"Yah! You're such a lazy ass. You could have called me by yourself" The unsurprising high pitched yelling starts hitting every corner of your room.
"I'm packing" you stretch the 'ing' annoyingly, ending with a scoff. "My hands are tied and I'm wearing headphones. It's easier that way"
"Ugh whatever. This young generation has answers for everything it's seems" you could clearly feel Jin rolling his eyes in his skull through the phone.
"Ha. Ha. Ha."
"Shut up" "I'll come pick you up tomorrow. Text me when you've reached"
"No it's alright. We have everything sorted. Actually Hyeyeon's boyfriend has booked us the train, the hotel, the Uber and everything. This trip is on him he insists" you shake your head.
"Seems like a rich guy. Well then, when you're settled, text me and I'll come see you" he says after you hear him open a ramyeon packet.
"Are you seriously eating ramyeon in my face?" You complain playfully thinking how eating ramyeon together is you guys' thing. He makes the best instant noodles on the planet.
"Hah!" "I'll obviously make some for you when you're here" "Alright listen, I'm receiving another call. It's work. Text me or call me when you've reached the town safely and settled in, okay?"
"Yes sir"
"Alright. See you soon little bean"
"That's cringe"
"Shut up, little bean"
"Alright. See you! Bye bye"
"Bye. Take care"
"You too"
He hangs up the phone call and you smile while shaking your head recalling the names he keeps calling you. Following that, another thought pops in your head. Jin has always been your go to person. No matter what happens he has always got you covered and backed, even if you are in the wrong. He has just spoiled you like that.
You guys may not be real siblings but he is no less than the same for you and Yeonhan. He is your official guardian after your parents. He'd literally kill for you two if needed. He's extremely protective of you two. He's the kind of rich parent that would back their spoiled children even if they murder someone.
"Finally" you exhale after holding your waist and leaning back trying to crack your stiff back. Packing is complete.
The weekend plan with Hyeyeon and her secret boyfriend somehow turned into a week's plan. Hyeyeon's stubbornness has been a battle that you've never been able to triumph. Well you love her so much, you just can't say no to her anyway.

"Yes and you better eat well everyday. I don't care about anything else. Don't ever ignore your meals like that again"
"I get it. I get it. I'll never skip a meal again. It was just once today, I promise" Yeonhan assures you while you are on a video call with him, sitting in the metro waiting to reach your destination.
"Alright now. Go to sleep! I'll talk to you later. If you need anything let me know, okay?"
"Yes. By the way when you meet Jin Hyung, tell him that I miss him and you guys should come visit me someday"
"Yes I utterly understand why you miss him-"
"Alright, I'm sleepy and SO tired. Take care Y/N, Goodnight bye bye"
"Yeah yeah bye!" You shake your head with a smirk.
"Damn. He is growing up so fast" Hyeyeon smiles at your phone screen.
"I know" you feel overwhelmed thinking about him just being a centimeter long baby but now he's suddenly in another country studying CS at a very prestigious university and making you proud.
"Hey, wake me up when we reach. I couldn't sleep last night out of excitement so I'm going to take a nap" Hyeyeon speaks after leaning her head on your shoulder comfortably.
"Yup!"

Reaching Busan station, you gently wake Hyeyeon up while gathering your luggage. You both step out of the metro searching for directions.
"Do you need some water?" You pass Hyeyeon a bottle of water seeing how she looks tired post nap. She nods and takes the water. She still looks sleepy.
"The Uber drive said he'll be here in 5 mins. I think by the time we get out of the station, they should be here"
"Alright then let's figure our way out" Just when you reply, Hyeyeon's phone goes off.
"Hey" she answers in the most sweet tone you've ever heard. You narrow your eyes at her knowing she's speaking to her secret boyfriend that you are very suspicious of.
"Just reached. The Uber should be here in 5 minutes" "Yes I'll call you when I'm checked in at the hotel and then you can let me know where to meet tonight" "Alright, I love you too. Bye babe" she hangs up with a blushing face.
"I think I found our way out" you struggle to point your finger towards the exit sign with your extra packed hand with travel things.
"Awesome, let's go!" She squeals.
Damn. Someone doesn't seem sleepy anymore. Just as opposite from 2 minutes ago.

