I look at all the gorgeous dresses, and I see the dressing rooms. I walk into one. The clean red carpet really matches the beige walls. The chandelier hanging from the ceiling lights the room in a perfect tone. The different mirrors really suit the room.

I notice someone in the mirror getting measured in a suit. Shit! I quickly left the dressing room, hoping they didn't see me. I walk up to the front desk and see Charlotte still arguing with the front desk lady.

"I said I bought it last year. Why, the hell, would I buy another subscription when I made the appointment last year and paid a full year's worth of subscription just to get one appointment?"

"I'm sorry, Ma'am, but I have you down for next year."

I look at a gorgeous black dress. It's the best-looking dress I've ever seen. I look at the price tag. Damn, five thousand for this rag?

"You there. Girl in the saggy clothes. You can't touch the dresses unless you have paid the subscription for the year's worth," I roll my eyes and walk next to Charlotte.

"Charlotte, let's just leave."

"No. Evangeline, I want this to be the best birthday ever, and how can I not spoil you when you've done so much for me?"

"What seems to be the problem here?" I look next to me and see Mr. Winters standing there. I jump.

"Motherfucker," I mumble under my breath.

"Did I scare you, Mrs. Stone?" I cross my arms and stare him down.

"Try me, Mr. Winters," I stare at him down as he looks me up and down. He chuckles.

"Excuse me, but if you two are done gawking at each other. Can you tell this lady I paid a full year's subscription just to shop ONE day here? She's saying that I booked the wrong year when I booked this year on this day appointment last year."

"I have paid the full amount of a year to go shopping. The lady says I can't because I don't have an appointment when the appointment is today on my card. My card says I have the right to shop here today because I have already paid in advance," I see Mr. Winters look at Charlotte and the lady.

"Hmm, I see. Do you have the receipt?"

"Yes. I actually have the receipt," Charlotte digs in her bag, pulls out a crumpled piece of paper, and hands it to Mr. Winters.

"It seems, from here, you have paid for a year's worth of shopping. We don't have a subscription for a year's worth of shopping. We only give out monthly subscriptions. The amount you've been charged for is out of range and ridiculous."

"I will refund you the rest of the amount and give you a ten percent discount for anything you buy on the first floor. This is the second time this happened. It is also the second time I've told you about overcharging customers. You're fired, Gina," I see Gina's face shocked, and my eyes widen.

"But, Sir-!" I hear Mr. Winters say nothing to Gina.

"You can't fire her! I won't allow it!" Mr. Winters looks at me.

"Why not?"

"Firing her will not satisfy the customer, and you wouldn't want to not satisfy the customer, would you? Plus, firing her would lead to a big profit loss and more stress leaning onto your plate to find a new replacement for her. If she's gone through this struggle of booking everyone for over years in advance, then she must be good at her job and making you lots of money."

"Fine. I won't fire Gina, but you owe me. Take care of these customers, Gina. If you need me, I'll be in the dressing room getting suited," I watch as Mr. Winters walks to the dressing room.

I roll my eyes and see Charlotte looking at me, smirking.

"What?" I walk over to the clothes and look at the expensive and gorgeous dresses as Charlotte goes to the other side of the clothes.

"Nothing. I saw how you two were acting together. I didn't know you two were that close," I roll my eyes.

"What connection?" I see Charlotte roll her eyes.

"You guys were basically eye fucking each other."

"I don't want to talk about him right now. I want to enjoy our shopping trip and not let him ruin the mood. Besides, it was nice of him to give us ten percent off anything on this floor."

"Yeah, only because of you," I roll my eyes and pick up a blue sparkly dress.

"What about this dress?" I see Charlotte gag at it.

"Too sparkly, not your style. What about this dress?" I see Charlotte holding up a green and blue dress.

"Ew. Why would this shop even have that color green in the store? Plus, we're going to a fancy party, not a prom," Charlotte and I laugh and keep looking.

My hands come across a gorgeous red dress. I pick it up and show Charlotte.

"Look how beautiful this dress is. It's the same one on the mannequin in the window, right?" I see Charlotte look it up and down.

"It's so gorgeous, but look at the price tag," I look at the tag.

"Holy shit, ten thousand dollars? Who the hell would pay that much for a dress."

"You'd be surprised by what rich people do. Even if it's a gorgeous dress, I don't have ten in the bank, so," I laugh.

"Don't worry, I'll put it back," I carefully put the dress back.

"I have the perfect idea! What if we match?" I grab a gorgeous black dress.

"Ooh! I think that's a perfect idea. Go, try on the dress while I pick out the accessories. Here, this one looks to be your size."

"Sounds good to me," I go to the fancy dressing rooms, enter the closet room, and lock the door.

I carefully set the dress on the hook and undress. I grab the black dress and slip it on. I put my arm through the one-strap sleeve and zip up the dress. I look at myself in the mirror and adjust my boobs that were popping out. I walk out of the dressing room, looking down at my legs while trying to pull down the dress to be longer.

"Hey Charlotte, I think this dress is a little too tight," I bump into someone, and I look up to see Mr. Winters towering over me as always. I see him looking me up and down with lust in his eyes.

I look him in the eyes, feeling embarrassed.

"Nah, I think it's the perfect fit. All you need now is accessories," Charlotte hands me a bag and a belt to tighten my waist.

"I can't breathe."

"Beauty is pain, sweetheart. Excuse me, Mr. Winters, but I need to adjust her."

"Adjust me? Oh shit," Charlotte pushes me into the dressing room and closes the door behind her. I hear Mr. Winters laugh as the door clicks when Charlotte locks it.

Charlotte walks around me, looking up and down.

"Girl, if we're going to pull off this dress, we need some major accessories."

"Why don't we get a better dress if this isn't good enough?" I see Charlotte roll her eyes.

"This is the cheapest dress in this shop, plus you can never go wrong with a black dress. Damn, we're lucky we're gorgeous, or we'd never pull off this dress," I roll my eyes.

"Sit down in it," I sit down, listening to her orders.

"I can't breathe. This dress is crushing my ribs."

"Alright, you can get out of it, you winey baby."

"Finally," I try to reach for the zipper. I can't touch it.

"Shit."

"What's wrong?"

"I can't reach it," I hear Charlotte start laughing.

"This isn't funny. What if I have to use the restroom?"

"Then you better have a man reach it for you," I roll my eyes.

"You'll be fine. I'll be with you when we go to the party. We can be each other's date, but don't expect me to go home with you," I laugh while turning around, and Charlotte unzips me.

I sigh as the pressure on my stomach and ribs is released.

"I think this dress will be perfect," I see Charlotte pick up the dress as I put my comfy clothes on.

"I think I need a bigger size too."

"No. That size is perfect. I'll get my dress and things and pay for it while you're getting dressed."

"What?! I need a bigger size!"

"You'll be fine. I'll meet you by the cashier," I watch as Charlotte leaves the room. I roll my eyes and finish dressing.
