How? That's my first question. Not only to myself, but to the people reading this. For one thing, how did I write something so FREAKING LONG!!?? Not even my Hetalia fanfics have ever been this long. Seriously, this BTS fanfic is 328,923 words according to microsoft word. And that's with the included bonus endings that I will talk more about down below. Right now, I'm just going to question everything.
Hi, I'm the person who wrote this thing! Aah I have a lot to say and I don't know if anyone will read this. Still, even if one person reads it then I want to say thank you. I want to thank everyone who's read A Warehouse Full of Memories. It means the absolute world to me that you even bothered to read this story. I've only ever posted Hetalia fanfictions and would never dare to post anything different. But honestly, I fell in love with BTS so much that this story ended up happening. Let me tell you the background with this fanfic.
My friend told me about this BTS fanfic she was reading. It was Sticks and Stones by pocketbangtan. I grew an interest to the story from what she told me and read it right away. Though I was into BTS, I normally didn't read any BTS fanfics because I was used to anime characters. Humans were a strange thing to me since...they're real people. But I actually enjoyed reading the fanfic to my surprise. That's when I jokingly thought, "What if I wrote my own BTS fanfic? Jckjdbfksdbvkfd". And like an idiot, I put too much thought into it. Writing the BTS fanfic was done for fun and nothing more. But for something out of fun, I certainly put a lot of effort into this sucker. Seriously, I knew from the beginning that this BTS fanfic had to be decent. Have some kind of plot (which this story really doesn't). I grabbed a notebook and wrote down everything I wanted. I wrote the the backstory of each member, Reader's relationship with them, important events I wanted to happen, their home lives, and the start of the story. Originally, this fanfic was supposed to be a Jimin x Reader or Jimin x Reader x Jungkook. In the end, I was going to have Reader end with Jimin but then I ended up making Namjoon flirt with Reader too much and I gave up. It turned into a BTS x Reader. It's funny looking at what I originally planned and seeing how it changed as the story went on. (Sorry for the blurry photos. They're a lot clearer when I have them on draft. Should I just delete them since they're blurry?)
I even wrote down the special bonus endings, which again, will be talked about in more detail down below. Keep scrolling down and you'll get to it eventually if that's what you want to know about. Anyway, I wrote the prologue May 24 and thought 'whoa...am I actually going to write this?'. It was crazy to me. I still had school going on at the time, but I was actually serious about continuing it. Before I knew it, I was past 20,000 words and I was so shocked. I wasn't even near done with the story yet. One goal of mine was to write 10,000 words in one day which I managed to somehow do twice?? (First time was writing three chapters in one day and second time was writing all of Taehyung's P.O.V. chapter). [Side note: Both Taehyung's P.O.V. chapter and bonus ending are past 10,000 words like woah. That boy has a lot to tell.] Another goal of mine was to pass 50,000 words so I worked hard towards it. It took me two weeks and two days to accomplish that! And then it just kept getting crazier.

So not only did I go above and beyond what I initially wanted, I STILL wasn't done yet. I was thinking to myself on what the heck I was doing. How was it even possible?? Then I found something out because of my friend!
OHMYGOD. So I apparently managed to write more words the the longest Harry Potter book. Again, how???????? Who let me do this? For one thing, you won't believe how many hours I spent sitting in my chair to write all these chapters. My butt is left numb but I hope you guys liked this story anyway. Then I ended up with this much words:
I'm still shook that people read it in the first place. Most of my followers follow me (obviously) for Hetalia. I didn't think anyone would be interested in reading my BTS fanfic since I had no idea what I was doing with it. Plus, posting this fanfic in the first place was out of my comfort zone. I was hesitant since I'm used to Hetalia fans, but so far I've met some nice BTS fans.
I know the usernames of the people who first started reading my story. I remember posting a chapter and waiting to see if they were still interested in my story. It started off with one person reading, then three, then five, six, and then it turned into nine. Maybe there's more people but these were the people I was aware of who've read the whole thing. Either because they commented or because they voted on every chapter (or usually did). I would look at who voted for a chapter and think "this username hasn't read it yet. I wonder if they're busy" or dumb stuff like that lol. I knew who would be the first to vote on every chapter and when they weren't the first, I was like "ooooh someone beat you to it". Probably sounds dumb, but I do care. I made sure to learn your names even if it was nickname versions of your usernames. I will now talk about the people who read my story and my memories of them. I'm listing the ones who left an impression on me btw.