"So....?"
"So...?" Hyeyeon repeats.
"Tell me more about your boyfriend" you clarify.
"I already told you everything, Y/N. Stop with the suspicion. He is real and he really is in love with me and I'm happy. More than I've ever been" She exclaims starting to get annoyed.
"I'm just looking out for you. That's what best friends do, Hyeyeon. You don't even know what he does for living, why is he always traveling to Seoul when he lives in Busan and-"
"Well why don't you ask him all of this when you meet him and his friends tonight. He might answer you" she passes you the most sarcastic smile ever.
You just sigh sitting in the Uber on the way to the hotel. You realize you're not being the supportive best friend you are supposed to be because of your own trust issues. You calm yourself and decide to let go and see for yourself tonight. While you were thinking about her boyfriend, you just couldn't let his name slide off your mind being confident about hearing it previously.

"A pleasant good morning to you ladies. How can I help you today?" The personnel at the concierge greets you.
"Good morning" you both smile at the gorgeous man standing on the other side of the concierge desk.
"We have a suite reserved under the name Park Jimin" Hyeyeon inquires.
"Let me look that up in a minute" the personnel dives into the computer. While he was doing that Hyeyeon gets a call from her boyfriend again.
"Are you serious?" "I haven't even freshened up" "what do you mean by I can do that at your apartment? You have friends there. I need to a take a shower" "No, Jimin I can't just leave Y/N alone like that and go with you right now" "what? You're on your way already? Oh my God Jimin. Hold on-"
You were just listening to the conversation when you received a reply on the text you sent Jin when you arrived here.
"If you don't have any plans for the afternoon, I can come pick you up in a hour and then we can go have lunch together. My friends have organized this party tonight, tag along with me. I'll introduce you to some important people in Busan who can help you with work as well as other things. These will be some good connections for you. A lot of people are going to be there" you read Jin's text.
"Y/N, I need to talk you-" Hyeyeon stands before you, pressing her hand against the phone's microphone.
"Hey, it's ok. Go. You're seeing him after a long time and you guys deserve to be with each other. Just do one thing for me, keep your location on. I know you trust your boyfriend and everything but be in my perspective and watch me leave you with someone I haven't seen before or even know much about. Just for my peace of mind, keep your location on. I just want you to be safe" you don't let her speak even when she wanted to say something in between.
"Alright my love. If you are going to try and be supportive, I can do anything I can to have you trust my boyfriend. I'll keep my location on" she gives you a warm smile and hugs you.
You hug her back tightly being concerned for her. It's not her fault nor yours. Your life experiences has shaped you into the person you are today. It's ok to be cautious before trusting someone or something. Your intentions are positive.
"Here are your individual keys to the two bedroom suite. The elevator is on your left and your suite 1708 should be on your right on the 17th floor." The guy at the concierge interrupts.
"Thank you very much" Hyeyeon grabs the keys and hands one to you.
"I'll wait here until you leave" you say while taking the key.
"No you really don't have to. You should go wash up"
"No I'm going to wait" "He'll pick you up from that front gate, right?" You ask.
"Yes." "He is in fact here. He just texted me" Hyeyeon speaks looking around outside at the driveway from the glass wall of the hotel and so do you.
"There he is" she points at a black Porsche which just pulled up into the driveway.
He is RICH rich. You sigh. There's already something about such rich people to be careful about. Not only their are rich but that kind of richness comes with massive power. That power is to be careful of.
"I'll pick you in the evening, okay?" She leans in for a final hug before parting. Your eyes are stuck to the car trying to see the face of her boyfriend but unfortunately there's black film on the car windows preventing you from seeing what's inside.
What a perfect vehicle to kidnap someone.
Fine I'm being too paranoid, you think to yourself.
"I'll see you tonight. I love you" Hyeyeon leans out and starts stepping backwards while waving at you and finally leaves.
You smile lightly at the car watching it drive off.
"Sounds good to me. I do have a plan but it's late at night. We can figure our plan out when you pick me up. Pick me up at 1 pm" you reply to Jin.
"See you then my little bean"
"Urgh"
"Lol"
You chuckle at your phone screen and shake your head.

You were scrolling through your phone screen, saving some healthy life quotes on Pinterest when you heard a high pitch-attention grabbing voice.
"Y/N-Ah!"
Your head snaps up after the voice startles you. Following the scare, a grin immediately takes over your face.
"Jin ì¤ë¹ !" You raise from the chair and walk towards him before he grabs you and chokes in a tight hug.
"I-can't-breathe-" you manage to speak through the oxygen you ration out.
"My little bean! You've grown so much!" His voice does not lower a single pitch. At this point everyone around in the hotel lounge has their eyes on you.
"We literally met last month, ì¤ë¹ " your voice comes out shaky as Jin takes hold of your shoulders and starts swaddling you back and forth aggressively, excitedly.
"Oh that's right we did" at that note, he suddenly leaves you. "Alright let's pop in my car. I'm taking you at a very delish lunch place" Jin order and you follow.
Who talks like that? Only Jin.

