Cheer Up

I will never forget any of the cold nights

When I had locked myself in my room with bloodshot eyes

And a runny nose, crying silently that they may be oblivious to my pain, sniffling;

Though you witnessed everything;

Then you brought a smile to my face

Through your advice, remarks, and mere presence;

Amid all that I of the problems that I had faced,

You, as an instrument of God, helped me to see through this tribulation, a touch of promising resplendence.