Scarlett_Redfoxx: You were the first ever person to actually read my story. I was so surprised and so grateful that I actually messaged you just to say thank you. You told me your friend recommended my story and I happened to see which friend on your profile. Tell Mads thanks for being so great aaah what a doll she is. Plus, I love her bio. Back to you Scarlett! Not only are you the first person to read my story instead of dropping it after the prologue, you're always the first to vote on chapters. Sometimes people beat you and I'm just like dang. You can get it next time, Scarlett lol.
Angel-Jimin: Now you were the second/third person to read my story. You started reading around the same time Dakota did. Also, you're probably the only person I call by their full username besides Vitaminvii. Sometimes I would do the same to Scarlett but sometimes nah. I couldn't wait to get a comment from you. You first started to read silently, but eventually you started leaving me the best comments ever. I looked forward to them everyday! Any time I posted a new chapter, I was alway wondering what you would think. Then I told you that I worked hard on the Jimin P.O.V. chapter because of you lol which is very true. In the beginning, Jimin didn't even have that flashback to his past but I'm so glad I added that in.
I'm also so happy that even if you guys were reading chapter 38, I was writing twenty chapters ahead oml. I had a chance to edit before you could read the mess.
DakotaK01: So you started reading around the same time as Angel-Jimin! You were in the first three reading my book and I alway waited to see if y'all would read a chapter the same day or catch up late. You've commented your reactions a few times about my story and I loved them. I still remember the one where they abandon V, where you state how shook you are. Thank you for being shook.
ClaryFairchild1234: Clary, that's the nickname I gave you. You and ytho started reading my story around the same time when I had a good amount of chapters up already. I forget the type of drama I was at, but I was so shook. I was so used to my holy trinity reading that I didn't think others would read it too. I was nervous, but then you commented and it's always been so nice! Thanks for being so excited about the story and for Yoongi x Reader moments. I loved your comments all the time <3 I liked reading all of them and your emotional journey through one chapter lol.
Ythoshyreni: Ytho, my darling! You're guilty of beating Scarlett. Sometimes you're the first to vote on my chapters and I'm just like dang! Thank you for being eager to read my story. You appeared around the same time as Clary. I also just like seeing your icon lol I like the warm color it has. It's so calming and it's also Jungkook with plants around him so that's pretty lit too. Gotta love Love Yourself æ¿ 'Her' concept photos. And thank you for the lovely comments you did leave. I appreciate them with all my heart! <3
CheyennaDC03: You're guilty of being the first supporter of Namjoon x Reader. That's what I have to accuse you of lol. Though you don't comment often, I do remember you and when you do comment that's how I know you haven't left yet. Also, thanks for catching that one misspell. You corrected me so kindly and I knew you meant well. Some people can be rude, but you weren't! I reread my chapters after writing it but I still manage to miss stuff. It can't be helped so thanks boo.
gimmethatagustd: I took notice of you when you started commenting on my chapters. You mainly commented whenever something entertained you like the peanuts being thrown in the bathroom or anything funny said by the boys. I'm happy you enjoyed those little moments since I know this whole fanfic is filled with drama so it's good that there were little breathers like that around to lighten up the mood and that you actually found them amusing. UloveMe143: You joined in later in the game. Around the time the Namjoon/Yoongi drama was happening, but you were catching up. You commented a few times and I remember being nervous. UlimaDhila: You showed up by the time I was posting chapters in the 40 range. At that point, I thought I wouldn't get any new readers but here you are. You showed up and slayed. It's like you binged my story! It was amazing. I got the vote notifications and was like "ooh lima has passed the steroid drama" or the rival gang drama and so on. Then you were caught up and it was insane. I applaud you because I don't have the energy for that! It took me centuries to catch up with Blood Ink oml.
BTSloveOnTop: Just like Lima, you showed up when I was so many chapters in. I didn't think people would want to read a story and be late in the game, but man. I continue to be proven wrong. Work it! You caught up and I had to applaud you. It takes me a lot of time to write the chapters so I can only imagine how much time it took you to read my story and catch up. Thank you so much for reading and not dropping the story! Plus, you started commenting towards the end and aaah thank you! <3 You're incredibly sweet as well!
Vitaminvii: I feel like you appeared out of nowhere! I was in the middle of updating my story and then suddenly you were here for the ride. You seemed to be caught up and then voted on the new chapters with the rest of the squad. Thanks for the follow as well. It makes me feel special! It makes me definitely want to write another BTS story. I also really like your username. It's so fun to say.
