Chapter 17 of 60

Frozen in time

Poems 287 words~1 min read

cursed to wander a land barren

a white sheet of history ice cold

conceals places you'll never know

you orient by memories of people long passed

touch your heart and see their lives

let the unknown be unknown but felt

you mourn the lost you've found

a faraway dream in your grasp

silent tears roll down your face

when you breathe in the freezing air

and return it all to the silent buildings

all around you you found nostalgic peace

now is the time to let go
