I pressed my key card against my door. Stilling for a moment to make sure i watched Akuchi get into her room safely.
once she was fully inside with the door closed behind her. I turned and entered my room. I sighed throwing myself onto the bed.
My eyes peaked open at the sound. I reached over seeing a text came in from joon.
Namjoon: Hey... Did you all land yet? Not sure what time it should be down there but you're off the plane by now right?
[Yes.. just got into our hotel rooms]
Namjoon: Good good.. I hope you don't mind. I gave your number to Jungkook. He said he'd need it if at any point he can't get in contact with Akuchi
I huffed kinda annoyed but i understood. That brat pisses me off. but for all the right reasons i guess.
[I understand...]
Namjoon: Okay get some rest. you have a big day tomorrow
I was about to lock my phone when i message came thru

My face twisted a bit as i read it.... Um i wasn't expecting that from jungkook. I assumed he wasn't a big fan of me yet.
[Hi?]

[jungkook if you're trying to check in on Akuchi you could just ask. There is no need to butter me up]

i was confused... what was a supposed to call him. Maybe he preferred being called jk? kook perhaps? I didn't think we were close enough for me to use his nicknames.
Soon my phone rang in my hands... it was a facetime call from the same number.. i asked and rolled my eyes while it connected ready to tell him to piss off so i could get some sleep but was surprised to see it was Jimin instead.
He had a sultry smirk on his face. His hair was damn and it seemed like he was about to apply a face mask.
Me: Oh? Jimin?
Jimin: Surprised?? that's Mr. Park to you
he said biting his lip. This kid's got guts.
Me: why are you calling me so late? Shouldn't you be headed to bed? how did you get my number
he rolled his eyes
Jimin: Don't worry about me pops I'll go to bed when i'm ready. I'm old enough to choose my own bed time. oh and i stole your number out of Jk's phone.
he said waving his hand at me in the end. I raised a brow.
Me: Pops?
Jimin: Mhmm... and i've gotta say. I'm loving this angle.... So this is how my view from on top will look?
i knew my face was turning red. I shook my head quickly sitting up. Ash.. someone should put this boy in his place.
Me: Go to bed Jimin it's late. I'm going to hang up now
He laughed grabbing the phone and pulling it closer.
Jimin: NO!!! wait. I wanted to ask you about Chi as well. How was her flight? She's grown out of her fear of them but she still gets a little jittery from time to time.
i shrugged
Me: It was fine.. she was awake for 15 minutes maybe. But she mostly slept the whole thing thru
He nodded
Jimin: Good good, are you two getting along?
I froze a bit... Why would that matter? What made him ask such a question. he chuckled and continued
Jimin: It's just... I've seen the way you've been looking at her lately. I think Kookie has noticed it too.
I huffed not wanting to deal with 3 angry man babies
Me: Don't worry I won't steal your Girl
Jimin scuffed rolling his eyes
Jimin: Oh hush... it's clear you want to talk to her.. She's not ours anyway. As much as we'd love to have her. Akuchi doesn't belong to anyone. She's a free spirit. part of the reason I love her so much. Who knows maybe she'll become close with you all as well
It was my turn to scuff. causing him to raise his brow.
Me: I don't think she cares much for me. In fact Im the person she's talked to the least. she has a bond with hobi and already seems to be getting closer with Jin and Joon. She barely notices me and didn't speak a word to me the entire flight even tho we sat together.
Jimin smirked
Jimin: aww someone's jealous
Me: Of course not! im just telling it like it is.
Jimin: No what you are doing is reading too deep into everything. Or reading everything wrong at least from what i can see.... Akuchi, she has always been pretty good at reading people and respecting their boundaries. She probably takes you for the kind of guy who likes his personal space. It's definitely the vibe you give off.... but that wont stop me
I smacked my lips and he laughed
Jimin: Anyway. More than likely she assumes you'd like to keep your distance and wont engage with you unless its absolutely necessary or you start the convo. That way she doesn't over step or annoy you.... but that's just my guess.
I nodded at him in thought
Jimin: Anyways... i should head to bed. Goodnight
Me: Goodnight
and with that he hung up I sat my phone down and placed my hands behind me head.
So she read me huh?... well she's got the right idea. If it was anyone other than her i'd like to be left alone. Taking jimin's words into consideration, I should engage with her more frequently if i'm going to have a shot at being close to her.
Yea... I can do that.
I turned over on my side and drifted to sleep.
