I smiled at some of the servers as i walked towards the back. My heels clicked thru the kitchen as i ducked and dodged Chef's...servers carrying trays of food.
It was late and I had gotten out of the office a little later than usual today. Namjoon said Jin was having a tough day. So i decided to stop and pick up his favorite comfort meal for him.
I guess that visit to see my dad really kick started Jin's desire to open his resturant sooner than initially planned. About two months after returning from the trip anna was notified to start interviewing people for jin's position.
After working with us for 8 months. he was ready to venture off on his own. Eventually the CEO decided that He'd leave Jin's responsibilities to Jimin.. it wouldn't be too hard for Jimin to handle and we'd all originally signed a 1 year contract with the possibility of extending.
But I think Jk's dad finished the construction of his companies building here in America. He had started the construction after we graduated college and paid for the finest constructors to work on it non stop, giving the fastest results. I think once Jk's contract end's he'll expect us all to transfer over to taking over the new company immediately. which is understanding. We have the experience now. We got the ropes. and Jk will make a great leader. I'm sure joon will be his right hand man. He looks up to that man so much.
Anyways. everyones been catching colds lately and Jin's down like 4 servers and one of the main chefs. He's stepped in to do as much he could in both spots. But this is jin we are talking about. his place is always packed.
So he's been pretty stressed.
I walked to his office opening the door. He sat at is desk.. It looked like he was working on the mock up for the new desert menu. He'd spend hours on the phone with my dad getting suggestions and advice. I found it cute.
Jin spoke without looking up.
Jin: Hector I'm coming i promise. just let me write a few things before i forget them. Then I'll go take a few orders in section 2
I closed the door behind me
Actually. Hector closed section 2 when i got here. They informed guest that you're low on staff tonight and said it'd be a 30 minute wait to be seated since their only using 3 of the 4 sections to help with the amount of staff you have left. You should see the line out there. So many people are willing to wait for a good meal. It's a full house jinnie.
Jin stopped writing and looked up at me
Jin: Jagi!? what are you doing here... it's late shouldn't you be home?
I chuckled walking up to his desk. His eyes trailed my whole body.
I finished late at the office, so i thought i'd pick the up the perfect stress meal for the most handsome guy in the world
