A/N: Part 2 of the previous Fate and Destiny chapter, requested by storyaboutHP >_<

( I was already planning one so ehehehe, here's the chappy!)

I'm starting to see a pattern of me writing long chapters for Megatron and in all honesty, I'm not complaining. He's really a fun character to write XD

Enjoy this long chapter~

TW: SELF-LOATHING, SELF- DOUBT, A LITTLE ANGST.

---

After a long tedious of self introduction and sharing stories of how the Autobots and Decepticons came to Earth, I was assigned with a charge. Ironically, it was the medic bot I've shown hostility earlier. I've learned that his name is Ratchet and he is the team's medic and also scientist; having to create the groundbridge from scratch.

Quite the amazing feat.

While I was mindlessly looking at the groundbridge, the yellow and black bot, Bumblebee was talking to Raf.

:- Does she not remind you of Optimus with a mix of that fictional character you introduced to me? Er-Sheron? Sherringford?-: Bumblebee beeped at Raf. The small boy laughed and shook his head as he corrected his charge.

"Sherlock, Bumblebee. And yes, she does have a mix of them both..." he trailed off. I look towards them and gave them a small smile. I've rarely smiled these days but the small boy held a special place in my heart.

Scratch that, the three of them got a place within me, even though I've just met them officially.

"Thank you for the compliments Bumblebee, but I'm far from being a Prime. Sherlock though? Quite. I do have a liking to his stories and his way of thinking, after all." I mused and once again the team looked at me with utter surprise.

Is this going to be a daily thing?

"Y-You- can understand him!?" Raf gasped in surprise. I gave the small boy a hesitant nod as I tried to read their facial expressions. Miko and Jack were both in awe, so I'm guessing that Bumblebee's beep is not comprehensible to everyone. At least, not to all humans because the bots understood him just fine.

Looking at the duo, I raised an eyebrow and spoke, wanting to confirm my theory.

"I take it that you both can't understand what Bee's trying to say?" I asked, and they nodded.

"I see..." I mused before walking towards the yellow and black bot, the latter having a mix of surprise and giddy look in his eyes-er-optics.

"Hello." I spoke softly. The bot beeped in happiness and scooped me up, hugging me the best as he could as he ran to Ratchet, holding me up like how Simba was being held as he could not contain his excitement and rapidly beeped at the medic.

:-OHMYGOD- RATCHET! SHE UNDERSTANDS ME! SHE'S JUST LIKE YOU; SMART AND WISE OHMYPRIMUS-

"C-Calm down, Bee! And yes, it's quite an amazing...feat." Ratchet said. I gave the innocent bot a small smile and climbed towards Ratchet, who extended his servos for me.

"He's very adorable. The youngest, I presumed?"

"If I had not known of this 'Sherlock', I would highly entertain on the possibility that you possess some kind of magic; regardless of me being in tune with science or not."

"......You've just check who Sherlock is, right?"

"...No." Ratchet lied, darting his optics away from me as he sets me down beside the large computer. The screen had some strange glyphs, I'm assuming them as the bot's language, Cybertronian.

"As you say, my guardian." I said in amusement and sat quietly, watching him type on the computer. My other human friends gave me look, silently asking me to join them for a game but I declined; quite exhausted from earlier's battle.

Settling down, I observed from the side as Ratchet type on the computer; and unspoken bond forming between us as we enjoyed each other's company.

---

It was one month after I've met the Autobots and I cannot deny, my days have become more meaningful... and noisy. My days were quite eventful and I've been indulged even more on the enemy, gaining more knowledge on the bot's history courtesy of Optimus.

I must say, hearing the leader's speech is quite enjoying and the latter does show the same feelings; sharing his stories to me during his spare time. From his days in Iacon to the war, not one of it was boring and I soaked up all of the stories like a sponge; quietly listening to the leader's story-telling with satisfied looks on my face.

Something tells me that the leader does not share his stories often, and I might be the one to change that. Not that I minded though; his words were wise and meaningful, giving me more time to ponder and share my thoughts with the knowledgeable leader.

Currently, I'm being dragged with by Miko and the gang into an Energon mine, the girl being absolutely fascinated with the bots fighting. Apparently, getting captured by them does not seem to send the message across to the femme.

Oh well.

There was a stilettoed mech barking orders to the Vehicons, his high-pitched voice grating on my nerves as each second passed by.

"Hurry up, you fools! Lord Megatron will have your helms if you don't put some work to those oily servos of yours!" Starscream screeched; annoyed with the slow pace.

"Get fragged, Screamer!" Arcee roared and unsheathed her blades; tackling the surprised seeker. That's when all hell broke loose and the mine rumbled as chaos ensued. The Autobots were doing their best to secure the mines while the Cons weren't backing down either, returning the favour by raining down more bullets and blasters.

I felt the hair on my neck stood up as I heard a thunderous crash and I whipped behind, realising my friends were already with the team and I'm left with a silver mech standing before me.

"(Y/N)!" The team gasped and called out for me, but I didn't move.

