Hey loves! If you don't know, Colby has a girlfriend, so this is her introduction. Out of complete respect for her and their relationship, I won't be using her real name. You guys know I don't ship Sam and Colby as people and I honestly hope the best for Colby and his girlfriend. So yeah! Enjoy!

Through out the previous month Colby had met a girl. Someone who seemed to genuinely love him, for him. She worked at a coffee shop; while Colby only ever had coffee on trips, he went there every morning, when she worked. Just to see her.
On the second day going to the coffee shop, he learned her name, Gabriella.
He learned her schedule too, how she only worked on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Safe to say Colby really liked this girl. And Sam could tell. Every morning he would wake up early and drive to the coffee shop, then he would come back around two hours later. Talking on and on about her, being sweet and nice and pretty. (Yapperrr)
Sam just smiled, he knew that this was him about Kat when they had first met, so he let Colby be that way about Gabi.
On the fourth day Colby came home giggling like a middle school girl, "I GOT HER NUMBER!" he shouted, skipping around the living room. Sam smiled and let him gush about her.
Two weeks later, they had filmed with The Boys and were in a hotel room. Colby abruptly got up and flung his phone to the ground, jumping around. (His poor phone is really getting attacked at this point)
"I ASKED HER TO BE MY GIRLFRIEND! AND SHE SAID YESSS!" Colby gasped, jumping over to Sam giddily. Once again Sam smiled, congratulated him, and watched him bound around like a little puppy.
~
Today Sam was meeting Gabi, she was interested in meeting her boyfriend's best friend. She had heard about Colby's career and watched some of their videos. So she wasn't completely (it took me like ten minutes to think of the English word, oblivious, there's a phrase in French like it but I couldn't remember the English word)Â oblivious.
"Sam we're home! You decent?" Colby shouted, laughing slightly.
"I'm in here, you dumbass!" Sam rolled his eyes, from the living room couch. Colby walked in, his hand trailing behind him, where a girl stood.
She was about 5'5, short curly hair, with blond streaking down from her scalp. Light makeup covering her olive skin, round glasses sitting on the bridge of her nose. She was wearing an oversized hoodie, that looked like Colby's, baggy cargo pants, and combat boots. She looked sweet, kind of cute, but not Sam's type. (cus his type is Colby-)
"Hi." She smiled, brushing her hand against Colby's anxiously. Sam smiled, and got off of his seat on the couch.
"Hi!" Sam said, grinning and holding out his hand to greet her. She grabbed it willingly, her were nails painted black and white, her hands were soft and gentle. Gabi looked cautiously at Colby, before sitting down on the couch.
They all talked for a bit, laughing as the awkward tension flowed away. Sam learned, Gabi was 24, she spoke English and Spanish, was born in Costa Rica, she had a cat named Pico, and she LOVED ghosts. So her and Colby were pretty good together. They seemed to have a really sweet dynamic too.
Gabriella had started cuddling close to Colby, tiredly tucking her head in the crook of his neck. She wasn't asleep, Colby could tell, but she was calm.
"So?" Colby asked, looking at his best friend for approval.
"I think she's awesome, you seem to really like her, you too are really sweet." Sam smiled, "Just don't forget about me babes, I know you love me."
Colby shook his head, laughing slightly, "I won't Sam, when she leaves, we can make out, don't worry." Sam laughed at that, pulling up is phone and scrolling through instagram.
Colby felt Gabi start to shift in his arms, looking up at his face. She grinned slightly, before pushing herself up. "I think I'm gonna' go make something I'm 'ungry." She mumbled, getting up off of the couch. Colby nodded, and decided to get up and go with her.
They reached the kitchen and she open the fridge. Gabi loved to cook, it was one of her hobbies, she planned on opening a restaurant one day. She grabbed whatever she thought she could make something with, placing the things on the counter. It was around 1 pm, but she had stayed up until around 2 am, worried about meeting Sam.
After a couple of minutes she started to speak, "I feel really bad asking this," she started, thinking carefully about her words. "I just- I can't help but feel kind of jealous when you talk to Sam like that." Colby looked at her shocked, but he completely understood. (I was gonna make her homophobic, but Colby wouldn't date someone like that, plus she gives major bi vibes.)
"I am so sorry! I should have thought about that! I can talk to him-" Colby scrambled, looking worried.
"No no, I mean, I know you guys to it for videos, and you guys are best friends, so there really is no reason I should care, especially cause I do the same things with my friends. But I just can't help feeling slightly jealous. I just wanted you to know, I don't want you to have to stop, I just... wanted to be honest." She said, looking down, seeming more and more interested in the food she was cooking.
Colby smiled, "I get that, I'll keep it to a minimum around you, I'll talk to him, thanks for mentioning it to me babe." She looked up and smiled, thanking Colby with her eyes.
