Xandar
"Xandarians. What a bunch of losers" Rocket starts while spying on other Xandarians. "All of them in a big hurry to get from something stupid, to nothing at all. Pathetic" he said.
He looks around.
"Look at this guy! Can you believe they call us criminals, when he's assaulting us with that haircut?" he said, referring to the Xandarian man with short blond hair walking on the sidewalk.
He looks around again and spotted a Xandarian kid.
"What is thing? Look how it thinks it's so cool. It's not cool to get help! Walk by yourself, little gargoyle" he yelled but no one heard him as he referring to the small Xandarian child getting help whilst walking.
He looks around again and spotted an old Xandarian man, flirting with a young and pretty woman.
"Look at Mr. Smiles over here. Where's your wife, old man? What a class-A pervert" he said, referring to the older Xandarian man chatting up a pretty woman, flirting.
He laughs at his own jokes.
"Right, Groot?" no response was given to him. "Groot?" he turns just to see Groot drinking water nearby fountain.
"Don't drink that fountain water, you idiot. That's disgusting!" Rocket said, making a disgusted face.
Groot shakes is head, pretending he didn't drink it.
"Yes, you did. I just saw you doing it. Why are you lying?" Rocket said while swaying his hands open from his sides.
Groot just look down, ashamed.
Rocket's tablet starts beeping, warning a him of a human sighting. Rocket's smile widened as he checked his tablet.
"Whoop. Looks like we got one. Okay, humie, how bad does someone want to find you?" he said to himself while grinning like an idiot.
His tablet shows Peter talking to Bereet, (Y/N) wasn't in sight. Rocket sees that there's a bounty on Peter. His eyes widened wide opened.
"40,000 units?! Groot, we're gonna be rich!!" Rocket cheered but stopped when he sees Groot drink the water fountain again.
Rocket sighed and shakes his head. Thinking how idiot his partner could be.
Then, Rocket's tablet began to beeping again. Rocket pulled up his tablet in front of his face and saw (Y/N) walked towards Peter and Bereet, handing them some drinks.
"Another 40,000 units?! Groot, we're gonna be double rich!" he cheered, ignoring Groot who was still drinking the water fountain.
But Rocket hasn't stopped watching his tablet. Not because of the bounts. Not because of the prices. It's because of (Y/N).
He somehow just can't take his eyes of her. There's something about her that made Rocket felt something. Rocket himself, couldn't figure what it was so he just shrugged it off and made some preparations.
Later
Peter and (Y/N) enters a shop in Xandar and are greeted by the Broker, the owner of the place.
"Mr. Quill" the Broker spoke, greeted Peter. He turned to you. "Ms. Quill"
"Broker. The orb" Peter said, holding out the orb and places it on the counter in front of the Broker. "As commissioned" Peter said happily.
(Y/N) just grinned beside him. Looking how happy he is, making her happy too.
"Where's Yondu?" the Broker asked, looking behind the both Quills just to found no one was there.
"Wanted to be here, sends his love. And told me to tell you, that you got the bet eyebrows in the business" Peter lied and quickly complimented him.
The Broker just scoffed a the compliment.
"What is it?" (Y/N) asked him politely.
"It's my policy to never discuss my clients or their needs" he replied, while preparing some units on his counter.
"Yeah, well, we almost died getting it for you" Peter replied.
(Y/N) found anger in his voice but didn't question him.
"An occupational hazard, I'm sure, in your line of work" the Broker said, looking at Peter before continue to counting the units that was on his table.
"Some kind of machine-head freak, working for a dude named Ronan" (Y/N) said.
"Ronan?" the broker looked shocked at the both Quills and quickly walked out is counter. "I'm sorry Mr and Ms. Quill, I truly am" he continue to walk to both of the Quills.
The Broker grabbed the orb and pushed it to Peter's chest as Peter took it in his hand.
