Carson's POV
I stepped in the shower and sighed. That was, by far, the worst fight we have had yet. Darren still wasn't in the mix though which has me really worried. For as many rogues there is he could have them all on his team, and if that's the case we are screwed. Jace had finally had enough and went to confront the guy across the street but when he did there was a For Sale sign in the front yard, further confirming that Darren was in fact living there. He probably moved knowing we weren't living there anymore and wasn't sure where we were. Tonights fight though was bad because a lot of the rogues got away, most likely to report to Darren that we were in the fight. I'm glad Tyler wasn't there though. It was brutal. We lost three people tonight. That was why Jace had finally lost it. They were part of his pack before Dave and him merged their pack together.
I finished my shower then stepped out. Once I dried myself off I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked into my bedroom. When I entered I seen Sara sitting on the bed. She looked up when I walked in then bit her lip. "I have a question."
I nodded and grabbed some clothes before stepping back into the bathroom. I dressed quickly then walked back out. "Whats wrong you seem upset."
She shook her head then sighed. "Your not suppose to meet your mate until your 18 right." We had explained to her and the boys about the mating process a while ago.
I nodded and sat behind her. "Why do you ask."
"At school today I met this guy and my wolf started jumping around all excited. I don't know if he is another wolf or not but it was really weird."
"How did you feel when you first looked at him?" I asked.
She sighed and laid back on the bed. "The same way you described when you found Daddy only magnified. Everytime he touches me I feel tingles everywhere on me. Even if its just up my arm I feel it everywhere."
I bit my lip. "Did your wolf say anything."
She shook her head then sat up. "My wolf has never talked to me and has never been this active."
"Your only ten though."
She shrugged. "How else would you explain this, Dad." she said giving me a dumbass look.
I glared at her. "Stop maturing. Its scary."
She giggled. "I'm sorry I can't control it."
I kissed her head. "Well don't tell him anything yet. Your to young but invite him over for dinner tomorrow. I want to meet this kid and also find out if he could possibly a wolf."
She nodded then stood up. "Kay love you." She said, going towards the door.
"And tell your father and dad to come here." I exclaimed, sighing.
She looked at me. "Why, you can just mind link them."
I glared at her again before mindlinking them.
She giggled. "Love you, Dad." She said, before running out.
I smiled and shook my head just before Tyler walked in. "Where's Jace?" I asked.
"Taking a shower downstairs." He said, sitting on my lap. "Whats wrong?" He asked, wrapping his arms around my neck.
"Sara found her mate."
"Wait, what." He said, looking at me in disbelief. "That's not possible."
"Ya well the way she explained it to me it sounds to me like she did."
He stood up and started pacing. "She hasn't told him anything has she."
I shook my head then made him sit down. "Calm down. God, if your going to act like this I can only imagine what Jace is going to act like."
He glared at me then sighed. "He's going to freak out. I'm freaking out. This is 8 years to early of course we should be freaking out. How does she even know?"
I explained to him what she told me. "The only thing that didn't happen was her wolf telling her. Which will probably happen when she turns 18."
He sighed and laid back on the bed. "Jace is going to freak out."
"I'm going to do what?" Jace asked walking in our room with a towel around his waist and wet hair.
"Sit down and don't get up until I get done explaining."
"Can I get dressed first." He said, walking over to the dresser.
I groaned and laid on the bed. I really didn't want to deal with this but what else could I do. I couldn't keep it from him.
Once he was dressed he sat on the bed and started drying his hair. "Alright go on."
I rolled my eyes but started explaining anyway. "Sara found her mate."
His eyes widened before he stood up. "Oh hell no. Sara get in here." He yelled by the door. "How does she know."
I rolled my eyes then sat down. "So much for being calm." I said, laying back.
"How the hell am I supposed to be calm. She's ten." He said, right when Sara walked in.
"Jeez don't have a panic attack. He doesn't know anything and he said yes to dinner tomorrow." She said, looking at me.
"You aren't going anywhere with him alone."
I chuckled. "No, he's coming over here for dinner so we can meet him. She isn't sure if he is a wolf or not. There are so many kids in this damn pack and if he is a wolf and not in this pack this could be a trap."
"How could this be a trap. Using a ten year old boy isn't smart and even if he is wolf and not apart of this pack how could she be feeling like he is her mate." Jace exclaimed, running his hands through his hair.
I shook my head. "That's why I want to talk to him. We will know almost immediately." I said, walking over to him. "Calm down. I already have this all figured out." I said, wrapping my arms around him. "And face it if he is her mate then we will take it as we go."
"Maybe we can hold of the matting until she is 18 and it won't affect her like normal." Tyler said, sitting up.
"Maybe but what if it dont." Jace said, looking at him. "Can you really stomach the fact that our ten year old daughter will be losing her virginity at ten."
"Would you rather have her suffering the whole time." Tyler said crossing his arms.
"Has anyone thought about what I might think." Sara said stepping in the middle of the room. "How maybe it's my decision. It is my future you are fighting over and rather you like it or not if he does end up being my mate I will be the one to pick. Don't like it go to hell." She said, then walked out.
I sighed and sat on the bed. "She's right you know." I said, putting my head in my hands. "Lets just wait until tomorrow and see what happens. This boy is meant to be in her life somehow weather it be love or not." I said, walking out and straight to Sara's room. I knocked on her door, lightly. "Sara, babe can I come in?"
She unlocked her door and opened it before walking back to her bed.
I stepped inside and closed the door behind me. "I'm sorry."
She wiped her face and shook her head. "I'm wasn't all your fault. I'm just scared."
I walked over to her bed and sat on it before pulling her into my arms. "We all are. We have a lot going on. We don't want you getting hurt." I sat, rubbing her back.
"I know." She sniffed and leaned back against her head board. "He's really nice though. He's even kind of cute. I never started noticing guys until him."
I chuckled. "Even though you were nuts for bieber." I smirked as she started blushing.
"Shut up, Dad, I'm not exactly proud of that."
I laughed and pulled her close. "We love you and are only wanting what is best."
"Why does it matter anyway it's not like you dad and daddy don't screw like animals every night."
My eyes widened. "How do you know that."
She smirked. "You guys aren't exactly quiet about it."
I sighed. "The reason we are making this a big deal is because you are 10. Way to young for this to be happening to you. Some people don't even get the chance to find their mate you you could possibly have yours before you get to that age."
She smiled slightly. "How long did it take you to find daddy and papa."
"100 years."
"I forgot we don't age."
I smiled and nodded. "When you turn 21 you will stop aging. Men stop at 26 unless they find their mate." I stood up and kissed her head. "Go to sleep you have a big day tomorrow."
"He wants to know what he should wear."
"Something nice. We are probably going out. I don't know if your dad will be able to cook with the nerves."
She giggled and nodded. "Love you, dad."
I smiled. "Love you, to, baby girl." I said, shutting her light out and walking out.
