The sun hung high in the sky as Lingling and Orm stepped into the bridal boutique, their fingers intertwined. The wedding was less than twenty-four hours away, and everything was happening in a blur. Orm had barely processed that by this time tomorrow, she would officially be Mrs. Kwong.

Lingling had already picked out her dress—simple yet elegant, exactly how she envisioned it. Orm had given her full approval, her eyes shining with admiration when she first saw it.

But Orm? Orm was struggling.

"There's too many choices," she groaned, flipping through the racks. "How do people even decide?"

Lingling sat comfortably on a nearby couch, watching her fiancée rummage through dress after dress. She couldn't help but smile softly at Orm's frustration.

"You could wear a paper bag, and I'd still think you're the most beautiful person in the world," Lingling teased.

Orm turned, hands on her hips, lips pursed. "Babe, I'm being serious."

Lingling chuckled. "So am I."

After a few more rounds of indecisiveness, Orm finally picked a dress—a stunning yet effortless design that hugged her perfectly. She stood in front of the mirror, turning from side to side, checking how it fit.

Lingling couldn't take her eyes off her.

Orm caught her staring through the reflection and smirked. "Babe, you're drooling."

Lingling rolled her eyes, but her heart ached.

Tomorrow, she would be Orm's wife.

But in five days...

Lingling forced the thought away, plastering a bright smile on her face. "I can't help it, my wife-to-be looks like a goddess."

Orm laughed, stepping down from the pedestal and wrapping her arms around Lingling's neck. "I can't wait to marry you."

Lingling held her tighter, as if afraid to let go.

"Me neither."

_____

With their dresses chosen, they rushed to their next stop—the wedding venue.

Since everything had been planned in a hurry, they had left a lot of the details to Nene, their trusted friend and coordinator. When they arrived, they saw that the florists were already setting up. The sight of Orm's favorite flowers—hydrangeas, lilies of the valley, and red roses—filled the garden beautifully.

Nene walked up to them with her clipboard. "Alright, ladies, we're almost set. Tomorrow, just show up, look stunning, and say 'I do.'"

Lingling chuckled. "Sounds easy enough."

Orm grinned, teasing, "What if I get cold feet?"

Nene gasped dramatically. "Then Lingling will have to chase you down."

Lingling smirked. "Oh, I will. There's no escape."

Orm playfully stuck out her tongue, but Lingling only smiled, trying to keep herself together.

Tomorrow would be perfect.

And after that... she didn't know how she'd survive.

_______

The golden hues of the sunset bathed the city as Lingling and Orm got into their car, ready to head home. It had been a long, hectic day—finalizing wedding details, picking out dresses, and ensuring everything was in place for their intimate ceremony tomorrow.

As Lingling started the engine, she stole a glance at Orm, who was adjusting her seatbelt. She reached over, intertwining their fingers and pressing a soft kiss to Orm's knuckles.

"I can't wait to marry you, Mrs. Kwong-to-be," Lingling whispered.

Orm smiled at the sound of it, her cheeks warming. "I love the way that sounds."

Lingling chuckled. "Better get used to it."

Orm gave a playful smirk, squeezing Lingling's hand. Instead of letting go, she guided Lingling's hand to her inner thigh, resting it there.

"Well, for me," Orm teased, "I can't wait to get home."

Lingling's breath hitched. She knew exactly what Orm was trying to do. She tightened her grip on the steering wheel, fighting every urge to react.

"Baby," she said, clearing her throat, "I know what you're doing, and please, I need to get us home in one piece."

Orm let out a soft laugh, her fingers lazily stroking Lingling's hand. "What do you mean? I'm just saying facts."

Lingling felt the heat creeping up her neck. Orm had been teasing her all day, but this was getting out of hand.

"You've been extra sweet lately," Orm continued, her voice lower now. "It's really making me... feel things."

Lingling exhaled sharply, her pulse quickening.

"Orm, please," she said, half begging.

Orm leaned in closer, her lips just brushing against Lingling's ear. "Then drive faster."

Lingling swallowed hard.

She had never wanted to get home so fast in her life.

_______

The moment Lingling parked the car, Orm immediately unbuckled her seatbelt, ready to rush to their unit.

"Whoa, slow down, my soon-to-be-wife," Lingling laughed, grabbing Orm's wrist.

Orm turned back, pouting. "You were torturing me with that slow driving. You were doing it in purpose. I suffered in silence."

Lingling raised a teasing eyebrow. "Suffered? I am the one suffering since this morning"

Orm dramatically sighed. "Yes. I was ready for you, and you took forever."

Lingling smirked, stepping closer. "Oh? And what exactly were you ready for?"

Orm leaned in, her lips barely touching Lingling's as she whispered, "Why don't you come inside and find out?"

Lingling shivered.

Without another word, she grabbed Orm's hand and practically dragged her toward the elevator. Both of them laughed as they rushed home.

The night was far from over.

______

The door clicked softly as Lingling and Orm stepped inside and closed their door, the world outside fading away as the door closed behind them. The wedding was only hours away, and their hearts were full with anticipation.

Lingling turned to Orm, her eyes gleaming with tenderness. "I can't believe it's tomorrow. I'm going to marry you," she said softly, her voice full of warmth.

Orm smiled, her hand reaching out to caress Lingling's cheek. "It feels like a dream, Teerak. But I'm so ready to spend forever with you."

Lingling felt a flutter in her chest, hearing Orm's words. She had imagined this moment for so long, and now that it was here, it felt even more perfect than she could have dreamed. She reached for Orm, pulling her close into a tight embrace.

For a moment, they stood in silence, holding each other, savoring the closeness. Lingling's fingers ran gently through Orm's hair, her touch soft and comforting. Orm leaned her head into the crook of Lingling's neck, closing her eyes as she inhaled the familiar scent of her skin.

Lingling pulled away just slightly, enough to look into Orm's eyes, her heart full of emotion. "I love you," she whispered, her voice hushed but steady.

Orm smiled, her heart swelling with affection. "I love you, too, Teerak."

The warmth between them was palpable, and without a word, Lingling leaned in, her lips finding Orm's in a gentle, lingering kiss. The world outside disappeared as their kiss deepened, soft and slow, as if each moment was an eternity in itself.

Lingling's hands slid down to Orm's waist, pulling her closer, feeling the heat between them grow. Orm's fingers gently brushed against Lingling's back, her touch light but sending shivers through Lingling's body. The kiss became more passionate, but still tender, as though they were savoring every second.

When they finally broke apart, they were both breathless. Lingling's eyes searched Orm's with a mixture of desire and love, and Orm smiled, her hands resting on Lingling's hips.

"Let's take our time tonight," Orm murmured, her voice low and filled with affection. "No rush."

Lingling nodded, her heart racing with excitement. They slowly undressed each other, the anticipation building with every gentle touch, every shared look. The air between them was thick with emotion and connection, their love blooming in the quiet space of their home.

When they were finally in each other's arms, the world outside disappeared completely. Every movement was filled with love, passion, and trust as they explored the depth of their connection. Their love-making was slow, tender, and intimate, each touch bringing them closer, as if they were both lost in the magic of the moment.

As the night unfolded, they found themselves completely intertwined, hearts and bodies connected, cherishing the quiet, tender moments that were theirs alone.
