Kyle's POV:
The problem we were dealing with was waking Tiffany up, why you may ask? Well it's cause everything was floating in the air. I was right when I said the elementaret is starting to consume her. We call her name a few times but nothing is working.
"Callum get a glass of water! Now!" Tyler demands, Callum raises a brow,
"Now's not the time for a drink." He says and I roll my eyes,
"Not for a drink idiot. Just get the water." I snap and he gets to work rushing to the kitchen.
"Tiffany! Wake up!" Tyler calls shaking her shoulders, but she doesn't wake up.
Callum soon comes running into the room with the glass of water. I take it off him and nod at Tyler, then I throw the water on her. Making her jolt awake, as soon as her eyes open, they're glowing that neon blue again. So I was right this was the elementaret's doing.
"Tiffany." Tyler says cautiously trying not to scare her, her eyes slowly start to go back to normal and then everything drops back to the floor making a loud bang, including the bed. She blinks a few times and looks around her, "Are you ok? Do you remember what happened?"
"What happened?" She asks sounding confused, looking at her surroundings.
"The elementaret is starting to consume you. Straight in the morning your practicing to lift water again, then I'll show you something new."
She blinks her eyes a few times and looks around, "What are you even going on about?" Her voice groggy from sleep.
"Never mind him. Are you feeling ok?" Tyler asks, sitting beside her on the bed.
"Yea, I'm just really tired."
Tiffany's POV:
What happened? Most importantly why don't I have any clothes on? I look to Tyler and then to Kyle and Callum.
"What happened?" I ask confused. Last thing I remember was being in the shower.
"The elementaret is starting to consume you. Straight in the morning your practicing to lift water again. then I'll show you something new." Kyle tells me, I blink a few times trying to figure out what the hell he's going on about.
"What are you even going on about?" I ask him, my voice groggy from sleep. I'm fighting just to keep my eyes from closing,
"Never mind him. Are you feeling ok?" Tyler asks sitting next to me on the bed and places his hand on my forehead, pushing my hair back gently,
"Yea, I'm just really tired." I tell him and he nods.
"Ok, well we'll let you rest. I'll bring you up some pancakes later, ok?" I smile and nod,
"Thanks Ty."
"No worries." He says and kisses the top of my head. Hearing Kyle groan in the process. "Get some rest."
With that they all left the room except Kyle.
"Tiff."
"Conaway." I say in a flat tone,
"What happened? Really. Before you blacked out?" He asks me and I try to think back to what happened,
"Well I started to feel dizzy. Then black dots started to take over my vision. I remember turning the shower off and getting out and that's it." I tell him and he nods, "Why do you care anyways Conaway?"
"Because I'm- we're just trying to help you out. I'm doing my best not to get you killed and consumed by the elementaret. And your training hasn't even been a day and your blacking out and your eyes are turning neon. Neon! Do you understand that this power wants to consume you? Do you want to see your family again?"
"That wasn't the question Conaway." I tell him in a quiet voice, closing my eyes, "Just go away."
In the morning when I wake up, as promised, Tyler brings me some of his amazing pancakes with banana and strawberries on them along with sugar. I smile at him when I see him enter the room again with a plate of his own and tells me to shuffle over so he can sit next to me.
"Thanks Ty. You really are the best." I say with a small laugh.
"Anything for you little-T."
I take a bite of my pancake and close my eyes taking in the delicious taste and they were delish.
"Jeez. What the hell is going on in here?" Kyle says storming in and ruining the perfect moment.
"Conaway. You really must be an idiot. Unlike you, your amazing brother made me some food to eat like he promised."
"Yea yea. He's amazing. Oh ma gosh your such a good cook, any girl will be lucky to have you. Oh ma gosh that girl could be me." Kyle says in a whiny girly voice and I have to stifle my giggles cause that is really funny.
"That soo doesn't sound like me for one." I say, "Two, I don't want to be that girl. Tyler's been a good friend since I've been here, unlike you. Maybe if you actually tried to be nice to me, I'd be nice to you."
"She's just my little-T,"
Kyle groans, "She's your nothing. Tyler have you not forgotten. We have a meeting in thirty minutes and your up here eating and flirting with your new bestie."
"Someone's jelly." I say with a laugh, making Tyler laugh too.
"I'm not jealous." Kyle says in a low tone,
"Oh, but it does sound like it Ky." Tyler says and I laugh.
"Enough. Tyler, let's go. Now!" Kyle demands and then he looks to me, "You. Go train. Right now."
"Yea yea. I get it Conaway. What's it this time? Get the dirt to fly." I say with sarcasm and he scowls,
"Lift the water, exactly how you did yesterday. Then you need to make the water move in a circle. Sound simple. Let's go." He says and leaves the room expecting us to follow. I look over to Tyler and he smiles down at me,
"Don't worry about him. He's just being grumpy. So when I get back, I'll teach you a new element. Kyle is being stubborn and making you learn water again, that will get boring easily. So yea, I'll be back within a few hours and if you need anything call me." He says, kissing the top of my head and exits my room.
