Min call the janitor.

“Chair Luo, let’s go to the meeting room for the time being. The glass shards are everywhere, and it will take time to clean it thoroughly.”

Luo Ke looked at her watch and picked up the cat, “Then I’ll go to the meeting room first, and you should let Yan Yafei come over in a bit.”

When Yan Yafei entered the meeting room nervously, Luo Ke had stretched out her hand to tease a certain cat. When she saw her coming in, Luo Ke nodded slightly to a seat, “Sit down.”

“Apologize.”

Yan Yafei took a deep breath, her lips pursed, her eyes flushed with tears, “I’m sorry.”

Lin Sifei squinted her eyes, lay down on the table, turned over and pointed her butt at Yan Yafei.

Luo Ke picked up the folder on the desk and opened it for her, “Sign it.”

Yan Yafei took the documents, looked at the expulsion notice on it, and looked up in shock, “But… Chair Luo, I have already apologized.”

“You deserve to give me an apology, and you deserve your expulsion.”

“You can’t be so unreasonable.” Yan Yafei bit her lower lip and took a deep breath, “I will apply for labor arbitration, you have no reason to fire me!”

Zhao Min nodded, took the folder, and jogged out.

Lin Sifei happily circled Luo Ke’s legs. They’ve finally fired the heroine. As long as they kept their guard against the group of terrible relatives in Luo Ke’s family up, they were on good footing.

She struggled for a long time and collapsed from exhaustion, letting Luo Ke rub her.
