“Miss Yan, Chair Luo asked me to inform you that you need to go to her office at ten tomorrow morning.”

Yan Yafei’s eyes widened as she squeezed the glass in her hand, “Does Chair Luo want to tell me something?”

Zhao Min gave a small smile, “Miss Yan should know what she means.”

She leaned back, turned and walked towards the door. Yan Yafei’s gaze followed her steps, and as expected, she saw Luo Ke holding the cat.

Lin Sifei noticed Yan Yafei’s gaze and opened her mouth to hiss.

Luo Ke squeezed her mouth, “Have you not learned your lesson?”

Lin Sifei changed her attitude in a second, and lay down on her arm, unable to voice her grievance.

Early the next morning, Yan Yafei appeared at the company with dark circles under her eyes. Since the company working hours started at 8 in the morning, she had to wait two hours.

Since human nature leaned towards gossip, and as Yan Yafei originally had a lot of discussion about her, what happened yesterday was quickly spread, and speculations were abundant.

Yan Yafei pursed her lips and endured the gaze of the people around her, clenching the computer mouse in her hand tightly. She worried all last night that she was found feeding the cat chocolate, but she also felt that it was impossible for Luo Ke to wait until the next day to tell her. Still, apart from this incident, she really couldn’t think of anything else that would be caught by Luo Ke.

She sat at the desk and looked at her watch from time to time. Only three minutes had passed, but she felt that three hours had passed.

Yan Yafei took a deep breath. Perhaps Luo Ke was just trying to deceive her into admitting it. After all, she had an obvious conflict with the cat in the company, so as long as she refused to admit it…

Luo Shengping looked at the message on the phone with a smile on his face. He put away the phone and sat in the swivel chair for a while, frowning gradually.

He snorted and got up to find Luo Ke.

As he walked to the elevator and looked at the changing numbers on the elevator, he suddenly became angry.

He stared at the numbers, dreaming up a different scene: Luo Ke would respectfully come to say hello to him every day, reporting the happenings within the company.

“Elevator is arriving.”

The mechanical sound dispelled his fantasy. Luo Shengping looked at the empty elevator, and he couldn’t distinguish between reality and fantasy for a while. But this was only for a moment as he adjusted his expression again and walked in the elevator.

Walking to the chairperson’s office, Zhao Min stood up and stopped him, “Director Luo, please wait a moment, I will contact Chair Luo.”

Anger surged up in Luo Shengping’s heart again, “I am her second uncle, and I have to ask her to see her? Does she think of herself as an emperor?!”

After his outburst, he stared at Zhao Min, but the other party still kept smiling, even though the secretaries next to her didn’t even dare lift their heads.

He was even more stunned.

“Does Director Luo still want to see Chair Luo?”

“Okay.” She nodded and hung up, “Chair Luo is free now, Director Luo may go.”

Luo Shengping glared at her again and pushed open the door of Luo Ke’s office.

Zhao Min rolled her eyes when Luo Shengping turned around.

When Luo Ke heard that her second uncle was here again, she sighed. This Yan Yafei was somewhat capable in the form of being able to use her second uncle to her own needs.

“Second uncle.”

Luo Shengping smiled at her, but when his eyes fell on the cat lying on the table, his face darkened.

“Xiao Ke, I’m here today…”

“It’s for Yan Yafei again?” Luo Ke sighed, “Second uncle, this is the third time you have come here, all for her. Yan Yafei is not as kind as she seems to be. She wanted to give Xiaoxiao chocolate yesterday, it’s deadly.”

Luo Ke didn’t want to talk to him about the company. Luo Ke frowned slightly, “I will definitely fire her today.”

Don’t even think about threatening me with familial ties, my uncle, Luo Family Corp is my parents’ company, what I do will definitely benefit all of our family.”

“In fact, some of Second Uncle’s actions I have deliberately ignored out of the fact that we are related. If you, uncle, really want to destroy this relationship between us, then we have nothing else to say to each other.

“You! You!” Luo Shengping shook his hands, “Okay, then we’ll just wait and see.”

As he was panting with anger, his eyes landed on the cup on the table, and he picked it up and smashed it towards the cat staring at him on the table.

Lin Sifei watched the glass smashed towards herself, but thankfully, her cat’s flexible body made her jump up quickly, and lightly landed on the coffee table on the other side.

The glass smashed on the corner of the table, causing glass shards to fly in every direction. Luo Ke raised her hand to block her face, but her exposed wrist was caught by a piece of the glass.

When Lin Sifei saw something bright red flow down her wrist, with a heart clenching meow, she stretched out her paw and jumped up suddenly, rushing towards Luo Shengping.

Her hind claws hooked his suit, and her front claws found his face.

She showed no mercy this time. Every time she swiped her claws, there were four red marks. She used a lot of force, and the wounds were actually quite deep when they looked small. Soon Luo Shengping’s face was bloody.

“Rrrrrreow!”

She was thrown off by Luo Shengping, but relying on the balance of the cat, she landed steadily, baring her teeth at Luo Shengping, ready to pounce again at any time.

Luo Shengping screamed, opened the door and ran out.

Lin Sifei opened her mouth and continued to growl, cursing and threatening.

She was so angry that all her hair spiked up, causing her to not notice the footsteps behind her. When she was picked up by one hand, she finally closed her mouth.

She looked up at Luo Ke, rubbed her head against her neck, “Meow~”

Luo Ke rubbed her head and laughed, “I’m fine.”

Lin Sifei looked at her bleeding wrist, Luo Ke followed her gaze and said, “It’s only a small injury, after disinfecting it I’ll be fine.”

Lin Sifei was relieved now, and remembered that fat second uncle again, and thought: Next time I see him, I’ll scratch him again.

She was thinking about better clawing tactics when something soft suddenly touched her lips. When she saw the enlarged face in front of her, her pupils dilated.

Luo Ke finished kissing her and rubbed her cheeks, “You’re so brave, even knowing to protect me.”

Kiss, kiss, kiss! Lin Sifei’s brain heated up rapidly, and perhaps a little smoke came out from her ears.
