Saturday 27th January Star POV I wake up snuggled into a warm fur blanket. Sighing as the heat radiates from it.

I reach out and stroke the silky soft fur, the steady heartbeat calming me. Wait what?

My eyes shoot open and meat the black depths of Maximus.

My neck and thigh were both nuzzled by wet noses, and when I turned around, I saw Storm and Hunter’s faces. “Good morning, my beautiful wolves. Thank you for keeping me warm during the night.”

They all nuzzle me, tickling me with their fur.

Maximus pushes me onto my back, pinning me down, “slow down, big boy, that is not happening. I am fine with being with you in your human form, but not like this, Okay?”

Moving away, the three of them shifted to their human forms, their gaze still dark, indicating that the wolves had not relinquished control.

Max moved towards me and brought me onto his lap, tightly embracing me, his head tucked in my neck.

“My sincerest apologies, my little one. I was so delighted to spend time with you that I got a bit ahead of myself.” His raspy voice is muffled in my neck.

I tug his head back and look into his unhappy eyes, kissing him tenderly and smiling at him.

“baby, I love you, all of you, and I want to spend time with my wolves, just in human form, okay?”

The other two are now kissing.my shoulders and whining, clearly jealous of the attention the eldest is getting.

After embracing them both, I stand up, quivering in the frigidness of a January morning.

My three sexy husbands regain control and Ash rushes to the tree line, coming back with clothes for the three of us.

I put on the large t-shirt he gives me, and we start our journey back to the pack house.

We pass several other couples dressed in similar attire to us, bidding them good morning as we pass.

At the steps to the pack house, I stretch. “I don’t know what I want more, a long soak in the bath or breakfast. I am starving, but my body feels like it was attacked by three horny wolves last night.”

Lex embraced me around the waist and declared, “You were attacked last night, and it’s very likely you will be attacked again this morning, so let’s have breakfast first to get your strength up.”

When we get to the pack kitchen, we find some very tired Omegas pottering about.

The smell of grilled sausage and bacon fills the air, making my stomach grumble.

“Oh good morning Luna, Alphas, Luna Amanda, I mean….” I hold my hand up to her, “it’s ok, she will always be our Luna.”

The Omega smiles and bows her head to me, “Luna Amanda told us to just make sandwiches for breakfast this morning, but I can whip up anything you want.”

“Actually, bacon sandwiches sound amazing right now. Can we take them upstairs, please?” Smiling, she wraps enough sandwiches for the four of us and we head up to our suite.

We dig into our breakfast like we haven’t eaten in days, Lex gets ketchup on his nose in his hurry to stuff his face, I giggle at the faces he pulls at me while I try to wipe it off with a napkin, “don’t be a baby, you have ketchup everywhere, let me…..” he points the ketchup bottle at me and squirts it in my face, the cold wet gloop drips from. my nose, “oh you are in so much trouble now, mister!”

Casing him around the room trying to grab the bottle off of him, but he is too f*****g tall, writhing seconds before he has emptied the entire bottle on my head, f*****g a*s.

Laughing from the door to the bathroom makes Lex turn.

I use the opportunity to scrape a handful of ketchup for my head and face and smash it into Lex’s face and neck.

Throwing me over his shoulder, he smacks my a*s before striding to the bathtub and dumping me in. Ace climbs in after me, chuckling at the bubbles littering my face and hair, “let’s get all rid of all that ketchup, shall we?”

Once my hair is clean, he pulls me onto his lap and wraps his arms around my.

I relax into him as Ash rubs my feet and Lex plays with my fingers, sighing I lock at my mates, “so what are we going to do about Kia and Evelyn?”

Lex stiffens, “I want to rip his throat out!” That’s my warrior. I smirk at him and boop his nose. Ace laughs. “I think we should maybe get some information first, then you can have him, bro.”

Ashton looks pensive as he thinks over the situation, “Evelyn is scared, I think she is a victim in this, yes she withheld information when she came here, but I think she was running from an abuser, and the way Kia went for her, I wouldn’t be surprised is her son is abusing her as well.”

“She still put both Star and the pack in danger. I’m not saying she isn’t scared, but she made choices that put others in harm’s way for her own benefit.” Lex is stiff with rage. I caress his cheek.

“Baby, when you are constantly living in fear of the next beating, it’s very hard to think in terms of right and wrong.”

Lex k****s my palm, “you were scared and hurt baby, and I know you would never choose to hurt the pack or any of its members to save yourself, she had a choice, yes it was a shitty one but it’s still a choice.”

“Baby, yes I was beaten, but we have no idea what she was put through, she was mated to her abuser for over 18 years, and he more than likely used more than his fists to control her, if he was raping her as well as hitting her, goddess I would not have survived that. I need to speak to her, find out we’re her head is at, if she passed on information, she is our best bet at finding out what the Miller brothers know.”

Ace looks at Ash, who is nodding in agreement, “Okay, so we will leave the two of you to question her, and Lex and I will work on Kia. What he has done to Suzie is grounds for banishment, but if he has betrayed the pack, then it’s treason and he will be put to death.”

I nod. “I think we need to re-think our trip to Greece. They could already know what we have planned and be waiting for us.” I stand and step out of the tub. Wrap myself in a towel and turn to my gorgeous husbands, “come on, get your butts moving, let’s go get the day started.”

As I head to the bedroom, I hear water splashing and grumbling that sounds like ‘bossy woman’ grinning. I head to the closet and throw on some clothes before heading to the kitchen and starting the coffee machine.

I hear a knock on the door of the suite, and dad, Anne-Marie, Mary-Beth and a man I don’t know walk into the kitchen. Day gives me a k**s on the head and I hug both of the witches.

The stranger looks at me in surprise. His eyes trace my features like he recognises me, but I have never met him before.

My Alphas join us and Ace moves everyone to the lounge while Ash and I pour coffee. When we join them in the lounge, I feel the stranger’s eyes follow my every move. It gives me an uneasy feeling; I shiver and sit close to Lex.

Putting his arm around me, he looks at me with a questioning gaze, he links with my mind, “what’s the matter baby, you seem really jumpy?”

“That man keeps staring at me. It makes me uneasy. There is something about him that gives me the creeps.”

He pulls me closer and k****s my head. I feel stronger with him beside me.

I know my warrior will keep me safe. Lex looks to the witches. “It’s great to see you both again. We missed you yesterday.”

“We are sorry we missed the celebrations, but something came up and we had to handle it personally.” The man’s eyes still haven’t left me, and I move even closer to Lex.

“Are you going to introduce us to your friend? He seems very interested in my wife.” The man blinks and turns his gaze to Lex.

Mary-Beth smiles, “I’m sorry guys, this is Castor Samaras. He is the one that gave us the information on the attack on your mother’s pack star.”

His eyes travel back to me. “I was the Beta to your grandfather, Alpha Atlas, before your stepmother raised the barrier she charged me with finding out who had attacked us, I knew that princess Thalia had been left in Alpha Liam’s charge, but Luna Theia was concerned that the ones responsible for the attack would try to take her again. So I followed and when the opportunity arose, I infiltrated their ranks, I have been on the inside of their operations for nearly 19 years, waiting and when I heard that Thalias’s daughter had been found I decided it was time to make my move.”