Well isn't Tyler a cutey. Yea, definitely boyfriend material but he acts like my older brother... and I don't even have an older brother.
I spend my morning having a nice long shower, then I watch The Maze Runner with Dylan O'Brien in it and oh my gosh he is just amazing in any show or movie he's in and that does include Teen Wolf, my favourite TV series at the moment. After watching the movie and realising that there's going to be a sequel I squeal and pout because I really want to watch it. Then I decide to be brave and call up my family and my bestie, using the house phone that was in the living room. So I call Avery first,
"Hello?" She asks and I smile hearing her voice again, it seems like forever but when did I last call her... yesterday?
"Hey Avs. I miss you!" I say and suddenly she screams into the phone,
"Tiffany Veyne!! Get your ass home right now! Do you understand what you're putting both me and your family through? Huh?"
"Avery. Calm down. It's not like I wanted to leave in the first place. Look I only rang up to say hey but if your just going to yell and scream at me then I'm going to hang up and call back another day." I tell her, a tear slipping from my eye,
"I know. Tiffany, I really miss my best friend and I just need her to come home." She tells me, making another tear slip.
"I feel the same way. But you have to understand that I'll be home before you know it." I whisper, I hear her sigh,
"Tiffany, when are you coming home?" She asks quietly,
This is my turn to sigh, "I don't know. Hopefully soon. Listen you need to understand that I can't call you every day. I'll try my hardest to call but that's the best I can do. Ok?"
"Alright Tiffany. As long as I know you're ok, that's all that matters."
"Good. How is your relationship with Mia?" I ask her,
"Very good." She says, "You know Kyle is still missing from school, apparently he dropped out or something and it was barely a week." She says and I try not to laugh, cause I know exactly where Kyle is.
"Yea, very strange. Well gurl I kinda have to go, I promise I'll try call you again soon."
"Ok, talk later. Luv ya."
"Luv ya too." With that I hang up
I then quickly dial in my house phone number.
"Hello?" My mother asks, I don't say anything for a second holding back my tears,
"Mom."
"Tiffany? Oh my gosh Tiffany, sweetie. You need to come home your stressing me and everyone out. Where are you?" She rushes out, hearing a voice talking in the background,
"I'm safe if that's what your asking. Mom, I really don't want to fight with you, cause if you are I'm just going to hang up." I tell her, I hear her sigh,
"Sweetie, I don't want to fight with you either. We just want to see you and know you're safe."
"I'm safe mom. I promise you I am. I'll be home before you know it." I tell her,
"Sweetie, you told me that yesterday and you're telling me that today. Claire misses you, me and your father is stressing out-"
"Mom, please for me don't stress out. I want to come back to you guys being happy. As for Claire, can I talk to her?"
"Claire! Come here sweetie!" Mom calls out, soon I hear the small voice of my little sister,
"Tiffy! I miss you!"
"I miss you to sis. I really do." I tell her, I look up at the clock and notice the time. Kyle is going to kill me... not literally, "Sis, I have to go. I'll call back soon ok. Tell dad I say hello and that I miss him."
"Tiffy? Don't go-" She whines,
"I love you Claire." I hang up after that.
Concentrate Tiffany. Concentr- damn it.
After about half an hour later I was trying to do as Kyle told me to do. Yea lifting water while a breeze is in the air isn't so great. I lift the water and then the breeze just hits the water making it drop back into the pond.
I once again concentrate on the water while the breeze disappeared. It lifts and I concentrate on making the bubble move around and it does. I grin as I control the bubble in different directions, I still can't believe I can do this.
I soon get startled by the sound of someone clapping behind me, making me lose my concentration, and the water drop back in the pond with a loud splash, splashing on me. I turn and glare at the person and see Tyler, who's now laughing like a hyena.
"Are you an idiot? Now I'm soaking wet!" I exclaim, Tyler just keeps laughing.
"Little-T-" He cut himself off cause he's still laughing and couldn't get words out,
"You better run." I say in a warning tone. He doesn't take me seriously cause now he's laughing harder than before.
I start running towards him, making him more alert and then he's turns on his heel and starts running but being a soccer player I'm faster. I run until I'm right behind him and jump on his back making us tumble and roll around on the ground. When we stop tumbling I end up on my back with him on top of me, holding himself up on his elbows so his weight isn't on me. That makes us both start laughing. I push him off me lightly.
"You want to go get ice cream or something?" He asks me and I perk up at the sound of ice cream,
"As long as your paying." I say with a grin and he shakes his head with a grin of his own,
"Of course."
So after a long walk we arrive at the ice cream parlour. My eyes widen in happiness when we enter ice cream parlour. I look around at the retro decor. It was fairly nice and I just love the retro decor. I go to the ice cream window and instantly see the two flavours I want on my waffle cone.
