Tay smiled as he stared at New who was half naked beside him. New stirred and shifted his position, scooting close to Tay.
Tay touched the bruise on New's neck and giggled. It had been long since he last marked him so he grabbed the opportunity last night and made as many marks as possible.
New slowly opened his eyes and smiled at him.
"Good morning," he muttered and hugged New closer, snuggling him as he placed a light kiss on his head.
"Morning," New replied in a husky voice.
"How are you feeling?" he asked and brushed New's hair. "I hope I wasn't that rough last night."
New chuckled and hit his chest lightly.
"I'm fine. My foot just hurts a bit, but I'm good."
He snickered as he remembered what happened last night. They accidentally tripped as they made their way to the bed and New almost cried because of the pain on his foot.
"Shouldn't we get ready? I'm supposed to go back to work today," New muttered.
"Tsss. Don't worry about work. You won't be terminated. And if you do, you can always work at mine."
"Tsss. As if I'd be able to work properly if I'm there."
He chuckled and hugged New tighter.
"Well, we can always sort our priorities. Let's sleep some more. I know you're tired."
New just snickered but hugged him back.

New ogled at Tay's hand which was reaching out to him.
"Come on. Don't be scared."
"I'm not! It's just I haven't ridden one before," he complained.
Earlier, a strange sound woke him up and found out that Tay had rented a jetski for them.
"Then, come on, okay. Hold my hand."
He rechecked his life jacket before grabbing Tay's hand.
"Be careful with your foot."
"Are you sure you can operate this one?" he asked as he carefully sat behind Tay.
"Don't worry, okay? You're in safe hands," Tay replied and revved the engine.
He grabbed Tay's waist tightly as the latter started to accelerate.
"Hey! Don't drive too fast!" he exclaimed as the waters hit his legs.
"Come on! Let go and shout!" Tay replied and drove faster.
"Noo. I might fall!"
"Oh come on! Trust me, you won't!"
"Holy shit Tay Tawan!!" he shouted as Tay drove even faster but then let go of Tay's waist. He raised his hands over his head and screamed at the top of his lungs.
"WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" his throat hurt but he didn't care.
He laughed as Tay made a left turn and he shrieked when they almost tipped over.
"TAAAY!"
But instead, Tay just laughed at him and egged him even more to give his loudest scream. He noticed that the people by the beach were looking at them, but he didn't care.
He was having so much fun to give a damn about them.
Tay laughed when he shouted again.
"Come on! Make it louder!"
"WOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
Tay then decreased the speed of the jetski and looked back at him.
"See? It's fun!"
He just grinned at him and continued shouting.
Tay then increased their speed and he held his waist tightly again.
"Thanks Tay!" he exclaimed before placing his chin on Tay's shoulder.

New's forehead furrowed when they stopped by what seemed to be an island.
Tay helped him get off the vehicle and led him towards a picnic setup. There were several food, ranging from sweets to fruits to proper food as what Tay called it.
"Tsss. What's with you? And when did you set this up?" he asked as he sat on the picnic blanket.
Tay chuckled and sat beside him.
"Well, you said your vacation is uneventful so I just wanna make sure that you come back to work without regrets."
He grabbed a piece of cupcake and smudged Tay's nose with the icing.
"Hey!" Tay complained but he just laughed. However, he stopped laughing when Tay smudged his nose as well.
"Taaay," he whined but immediately stopped when Tay licked the icing on his nose.
"Can you stop being so cute? or else I won't be able to resist you," Tay muttered to which he answered with a nose scrunch.

They spent the entire day under the sun, playing with the water and watching several fishes. Tay even taught him how to navigate the jetski and he could only laugh when they almost tipped over when he drove it.
His skin was getting red from the heat of the sun, but he didn't really care. All he knew was that it was one of the happiest days of his life and being with Tay was definitely something he loved the most about this vacation.
"Did you have fun?" Tay asked as they were making their way back to the yacht.
"Yeah. But I could have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for my foot," he complained as his sprain was such a great disadvantage. He couldn't even run after Tay who would splash him with water every chance he got.
"But at least, it's something worth remembering, right?"
He smiled at Tay and nodded.
"Yeah. It is."

"Earth left these," Apple said when they went back to their room.
Tay grabbed New's bags from Apple and went inside, New closely following behind.
He made New sit on the bed and called the staff for some cold compress.
"So, you just totally left me here without even telling me where you went. Gosh Tay you better pay my expenses," Apple ranted as she sat on the couch.
"Fine. You don't have to worry about anything," he rolled his eyes at her.
He then went to open the door when the buzzer rang.
"Thank you," he muttered as he got the ice pack from the staff.
He then approached New and carefully applied the cold compress on his foot. It was still slightly swelling but it was almost unnoticeable.
"Does it hurt?" he asked as he gently pressed the ice pack on New's foot.
"No, not that much."
"When the swelling subsides, you can apply hot compress already, okay? Or you can stay in my unit whilst you're recovering."
"Tsss. Come on. The swelling isn't that visible and I can walk already, okay? There's no need to fret."
They both turned their heads when they heard Apple screamed.
"URGGHH! You're both making me feel so fucking single! I hate you both!"
She then stormed out of the room and slammed the door behind her.