"But I don't want no part in this transaction if Ronan was involved!" he started to pushed both of the Quills to the door.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH!!!" the both Quills yelled as the Broker kept on pushing them.
"Who's Ronan?" Quills asked the Broker as he stopped pushing them and began to introduce him.
"A Kree fanatic, outrage by the peace treaty, who will not rest until Xandarian culture, MY CULTURE, is wiped from existence!" he said and began to push them again. (Y/N) found panicked in hi voice but shrugged it off.
"WHOA WHOA! COME ON!!" Peter yelled t him but he didn't stop.
"He's someone whose bad side I'd rather not be on!" he panicked as the quills was almost at the door.
"What?! What about our bad sides?!" (Y/N) yelled asked him.
"Farewell Mr and Ms. Quills" the Broker said and pushed the two out of his shop and closes the door right on their faces.
Peter became furious as(Y/N) the same but was hard to show it.
"HEY! WE HAD A DEAL BRO!!" Peter yelled at the closed door.
Then the Quills noticed there was a green skinned woman, leaning on the wall while licking something.
"What happened?" she asked.
"Ah, this guy just backed out a deal on me - us" (Y/N) answered her.
"If there's one thing I hate, it's the man without integrity" Peter said after (Y/N).
(Y/N) looked at him strangely and was about to say something but was stopped when Peter introduced himself.
"Peter Quill, people call me Star-Lord" Peter introduced himself but didn't introduce his sister who was rolling her eyes.
"And I'm (Y/N) Quill, Iris" (Y/N) said after Peter.
Peter glared at (Y/N) which (Y/N) replied the same at him.
"You have a bearing of a man of honor" the green lady said, completely ignored (Y/N).
"Well, you know, I wouldn't say that. People said all about me, all the time.." he started to throw the orb in the air and catch it again with his hand, trying to impress the unknown woman.
Gamora slowly walked towards Peter which gave (Y/N) some feeling that something will go wrong.
".. but it's not something that I would ever say about myself-" Peter got interrupted by Gamora who snatches the orb away from Peter's grasp.
She then kick Peter on the stomach and quickly ran away from Quills. Peter just grunts and hold his injured stomach. While Gamora is running away, she pushes away Xandarians people out of her way which caused the people to fell on the ground.
(Y/N) held out a metal ball with a red glowing stripped in the middle and threw it at Gamora. The ball turned into some kind of glowing lastic and snatched Gamora's ankle which caused her to fall and the orb was out of her grasp.
Peter and (Y/N) ran to Gamora who was struggling to get out from the lastic but she managed. (Y/N) jumped at Gamora but got kicked on the chest as she landed beside Gamora with a grunt.
Peter took this chance and grabbed the orb and ran away, searching for a place to hide.
(Y/N) began to fight Gamora who was kept on giving (Y/N) kicks and punches. They were still laying on the ground.
Gamora then got on top (Y/N) and took her knife above her head. (Y/N) was about to take her blasters but Gamora put her thighs beside (Y/N)'s arms and tightly trapped her on the ground.
"This wasn't the plan" Gamora said and was about to brought her knife to (Y/N)'s face but was saved by a...
RACCOON?
"Put her in the bag! Put her in the bag!" Rocket orders Groot but Groot grabbed Gamora instead of (Y/N).
"No! Not her! Her!" Rocket said while pointing at (Y/N) who was still processing the situation.
Gamora fought the raccoon and the tree as Rocket got on top of her head, trying to not get off her.
"OW! BITING?! THAT'S NOT FAIR!!" Rocket complained, still on top of her head.
(Y/N) took this opportunity to run away as she saw her brother was waiting for her to catch up with him.
"Geez! I didn't even hear a 'thank you'" (Y/N) jokingly said to Peter as they kept on ran away.
The brother laughed at the joke and thanked her after. (Y/N) are now a little bit satisfied.
Gamora got out from Groot's grasps and threw Rocket away from her head. She then took the knife that was on the ground and focusing at Peter's hand.