"Hey Lucy!" Tyler says to the lady behind the counter, she smiles at him.
"Hey Ty! It's been a while." She then looks to me and smiles brightly, "You must be the famous Tiffany."
I feel my cheeks heat up at the mention of me being famous, "Yea. Nice to meet you." I say with a smile and she nods,
"You too. You're the talk of the town at the moment. Now what can I get you?" She asks in a cheery tone and Tyler is first to respond,
"Well, I'll have my usual."
"Coming up! And for you Tiffany?"
"I'll have a double scoop with boysenberry and rainbow ice cream in a waffle cone please." I tell her with a grin and she nods and starts scooping up the ice cream,
"So how do you like the town soo far?" Lucy asks me and I shrug,
"I haven't really seen much, but Callum did take me to the fair and haunted house. I haven't really been anywhere else."
"That's ok then, cause I'm taking you to the shopping center after this. We still need to get you new clothes." Tyler says making Lucy giggle,
"Always the charmer Tyler. Better look out for this one." She says with cheeky grin and Tyler shakes his head, Lucy hands over Tyler's cone and then hands me mine. Tyler goes to hand her the money but she shakes her head, "It's on the house today Ty."
"Aw Lucy, it's ok-"
"No Ty. It's fine really. Tiffany, I really do hope you like it here. Do be sure to come back and visit me anytime. Oh and welcome to Hollowstern Creek!" She tells me and I smile,
"Thanks Lucy. I really appreciate it." I tell her and then Tyler starts dragging me to one of the booths.
"So why is this place called Hollowstern Creek?" I ask Tyler as we take our seat,
"Well long story short, a girl went missing by the creek a long time ago. Never seen again."
"That doesn't explain why though." I say, licking my ice cream. And it was soo good too.
"Like I said it's a long story. Anyways, is there anything else you want to do before we head off to the mall?" He asks me and I shake my head,
"No. But Tyler I have no money to get anythi-"
"Little-T. Don't be silly, I'm paying." He says like it's nothing and I shake my head in protest.
"But-"
"No. Now finish up your ice cream. Then we can go shopping."
Tyler sounds like he's a little too excited about this shopping trip and that kinda worry's me.
When we arrive at the mall Tyler literally drags me around to all the stores, grabbing clothing items and shoves them in my arms telling me to try them on. I sigh, he's never going to let me go home empty handed.
So for the next for hours or so in different stores, Tyler sits down in the dressing room while I try on the clothes. Tyler either telling me it looks good or not soo good. Which I mostly agree with him. Most of the clothes he choose though was a yes and he brought them for me. Making me feel bad, but he keeps on insisting that it's fine.
We were finishing up looking around until Tyler spots the one place I dreaded to go to when I had company with me cause it's embarrassing and that place was Victoria's Secret.
"Come on Little-T, there's some really good stuff in there and plus there's a sale on." He convinces and I nod,
"Okay. But that makes me wonder why you would be looking in a lingerie store." Well that's not the only things Vicki's sell but that's what there known for.
"I used to go shopping with my past girlfriends. That's the number one store on their shopping list." He explains and I can't help but laugh lightly. Tyler does come off as the gentleman type.
As soon as we enter the store I head straight to the pj section, only to be pulled back by Tyler,
"Lingerie first and then pj's." He explains and I can't help but shake my head with a grin.
"Ok Tyler. We'll do things your way."
So we spent about twenty minutes mucking around and holding lingerie I would never wear against my body. Although the ones Tyler liked he kept in his hands and even to my complaints of not going to wear them, he wouldn't let me say no. I did pick out some nice lingerie though. So when we are done looking around Victoria's Secret we end up purchasing a few pairs of lingerie, pj's, sport clothes and a few swim suits. One's that I really like, not ones Tyler was joking around about and was too revealing.
On the ride home we were laughing and just talking about anything really. When we arrived back at his house it was late afternoon, as we enter the house we walk straight to the stairs to walk up to my room but then I notice a figure pacing in the living room, knowing it was Kyle.
"Where did you go?" Was the first question Kyle spoke and I raised a brow,
"Well, Tiffany was finished training so I took her out and showed her around. Then we went shopping. Why? Is there a problem?"
"Well you could have at least told me first." Kyle snaps and I take my chance and attempt to sneak out and up the stairs, "And where do you think your going missy. Your not off the hook either!"
"Up to my room." I say like it's obvious.
"Kyle, it's been a long day. Little-T go rest." Tyler says nodding up to the stairs. I nod and quickly go up the stairs,
"Again with the nicknames." I hear Kyle mutter before entering my room and closing the door behind me. Placing everything on the chair and prepare myself for a nice warm shower and a long sleep.

Sorry for the long wait guys. I've been busy with school and that so I haven't had much time to write this book. I'll try my best to update every week, but sometimes it'll have to be longer.