Now my question to all the people who have read this fanfic is, why? Not because I think my story is that dumb or something like that, but because of these reasons. I personally think the title isn't that great, but I still like it. I just don't know how it would capture an ARMY's attention that well. They probably want something spicy idk. Depends on what kind of stan you are. Then there's my awful summary. It's literally like one sentence and it doesn't even come close to what the story is in my opinion, but I suck at summaries. The lord can't save me there. Anyway, let's talk about the cover. It doesn't even have BTS on it. Not even one member!! I don't know how that could capture someone's attention since it's not special but whatever. Then I also think my story being a BTS x Reader isn't that intriguing. Most people want their biases I assume and sure they might love BTS as whole, but like. Their bias is their bias, but idk. I have a bias but I still read other member's fanfics for fun so I clearly don't know what I'm talking about. Now onto the first thing people read. A prologue. It's freaking long and it doesn't include Reader! Reader is nowhere to be mentioned in the prologue, the story shows that it's not joking around (this was supposed to be for fun but??), and it doesn't get to the spicy stuff. I'd imagine ARMY's want to get to the down and dirty lmao but my story has none of that. No lemons, smut, nothing. Maybe a kiss and Yoongi licking Reader's neck, but like...3,000 chapters into the dang thing. I also haven't written anything BTS related before. So I'm just confused about that as well as curious. How did you guys find my story? Why did you read it? What made you click? What made you stay? Give me the details, I'm curious and would love to know!
Who's your bias? Mr. Pyo? The Warehouse? Ms. Kim? Lol I know some of you have a bias but then ended up wanting Reader to end up with someone other than your bias because of the chemistry.
The original ending was actually supposed to be the chapter where Reader drops off Jimin to enter Jam Entertainment. It was going to be very vague about her ending up with him. That was my plan, but she didn't end up with Jimin and it turned into a BTS x Reader fanfic. So I decided for a more neutral ending where they freaking chase a train because. Why not? But I still wasn't satisfied with that! I thought to myself, YES it may be a BTS x Reader but man, would I still like Reader to have ended up with my bias or at least see that. Now I didn't want to choose a member for you guys. That's unfair and against my policy. Heck yeah. So I ended up writing bonus chapters!
Time to explain the bonus chapters. There's seven in total that will be posted after this author's note. One for each member and it's basically Reader ending up with that specific member. For example, if you're Jimin biased (I see you Angel-Jimin) and you want to see Reader end up with him then you just have to click on his ending. It'll be how Reader fell for the guy, how they got together, and the future you have with your boy toy. You can read each ending if you want, go crazy. I'm not stopping you but yeah. That's what I have in the works and that's what's going to be posted. I don't want to give too much away, but like, originally Yoongi's chapter was supposed to be the most forward and spiciest but then my bias shows and I throw everything out the window for no reason. That is all.
Gosh, this isn't really a note anymore. You can't stop me. 328,923 words will never be enough and I will continue writing!! Lol I might write another BTS fanfic in the future. I do have another BTS fanfic in mind to write and I bet it's going to be another long (pain in the butt) story to write. I have two in mind actually but they need some slight planning. But in all honesty guys, thank you so much for reading. I want to leave a few things about me if you're curious. I'll continue to edit this Author's note with answers. Just leave questions for me in the comments and I'll try my best to answer them!
I might post of a pic of myself in this note, but ew. Y'know? I could leave my public instagram account in this note but I have a feeling some of you might actually look at it and I can't have that. You'll see pictures of my face. Just tell me if you want some of my social media and I might put it in here. I've also done BTS fanart before so tell me if you'd like to see my skills at drawing instead of writing lol I'm not that good but I tend to compare myself a lot to my older sisters who are way better at drawing. There's a reason I'm a writer instead! Plus, one thing that I find cool that happened by accident was the flower incident. You remember the chapter where Yoongi found flowers that reminded him about the members and gave it to them as an apology? I read the English lyrics to 'The Truth Untold' and saw something that left me quaking.

I was so shocked when I read the lyrics. That was not done on purpose, but like dang. It still leaves me quite shook. Of course the song has a different message/story, but that giving a flower that looks like you to you part had me speechless. Plus, that song in general leaves me feeling like a changed person but that's for another time. It's common knowlegde that BTS makes tons of bops.