She threw the knife and it hit Peter's hand which caused him to let go of the orb.
"OW!" Peter groaned.
"OMG! Peter! Are you okay?!" (Y/N) asked her dear brother concernly.
Without they notice, the orb fall down the level that they was on and landed at the level below them.
Gamora extended her knife as a sword and attacked Groot then ran before Groot could grab her again.
Gamora jumped off the level and landed at the level that has the orb. She saw the orb and grabbed it before running to her dear life.
As Gamora still running, she saw Peter jumped off the level and landed on top of Gamora. They both groaned.
Gamora get on top of Peter, chocking him and hide the orb behind her back.
"Fool. You should have learned" Gamora said to Peter.
"I don't learn, one of my issues" Peter replied to her as (Y/N) grabbed the orb that was behind Gamora.
Peter took one of his rockets and set it on Gamora's waist. Gamora went flying to the side and ended up in the pool.
(Y/N) went beside her brother and grin widely.
"Nice one" (Y/N) complimented her brother.
Peter was about to replied (Y/N) but a huge sack went over their heads and trapped them in the sack.
"What the..." both of the Quills said before they were trapped inside of the sack.
"Quit smiling, you idiot. You're supposed to be a professional" Rocket said.
Groot set the sack of two people on his shoulder and walked behind Rocket. Rocket gasped a little when he saw Gamora approaching.
"You got to be kidding me.." Rocket said before got pushed in the head by wet Gamora. "Ooh, HEY!" he yelled but ended up on the ground because of the pushing.
Gamora starting to cut off Groot's arms off using her sword. The sack fell on the ground which the siblings groaned in sudden pain.
After chopping off Groot's arms, Gamora approaches the sack and opened it but got stunned by (Y/N).
Gamora fell once again on the ground and passed out. Peter and (Y/N) got out the sack and ran opposite direction.
Rocket watches they run and pulled out his big ass gun and pointed at the Quills.
"I live for the simple things. Like how much this is gonna hurt" Rocket said before blast some electric balls at the Quills and made them yelled in pain and fell on the ground.
Rocket laughed at them who got electrocuted.
"Yeah. Writhe, little man" Rocket said, not paying attention to the Nova Corps that were approaching.
Rocket looked at Groot who was kicking his arms that were on the ground.
"It'll grow back, you d'ast idiot. Quit whining" Rocket said to Groot.
But just then, they were lifted off the ground and Rocket immediately knew what happened. The sound of rumblings were all over the place.
"Subject 89P13, drop your weapon" the Nova pilot said through the speaker.
"Aw.. Crap.." Rocket said as he dropped his weapon to the ground, still being lifted up.
"By the authority of Nova Corps, you are under arrest" the pilot said again. "For endangerment to life and the destruction of property"
"Okay, come on up" Dey said while grabbing Peter's arms to lift him up.
(Y/N) did the same but the guy lifted her up softly.
"Hey! If it isn't Star-Prince!" Dey said confidentally.
Peter sighs. His hope was just high at that time.
"Star-Lord" Peter corrected him.
"Oh, sorry. 'Lord'" Dey corrected himself.
"I picked this guy up a while back for a petty theft" Dey said to his partner who was holding (Y/N) softly. "He's got a code name"
The partner just scoffed.
"Come on, man. It's a.. It's an outlaw name" Peter defended himself.
"Just relax pal. It's cool to have a code name. It's not that weird" Dey said and patted Peter from back. "Like Iris here, her code name is cool" Dey reffering to (Y/N).
"Oh! Thank you!" (Y/N) thanked Dey.
"Seriously? You remember her code name but you didn't even remember mine? WE BASICALLY DID EVERYTHING TOGETHER!" Peter yelled in jealous.
The three of them laughed as Peter remained silent in anger, walking to jail.
"Facist" Rocket said as Gamora just got lifted up.