Tay sat on the sofa while scanning through the photos he took with New during their vacation.
He just came back from sending New and Apple home. He could still hear Apple's words in the backseat as they drove.
"Oh come on. I'm single as it is. Can you just drive and stop staring at each other like you're a newly married couple? And Tay, please place your hands on the steering wheel. You're driving the car not New. Geez. I've never felt so alone until now."
He smiled when he came across the photo of New sleeping beside him. The bruises on his body were visible and he couldn't help but giggle as he remembered what happened.
He frowned when he saw Apple calling.
"What?"

"Tss. What do you want?"
Aren't you gonna tell me what happened when you left me out of the blue??"
"Tsss. That's invasion of privacy."

He froze.
"Uuuhm. I did - I did not?"
What the hell do you mean by that?! So are you boyfriends or what?

"I mean, I guess we're boyfriends? I mean he responded to my kisses and we did it for the second time. So I guess that means we're together?"

"Urgh! This is seriously stressing me out!" Tay closed his laptop aggressively out of frustration.
He couldn't even come up with an idea on how to confess to New.
He spent his weekend coming up with an idea but nothing came to his mind.
He tried searching for ideas online but Apple just ranted at him for about an hour telling him that he shouldn't recycle some overused ways on the net.
"Sir? Are you okay?"
His assistant Pluem asked him as he placed a cup of coffee on his table.
"Will you be my boyfriend?"
"S-sir??"
"Urrrgh! See that question's gonna freak him out!"
"Sir, are you okay?"
"Do you have a boyfriend? I-I mean a girlfriend."
He saw how Pluem blushed.
"Yes, Sir."
"How did you confess?"
"Huh? Well, I just asked her to be my girlfriend, Sir."
"Like how did you do it? Where? And what do you do if she says no?"
"Huh, Sir. I-."
He was supposed to interrogate Pluem even more when his phone rang.
He frowned when he saw it was Apple.

"Wait, what?" New asked in confusion as Gunsmile handed him a piece of paper the moment he went to work on a Monday morning.
"You're being terminated from your position."
He immediately scanned the notice and read that his contract with the company had just been terminated for being absent without notice.
His lips quivered when he saw Earth's signature at the bottom of the paper.
With shaking hands, he went to his office to confront him.
"Earth," he called his name the moment he entered the room. "What's this??"
He slammed the paper on his table whilst Earth just looked uninterestingly at him.
"You've read it. I suppose you know how to comprehend."
"Why are you terminating me? I mean, for being absent without notice? You're the one who dragged me out to some unannounced vacation grande," he spat out. His voice laced with sarcasm.
"Yes. But you exceeded the number of days you're supposed to be on vacation."
"Oh come on. Seriously? I'm talking to the main office about this. Your grandfather is the one who has the last say about this."
As if on cue, Earth slid another piece of paper on the table.
"He already signed a corrigendum."
He grabbed the paper and read it. His hand tightened on the paper when he saw their head's signature at the bottom.
"I hate you, Earth," he muttered as he threw the piece of paper at him and stormed out of his office.

Tay tried calling New for the nth time but he was not answering.
He looked out of his car window and muttered a low curse when he saw how heavy the traffic was.
"Urgh. Like seriously?"
It was still early in the morning so people were rushing to go to work thus the traffic jam.

He tapped the send button and hoped New would reply to his message.
"Oh shit," he muttered and hit the steering wheel.
Apple calling...
Have you found him?
"No, not yet. Do you have any idea where he could be?"
No. We're not that close to know each other's safe place. Have you gone to his unit?
"Yeah, but he's not there."
Okay. I'll call some people to ask his whereabouts, too. You could try going to his mother's shop. He might be there. Please notify me once you see him.
"Urgh. I really shouldn't haveâ, okay okay. Thank you, Apple, for everything."
Oh geeezz. No worries. You still owe me bags. But of course, know that I support you two though I feel so fucking single every time I'm with you.
He chuckled upon hearing Apple's words. Who would have thought that she'd become their confidant.
Okay, I gotta go. The planet is calling me to his office. Take care... you still haven't given me my bags.
He grinned as he heard beeping sounds from the other line indicating that the call had ended.
He heaved a sigh of relief when the traffic started moving again. He glanced at his phone but still there was no reply from New.
"Hin... I'm sorry. Where are you?" he whispered to himself.
