Wednesday 24th January Star POV Cocooned in warmth, I awake with the smell of freshly cut grass, the delicate fragrance of flowers and the earthy smell of the forest, and I am in bliss.

A warm body curves around me from behind, morning wood poking me in the thigh. I reach out, trying to find a second warm body, but it’s not there.

opening my eyes, I take in my surroundings, early morning light seeps through the canvas of the roof of the tent, wait tent, OH MY GODDESS, I lift my hand scared I had dreamed the events of last night, but there on my finger is my gorgeous ring.

In the light of day, the contrast between the different golds of the bands and the tones of the three kinds of stones is stunning. My boys did well.

“Do you like is princess?” I jump at the sudden sound of Ace’s voice in my ear. His chuckle is husky with sleep. I turn over and wrap my arms around him, “it’s perfect my love.”

He leans in for a morning k**s. “morning soon to be wife. How did you enjoy your first camping experience?”

“Well, you set the bar pretty high. You may have spoilt me for camping now. I’m going to expect declarations of love and jewellery from now on.”

“Cheeky girl, but that can be arranged,”

The sound of quiet voices outside draws my attention, and then the unmistakable smell of coffee. “Honey, I love you, but I smell coffee.”

I leap from our bed of pillows and pad naked to the bag of clothes. Once I have grabbed my clothes, I turn to see Ace leaning on an elbow, licking his lips.

“see something you like Alpha?”

“Definitely, come here and I’ll show you exactly how much I like it.”

I throw his clothes at him, “get up, there is coffee out there.”

Dressed in my jeans and sweater, I pull on a pair of Ashton’s thick socks and my wellies. Ace is still trying to entice me back to bed. His latest attempt is lying on his back and stroking his c**k.

Shaking my head at him, I head to the tent flap, “s*x fiend.”

His laugh follows me out. “Morning baby, is Ace trying to mount you again? What a horny wolf our older brother is.”

“Like the two of you are any better.” I giggle. Ashton looks like he has been crying, so I sit on his lap, he nuzzles my neck, “morning angel,” I cup his cheeks and press a light k**s on his nose, “everything ok my love?”

“Perfect”. Then he stands and runs into the field, spinning me around, then he shouts at the top of his lungs. “WE ARE GETTING f*****g MARRIED!”

He spins us so fast he loses his balance and we tumble to the floor. He twists to make sure he takes the brunt of the fall. “Alexei and I had the most honest talk we have ever had. For the first time in my life, I know my place, and that is thanks to my perfect fiancé.”

“Wow, she sounds amazing. You had better keep a tight hold on her.”

“Oh, believe me, I will never let her escape from my clutches, Muahahah.” Then he tickles me and keeps on ticking me till I beg for mercy.

Lex’s amused voice calls us for breakfast and Ash reluctantly pulls me to my feet, we walk back to the tent hand in hand, Ace has finally got out of bed and is relaxing in a beanbag, his long legs stretched out before him, Ash pulls me back onto his lap and Lex pulls the table full of breakfast towards us.

Just as we are finishing our leisurely breakfast, Harold, the head gardener, heads towards us, a huge grin on his face. “Good morning Alphas and Luna. When I saw the message that you were camping in January, I thought someone was pulling my leg, but I have to say you all look very cosy there.”

“Good morning Harold, we promise we will tidy up.”

“Don’t worry yourself young Alpha Ashton, I have a crew coming to take everything down after breakfast, I came to tell you that a delivery of furniture and linens is on its way, Steve thought Luna Star would want to be there to direct everyone.”

Lex laughs, “he means boss everyone about baby.”

Harold goes red in the face and starts stuttering, “he’s right Harold, and my bossy self is going to start right now, so her you butt’s up and let’s go, we are going to put those muscles to use.”

Lex shakes his head at Harold, “see what happens when you put a ring on a girl’s finger? She gets bossy.”

The old gardener beams at us, “oh my, congratulations, we needed some good news, and this is the best kind. I hope you are as happy as I have with by darling Birdy.”

We thank him and make our way back to the pack house. After brushing our teeth and taking care of our other morning needs, we head to Foxglove Avenue.

The enormous truck is just arriving as we get there. The company we use is a wolf owned company, and they are great at the last minute orders. Wolves go through a lot of furniture, so they hold a lot of stock. Max had texted me at midnight to say that they had ordered everything, and the email confirming the order and deliver arrived just after.

Screaming girls heralds the arrival of Amanda and my friends. All three boys give me a very hasty k**s before running for their lives. “I’ll remember this, you three!”

Within seconds, I am surrounded by the three she-wolves. My hand is held so tightly that I worry I may never be able to use it again. The commentary on how lovely my ring is overlapped by questions of how they proposed.

Amanda’s knowledge of the proposal makes me suspicious. I narrow my eyes at her, but she is all innocence.

I send the girls to help direct the furniture into the right house and rooms, and grab Amanda’s hand as she moves to follow. “Do you have something to tell me, Amanda?”

Wow, she has the ‘I have no clue what you are talking about!’, I death stare her.

“really sweetie, I don’t know what you are talking about.”

“Amanda, just give it up. You couldn’t keep a secret if your life depended on it.”

“Andrew shush, you have no idea what we are talking about.”

“Really? So you didn’t disappear last night, and I didn’t find you hiding in the clearing, spying on your son’s?” She looks at him blankly. “Star, I had to throw her over my shoulder and carry her home.”

Trying so hard not to laugh at the image of Amanda’s a*s in the air, while the sneak away, I look over at my future husbands.

“Did you guys know we had a peeping Amanda last night?”

“Mother, that’s awful. I am so utterly unsurprised, and to be honest, Alexei saw you get carried off by dad, a*s up in the air. Hair all over the place, goddess, the things you will do for gossip woman.”

She stares at Ace with a scowl, then Lex gives his two cents, “got to say dad your timing was impeccable as always, a few minutes more and we all got naked, the things that happened in that rose heart, all I can say is, WOW.”

Ashton laughs, “I was picking petals out of my…..”

“ASHTON RAVENWOOD DONT YOU DARE FINISH THAT SENTENCE,” Amanda’s face is so red I can feel the heat from a metre away.

My grin is so big, god I love my family. “Come on, bitches, get to work.”