My favorite chapters that I wrote were Namjoon's P.O.V., Yoongi visiting his brother's grave, and Reader having a date with Seokjin. The reason I like the Namjoon one so much is because it explains the whole start of the gang. I think it's funny how I made him not like Hoseok at first, but I'm soft for their friendship. I live! Then I just really liked going through his past and how he broke down in front of Yoongi after he was saved. That was the start of his friendship with Yoongi! I like their friendship too. Then with the visiting the grave chapter, I wrote it really late at night (I was going on the bus to Puerto Vallarta the next day so I should have been sleeping!!) and I was trying my dang hardest not to cry. Like BOI. Why am I crying!? I'm the one putting Yoongi through this! I could sympathize with Yoongi and I just imagined how hurt I would be too if I were in his shoes. I looked up how family members felt about losing a sibling to suicide and wrote based off the emotions I got from reading their experiences. I had to take breaks each time I finished a paragraph of Yoongi ranting so I wouldn't cry omg. I survived though! Then the Seokjin date chapter I liked because Reader finally likes someone! For a day, but still. I thought up the idea on the spot (this story literally only has drama, no plot) and wrote it. I thought about turning it into a big thing but then I was like nah. Again, I don't want to tell Reader's who to like when this is a BTS x Reader and they're all fair game. But I liked it because they went on a date and because of how Yoongi acted towards the end. We love character development in this household and I hope I did a good job of that with Yoongi.
To Min Yoongi: I'm so sorry, Yoongi. I know you're not actually like that because you're not this cruel monster. I only made you that way for story purposes in the beginning, but I did my best to make you grow.
There's one thing I want to mention that I know a lot of people won't get. I won't say never because I have no idea but do you remember the last deal chapter? Hopefully you read it smh. Anyway, remember the part when Namjoon, Yoongi, and Taehyung were going up the stairs but Namjoon broke a step? Okay, here's some of the unnecessary stuff I did getting exposed for all to judge. So Namjoon tells Taehyung and Yoongi to go on. Taehyung sees Namjoon as a father figure almost, but Namjoon has to go. Quick 'lil reference to Namjoon's father leaving and then Joonie says he "owes" them that implying the debt his family is in. Ya see where this is going? Namjoon goes to down to bump into Hoseok and y'all didn't catch this but, Hoseok was all like 'Are you looking for me?' just like when they met and started getting along. Then the weed was getting tossed back and forth like the cocaine!! It was passed onto Yoongi who was the third member to join the gang. Yoongi says 'what is this' just like in the past and Hoseok answers him seriously which upsets Yoongi because that's not what he meant. Similar or almost exact to how they first met. Then Yoongi leaves to go get Seokjin. Namjoon and Hoseok soon hear Taehyung in trouble where they save him like when they first met him. Taehyung tells them he'll go get the rest. At that point, Yoongi comes back with Seokjin as their driver. Lastly, Taehyung comes running up to his hyungs and presents Jimin and Jungkook who are on their way. Jimin and Jungkook appear at the same time like when they first joined the gang. I didn't have to do this but I did it anyway for no dang reason. I'm not done yet. When they return to the warehouse, Jimin brings out Reader to the rest of the gang and Seokjin is the first to talk by calling her 'baby' like when they first met. BOOM. Like...none of that had to be done but I did it anyway for the fun of it so yeah lol. I did other junk like this throughout the story XD stuff you would have to over analyze to catch for no good reason.
Personally, I liked Jimin and Reader together in the beginning. That was my plan after all. Then Namjoon accidentally started getting some special interactions with Reader and some of y'all reading this story were rooting for them too. Y'all are wild. Then once it got to the Yoongi betrayal chapters, I was like YOONGI X READER FRICK YEAH. So yep. Towards the end of this fanfic, I really started liking Yoongi with Reader so much. Originally, Yoongi wasn't even going to have a change in character. He was gonna continue being salty towards Reader but toned down.
Me at my past self: I'm glad you changed that because I would have killed you if Yoongi didn't change yOU LITTLE--
Also, I noticed something. I'm sure you guys notice that I don't really swear in my stories. I don't like to curse in real life and I don't feel comfortable even writing down the words. (Yet I'm very dirty minded but that's a story for another day). I just censor them since I feel some characters just have to curse so censoring them is my solution to my problem. Of course, I write the word H-E double hockey stick, but I don't even say that word in real life. I just don't out of personal choice. Nothing more to it than that. But the thing I noticed that's cute is that whenever some of you commented with a swear word, you guys censored it the way I do. It's so cute and it leaves me crying. You don't have to censor yourselves for me. You can swear if you want without censors but I thought it was really nice of you guys. I received a comment that had a swear, but then it was deleted/edited to have that one swear word censored. I became soft! Thank you.
