*Autumn's P.O.V.*

"Well kiddo...I suggest you take the rest of the day off," she said with her arm wrapped around me. "I just want you time come in earlier tommorow since I need to discuss some things with you," she stated making me quickly nod.We stood up.She took out her hand from behind me put her hand out then I shook it. We both walked away from each other. Her ash blonde hair bounced as she walked.

I got into the elevator and she went back into her office. She quickly shut the office door. I heard mumering coming from the office. The elevator door started to shut as I slowly compheridned what just happened. The elevator unhurriedly went down.

"Why is Mr.Hornsby's orange eyes so hard to look at?" I muttered to myself while scratching my head. They fit him well. I just wonder what he looked like as a child with them. The elevator got slower for some reason which was concerning but didn't interupt my thoughts too much.

"Can't I just call him Diego when I'm talking to myself? Wait no...then I may say Diego on accident in a important meeting," I mumbled to myself. I looked over at the floor I was on and it said thirty-six. I narrowed my eyes.

"Why do I think of cartoon songs while I'm around an elevator?" I asked myself. "Why do I have so many questions for myself that I don't answer?" I giggled. The elevator came to a full stop. The elevator doors opened. I carefully walked to the front doors, trying not make a scene and then left.

This city is definitely a headache on it's own with all the air pollution and the honking. I've heard worse stories about it here but not as bad. I went to a college that wasn't very popular and the town was practically empty. Houses would always be up for sale and stores would always be empty. It was where I grew up too. It's almost a ghost town.

Here it's the opposite. There's the angry drivers. It's hard to find any place to live down here, and it's loud. I haven't even lived here for a month and I hate it. The only thing that's keeping me here is my...job?

I walked with the group of people crossing the streets. Quite some time later I got back to my apartment. It looked more like a middle priced hotel that you would see somewhat close to a beach. I walked up the stairs and unlocked the door. I flicked the light on and looked around at the blue chipped paint on the walls.I scratched the bridge of my nose and sighed.

I fell on my bed in relief. My phone started to buzz. I groaned in frustration and didn't get up. I let it go to voicemail. My phone started to buzz again. I got up  and slowly walked towards my phone. The phone stopped buzzing and I crossed my arms. A few seconds later my phone started to vibrate.

"Who in the world keeps demon dialing?" I said in frustration. I picked the phone and looked at the caller identification. It was the number of the front desk office. I quickly pressed answer and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?" I said in shock and fearfulness. My palms became sweaty.

"I just have a few questions for you," Kristen stated. "Nothing bad," she affirmed making me calm down a bit.

"Does five in the morning work good for you to be able to come into work?" She asked. I furrowed my eyebrows. What time exactly do they all go into work.

"Yes That's fine," I mumbled not knowing if she could hear me.

"Second question, well not really a question more of a demand from the bosses," she acknowledged, muttering the last part "They want to move your office...work area...whatever upstairs if that makes any sense to you," she explained.

"Oh...uh...yeah...okay thanks for telling me," I mumered. Move my office upstairs? The only upstairs is their offices unless they magically made a new office appear. She hung up with out saying goodbye. I shrugged and lifted my eyebrows. I shook my head and walked to the bathroom to start a warm bath. Once it was donee I stripped my clothes down to my feet and stepped into the water slightly closing my eyes and relaxing but then the Kai-Lan theme song came back into my head.

"I should've never watched that show," I mumbled. I scrubbed my hair and washed my body. I rinsed all of the shampoo and soap out and got up out of the bathtub. I brushed my hair and then took a moment to look into my light brown eyes. I chuckled then stretched out. I put freshly-washed clothes on and then sat on my bed watching Spongebob. Hours passed and it was close to midnight.I set my alarm. I turned off the television and laid on my side then drifted off to sleep.