"How have you been?" You ask after the waitress leaves you two the menus.
"I've been greater than before. How's my bean doing?" "Did you get over that guy or no?" "Where's Hyeyeon?" "How's your job going on?" "Is Yeonhan fooling around or not? It's time" "How's-"
"ì¤ë¹ ã ã ã ã ã !"
"Okay, okay. I'll let you speak"
"Thank you" you sigh and stare at him with large eyes. "I told you, we don't speak of that guy anymore and stop asking me if I'm over him. I was never under him, Hyeyeon is with her boyfriend I already told you, my job's going better than ever and no, Yeonhan is strictly focusing on getting through his second year, so absolutely no fooling around" you answer all in one breathe. "Although I'm afraid he has crush" you speak secretively in a low voice, looking in a random direction.
"Waaaaaah, my brother is growing up and is being rebellious" Jin speaks proudly of Yeonhan.
"It's all because of your spoiling"
"Well you know, my mom and dad used to spoil him before they died, then I wanted to continue their legacy after growing up. It's only fair. He is our maknae" Jin shrugs and starts browsing through the menu.
After he says that, the thought of your deceased uncle and aunt passes through your mind. You remember how much they used to love you, especially Yeonhan. They were an unfortunate couple. They weren't blessed with the ability to be able to procreate. So, before and after adopting Jin when he was like 8 or 9, they used to treat you and Yeonhan like their own children and spoil you two beyond what was enough. They were like your second set of parents. You still haven't gotten over the fact that they died in a fatal car accident when Jin was just a teenager.
Today you look at Jin and feel happy seeing how he has raised himself so well and has become such a gentle and successful person. There's nothing in the world you respect more. He is an inspiration and definitely the definition of self-made for you. You aspire to be just as strong and successful as him one day.
"Jin ì¤ë¹ "
"Hmm?" He doesn't look up at you being busy choosing what he wants to eat.
"I missed you" you speak with soft eyes and tone.
He immediately looks up at you hearing the seriousness of your tone. With no words coming out of his mouth any sooner, you both pass a wholesome smile.
"I missed you too, my little bean" "I wish I could buy you food and gifts everyday just to see that stupid smile on your face. You're the only sister I have and I'm going to take care of you like a small new born fragile puppy" "you and Yeonhan are the only ones I think of first when I think of family. I'm always here you." "That being said, I'm going to find that bastard who broke your heart and-"
"There you go again. I told you it's nothing like that!" You yell the last line after being fluffy hearted because of what Jin said before.
"Yeah, Yeah, whatever"

"Y/N-ah"
"ì´?"
"I have someone that I have been wanting you to meet from a long time" Jin's voice suddenly starts sounding serious and careful just like when you speak when you don't know how the person before you will be reacting.
"Who?" You wipe your mouth after finishing the last bite of the food and look up at him with a light frown.
"Just someone important. I told you on the text earlier." "Are you free tonight?"
"Tonight?" "I mentioned before. Hyeyeon's boyfriend is throwing a huge party for her tonight and I have to be there"
"Well text me the address of the place and I'll see how far it is from my place" Jin pulls out his phone.
"Ok" you nod your head biting your tongue and forward him the address. "Sent"
You watch Jin as he navigates through your text. As seconds go by, you watch Jin's eyes grow wider and wider.
"What?" You question watching his expressions.
"Who-" he clears his throat, snapping out of his flooded thoughts. "Who's place is this, Y/N?"
"Hyeyeon's boyfriend's. Why?"
"What's his name?"
"I don't remember clearly but I think it was Ji-m-Ji-min-Park Jimin, I guess it was" you try to think harder.
As soon as you speak out his name, the deep frown on Jin's face clears up. For a second but you promise you saw Jin getting mad. It was just for a second but you know you saw him getting pissed before he immediately covered that up and looked away after having an eye contact with you.
"What? What happen? Do you know him?" You shower your questions.
"Y/N, I'm sorry but I suddenly remembered that I had to be somewhere, urgently. I'm booking you an Uber, go back to your hotel. I might see you tonight" Jin absurdly raises from his seat, looking at you sucking his lips in, trying to not let out a wrong word or expression.
"What? But we just met-"
"I'll see you later, Y/N. I'm really sorry but I have to go. I love you. Don't get lost, take care!" Jin starts walking backwards all of a sudden and just disappears in the next minute, leaving you speechless.
What was that?
Park Jimin.
There's definitely something about that name you know you are missing out on. Why did Jin leave like that after hearing his name?