(Btw, you should really talk to your partner if you feel jealous or uncomfortable, and this ^ is how that convo should go! Honestly and understanding.)
She continued to cook, talking about random things with Colby, laughing and smiling with him.
"That smells amazing, Gabi! What in the world is it?" Sam smiled, walking into the room, taking in the aroma. Gabi smiled.
"Chorreadas! They're like a corn pancake, normally served for breakfast, but I'm making them savory!" Gabriella smiled, flipping the pancake in the pan. (I fucking love chorreadas)
"That sounds fucking awesome, I'm starving." He said, sitting a seat away from Colby, saving the other seat for Gabi.
Gabi giggled, she shook her head and started to plate the chorreadas. Setting two on a plate with rice, beans, and grilled chicken. She made three plates and gave them to the boys, before walking over and sitting in the chair between them. They were silently munching on the food, enjoying every bite. Before Colby broke the silence.
"I chose the right damn girlfriend, this is amazing Gabs!" He said, his mouth still full. Sam nodded in agreement, stuffing his face with more food.
"Glad you guys like it!" She smiled, picking up a glass of water she had gotten earlier, and letting the cold water fill her mouth. They sat there chatting about anything, filling the room with laughter.
Eventually after playing games and watching movies, Gabi decided to leave. It was around 10 pm, everyone said their goodbyes. Colby walked her to the door, kissing her lightly before waving goodbye. She kissed back before walking to her car and driving off.
Colby stood at the door, smiling dumbly at the spot she had previously parked in. He grinned to himself, before shutting the door and walking into the living room. He collapsed on he couch, and sighed contently.
"That was fun, I like her. You chose a good partner." Sam said, looking at Colby softly. Colby flushed at the word 'partner'. Knowing he wasn't "straight", not knowing if Sam knew, or was just being respectful. Either way it made Colby smile at his words. His heart ached, and he didn't know why. But he was also happy, so that overshadowed the slight pain.
"By the way Sam, I wanted to talk to you about something," Colby started, remembering his and Gabi's conversation. "Could we, maybe not flirt so much. At least not around Gabs, she told me it made her slightly jealous. She has nothing against you but-"
"Yeah, that's fine Colbs, whatever makes her feel comfortable." Sam cut him off, looking up into his eyes, his face slightly red, and his smile evident, even just looking at his eyes.
"Okay... thanks. We can do it in videos and even when she's around, as long as we're not like making out 'r something. That's basically what she told me earlier."
"Cool! So, can we make out now? Since she's not here?" Sam sneered, giggling slightly.
Colby's face burned red, as his mouth broke into a grin. "I mean- technically..." They both grinned, calmed by each other's presence.
~
"It's been a little." the familiar voice echoed, in the back of Colby's mind.
"Don't please, I'm happy now!" Colby pled with the shadowy figure.
"I don't think so babes." Â The voice using 'babes' made Colby shiver, he only ever really used that with Sam or anyone he was close with, hearing that from the figure made his blood run cold.
(TW starts around here)
"Stop. Please!" Colby shouted, but his voice seemed to be muffled, and the figure walked forward, a smiled played at its lips.
The figure crept farther, grasping Colby's arms, putting its face in the crook of his neck, breathing harshly.
Colby tried to scream, but nothing came out of his mouth, he couldn't move. He couldn't breathe. He was trapped.
The voice, gripping Colby's shoulders, started to kiss him, tightening its grip.
Colby just stood there, terrified and shaking. Unable to move his arms or legs. He felt helpless, and lost.
Then the shadow pushed Colby back, and he fell.
(TW ends)
He was back where he was when he fell in the first strange dream he had experienced.
The field.
"You okay? Did it hurt you again?" A voice said, scaring Colby slightly.
"It's okay hun, I'm right here." The person said, this time Colby registered his voice, it was Sam.
"Help..." Colby muttered out softly, starting to sob slightly.
"It's okay babes, I'm right here." Sam cooed quietly, rubbing Colby's back. "I won't hurt you."
~
Colby woke up in a cold sweat, tears running down his face. He was slightly shaking, as he peeled himself off of his bed. He checked his phone, it was 2 am. He sighed, rubbing his eyes. Walking over to his bathroom to clean himself up.
He splashed his face with cold water, brining his senses back. He shuddered thinking of his dream, and splashed more water in his face. Cupping his hands over his cheeks lightly. He walked back into his room, changing into less sweaty clothes.
He took one look at his bed, and grabbed a blanket and pillow. Shaking his head of the thought to going back to bed.
He walked out, looking at Sam's door. He sighed, knocking lightly, knowing he would have to deal with the repercussions of sleeping there, later. The door was slightly ajar. He peered into his best friends room. Looking at the boy sleeping peacefully. He smiled, setting is pillow and blanket down, curling up on the carpeted room. Remembering dream-Sam's words.
Letting himself fall back into sleep. This time, safely.
