"I hate you Veer! Why would to go and tell Anirudh about me? Just why!!?" I asked him crying. I just can't believe my own brother is helping the guy whom I'm trying to ignore.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me, bro"
"Don't call me that!" I shouted.
"I'm sorry please"
"Please keep your sorry to yourself now, get out of this house and go live with Anirudh" My tears were coming down my cheeks as I shouted again and slammed the door at his face.
I cried a lot then heard a knock on my door. I wipe my tears and it's Arya.
"You were crying?" She asked me
I wipe away her tears and do not answer. I just look at Arya and her face looks more like a frown.
Arya understands that I'm so she doesn't push me further. Arya takes a seat on the couch opposite me and keeps quiet thinking I will say something soon.
After a few minutes, I realize that keeping quiet isn't helping the situation at all. So I decide to talk. My rage was slowly subsiding as I explained the situation to Arya.
Arya too listens to me carefully and doesn't interrupt me. She also gets a bit angry with me after hearing all the details and wants to bash up Veer.
"I don't even know what to do now. My own brother betrayed me," I said remembering today's incident.
"Well, I think you should confront Veer. You need to give him a piece of your mind anyway, so what are you waiting for?" She answers.
"You're right. I will definitely confront him. I can't forgive him that easily." I decide and stand up.
"I should get going it's already late"
'Yes, sure." I give Arya a faint smile and Arya leaves after comforting me. I went to Veer's room to confront him.
I knock on his door with anger and wait for his reply. He opens the door. We look at each other but neither of us speaks.
Veer looks at me with a guilty look. I'm waiting for him to say something. I have a lot to say but want Veer to start the conversation first.
Veer remains silent and continues to look at each other. I'm getting impatient now and breaks the silence."So what do you have to say about all this?" My tone turns icy now. I don't want to forgive him just yet.
He takes a deep breath before speaking. He knows he has done something wrong, but he still believes there is no other way for him to deal with the situation.
"Look, I know I've hurt you and I'm sorry. But you should also consider my position. I really want you and Anirudh to be together and I'm trying to help both of you." He explains.
"Veer did I not mention that I have a boyfriend"
"Yes, you did, but is he an ideal match for you? I doubt that. Anirudh is perfect for you in every way." He says confidently, adding more fuel to the fire.
"Do you forget how hard it was for me to move on from him"
"I know. But, he has changed now. He deeply regrets his actions and wants nothing but to be with you. Maybe you should give him a second chance. You'll see how different he is from the man he used to be." Veer explains.
"I really want you to forgive him. You both are perfect for each other. I can't see you being with anyone other than him." He adds.
"Veer you're talking nonsense."
"No, I'm not. Anirudh loves you and has gone through a transformation for you. Now it's time for you to change for him. Don't push him away when he comes so close. Just take him in your arms and accept him." Veer continues.
But I walk away to find solace in y own room. I lie down on my bed but am unable to calm down. I keep thinking about Veer's words and keep blaming herself for her brother's actions. I couldn't stop crying. After a while, I realized that no one would come to console me e in this situation. She wipes her tears and stands up.
'Why did this happen? Why couldn't Veer listen to me? I didn't need his help so why did he have to meddle? I can't believe he went to Anirudh and told him all these things.' I keep thinking and am getting more disturbed by the thoughts.
I was startled by the knock. I wasn't sure who it could be. I took a deep breath and opened the door.
My heart skipped a beat as I noticed Anirudh on the other side of the door. I looked at him with a startled look on my face and was at a loss of words. I felt shy and slightly embarrassed by his sudden visit. Her brain was too numb to function properly.
Anirudh broke the silence. His eyes said aloud that He was relieved to see me. But he was unsure how to approach me? "Can I come in?" He asks me.
I hesitate. I want nothing more than to let him leave. But at the same time, I am scared to face him. I am still upset with his past actions and am wary of trusting him. I look at him silently for a few seconds as I try to make up my mind.
"W-why are you here?"
Anirudh tries to answer gently and without hurting my feelings. "I'm here because I care for you; I always have and I always will. I'm sorry I hurt you in the past, but this time I promise I won't let you down. Let me prove to you how much I've changed, I want a chance to show you that."
"Veer take him away from here otherwise I will stop talking to you" I shouted so that Veer could hear me.
"Why are you trying to escape from me? I have said I want to talk to you. We can't leave things between us like this, Yo-"
Anirudh wants to answer but is cut off by Veer. Veer tries to calm me down. He knows I'm upset. Anirudh is about to make some remarks but Veer stops him. Then Veer turns to Me. "Look, I really love you. Anirudh has come here to apologize to you. You should forgive him. I know he's changed."
"Veer why are you so stubborn? Just take him away from here!"
Veer feels guilty about pushing me into a situation I am clearly uncomfortable with. He can see the frustration on my face and his actions are not helping. So he takes Anirudh aside. He looks at him with a stern expression. "I know you really love my sister, but you can't force her to forgive so easily. She needs time to process it all. I know you've changed but she has to figure that out for herself. So please, let her be. She will come around." I heard them talk
"Fine, I understand" Anirudh answers. He looks at me one last time before leaving. Veer watches us both with an anxious expression like he wants me to at least speak to him. He knows he has to give me some space, but it's painful for him to watch us be apart when we both are so perfect together according to him. I rolled my eyes and decided to finally give him a chance

"Wait,"
Anirudh turned around to look at Bondita, pausing for a moment before speaking. He was unsure of what her response would be and was hoping that she would give him a chance. He took a deep breath before beginning to speak, wanting to convey his emotions properly.
"Just tell me what you have to say now."
Anirudh takes a deep breath before replying to her. He wants to convey his emotions properly and not make any mistakes. "Bondita, I'm sorry for everything I did in the past. I treated you unfairly and hurt you. What I did was selfish and ignorant and I promise I won't repeat my mistakes. I want a chance to prove to you how much I've changed. I still love you very much and want to be with you. Please don't shut me out. I beg you to hear me out."
Bondita was unable to hold back her tears as she asked him, "Why are you doing this now?"
Anirudh's heart ached at the sight of her tears. He wished he could undo his mistakes and take back all the pain he had caused her. "Bondita, I promise that everything will be alright. Please just give me a chance to explain myself to you," he pleaded.
His words seemed to touch her heart, and despite her hesitation, Bondita found herself beginning to believe him once more. She remained silent, prompting Anirudh to continue. "Bondita, I was also misled. I believed the lies that were told to me by a girl."
"A girl?" Bondita asked curiously.
"Yes, Girl. She was the one who said you are in love with someone else. She was the one who said that you were just playing around with me. She was the one who said you were never interested in me," Anirudh's eyes were now swollen.
"Who?"
"Arya"
