[COLE'S POV]
"Please." I pleaded with her. Seeing Mike with Charlie like that had woken up my inner-wolf ,and he wanted her.
"Listen, Cole", I feel heat spread in my chest at the way my name rolls off her tongue, "I'm not gonna let you hurt me again." The pain in my mates voice made me want to caress her, make her feel better.
"I won't hurt you again. I wouldn't, I couldn't. Just please." My hoarse voice barely above a whisper.
She starts to object but, I can't take it anymore. I lean down and take her lips in mine. At first she's shocked, then she tries to wiggle out of my grasp. But finally, she gives in and kisses me back.
Kissing her is the most miraculous feeling I've ever known, her mouth moving perfectly with mine.
I had forgotten that Connor was here until he had cleared his throat.
Charlie and I brake away gasping for breath. Connor stands there looking uncomfortable.
"So, are you two together now?" Connor is to blunt for his own good.
I look at Charlie, asking her the same thing.
"Uh...."
"I'd like us to be."
"Well, um, I mean." She stutters.
"I'll leave you guys to decide." Connor intervenes.
And on that note, he walks away, leaving me and Charlie alone.