The mech before me was definitely taller than Optimus and had an aura of a leader, just not like ours. He was more...intimidating. His silver plating shone bright, as if he just polished them. His shoulderplates had massive spikes and it only amplify to his menacing glare as he looked down towards me.

"So, the Autobots are doing charity services now? Picking up strays and fostering them?" he said mockingly. His gruff tones rolled of his glossa so smoothly as he continued to glower at me.

For some reason, I'm not afraid of the mech before me. Not even flinching when he charged his cannons at me, I stood still and gave him a calm look as I smiled wistfully. My team's yelling seemed to be useless as they were surrounded by the Vehicons.

Is this how I'm going to die? Perhaps I should smile one last time then.

"You don't seem to be afraid of me, fleshing. Why is that?" he said amusedly and powered down his cannons, giving me an inquiring look. I shook my head slowly and walked towards him. Setting a hand on his silver plates of his foot, I looked up and gave the mech a small smile.

"I... don't know the reason why..." I began, my eyes became misty as I observed his silver peds. They were scruffed, as if the mech before me was someone in the heavy- duty area; carrying out dangerous jobs on the daily basis with the risk of getting killed.

"Are you...Megatron?" I asked, unsure if this mech before was truly Optimus's nemesis. He does fit to the criteria, but I had to be certain. Bending down, the silver warlord picked me up to meet his eye level and spoke.

"Indeed, I am. And what is your designation, human?" Megatron replied, eyeing me curiously. He gave me a small poke to my face with his sharp digits, trying to get a reaction out of me.

"Interesting..." he muttered and I gave him a small laugh. His actions were like a child witnessing a strange bug and inspecting it; curious and fascinated.

"The name's (Y/N)." I said, nodding respectfully at the gigantic mech. He was fully capable of murdering me on the spot. With just a small gesture, I could possibly be dead right here, right now; and he wouldn't bat an optic.

But I'm feeling risky today.

"Tell me, do I intimidate you?" he asked carrying me on his servos as he went to a side, calling for a groundbridge. My team were still having a hard time dealing with the Cons, so that gave me time to talk with the warlord before me. I'm probably getting kidnapped by this mech, but I'm curious to know what lies more than his menacing stature.

"You do...but I find myself curious about... you." I said truthfully, giving him a tired smile as he barked out a laugh.

Walking through the groundbridge, I'm faced with a very dark room-no-place. The...main hangar I assume, was dimly lit and it took me some time to adjust my visions. Rubbing my eyes, I blinked a few times before my vision cleared. I guess I'm now on the Nemesis, the Decepticon's base.

Looking around, I realised there was a bot with a large visor on his face, looking quite futuristic and cool. The visor had some image on it, so I'm guessing it's a part of him. His body was slender and he had a bird on his shoulder, I think. The visored mech was looking at me quietly, tilting his helm as he snapped a pic of me with his visor.

...Maybe I should get myself a visor like that. I want one.

There was a cherry red mech and a bulky blueish grey mech with one eye staring at me with pure shock on their face. I gave them a small nod and wave, to which they returned but still had the same facial expression. Lastly, the high-heeled mech that was screeching early stood by the far corner, his face displayed of horror and disgust as he came forward, his claws sharp and ready to pluck me off from Megatron's hand.

"Master! Let me rid of this pest for you, my liege!" he said and made an attempt to grab me before he got backhanded by his own leader. Megatron hissed as he brought me close to his chest, anger rumbling through his glossa as he spoke.

"Get your wretched servos away from her, you imbecile! She's our guest for the day and if ANY OF YOU dare lay a fragging digit on her, you ANSWER TO ME! UNDERSTAND!?" He roared; sending his message clear across his team.

The seeker backed away immediately and apologised, though he had an angry glare towards me. I gave him a small apologetic nod, hoping it would ease his mood a little. It did and he gave me a look of surprise instead.

Setting me down on the table, Megatron spoke up, his ruby optics still looming over me.

"You do realise I've captured you to my base and if I so much as want to hold you as ransom to your team, they will have no choice but to obey to my heeds?" he said, giving me a dark chuckle as he waved his clawed servos dangerously in front of me. I gave him a firm nod, still having the same wistful smile on my face as I replied to the warlord.

"I know. But I have hopes that they won't submit to your wants; I am not that valuable as you perceived me to be." I bowed before flashing the mech a grin.

"And pray tell why do you judge yourself so low, young one?" he asked, leaning down towards me. I stepped forward and placed a hand on his faceplate, startling everyone besides him as I continued my debate with the leader.

"Perhaps it is due to the fact that I'm merely one being in this planet. If I die, then so be it. I'm more than pleased with everything I've been through. I'm glad to have the honour of meeting the team and you, so me dying does not matter any longer to me. I have no regret." I mused, giving the warlord a sad smile. I meant every word I said; not regretting anything at all.

"And you don't crave to know more? Perhaps spending more time with your precious guardians? Anything?" he pressed on, and for a moment I saw a glimmer of worry flickered in his optics.

"I...do. But who am I to beg for such luxury?" I replied, looking down with a little self-loathing. I am no one to have such greedy wants, I should be thankful for now and everything; not craving for more.

"Well scrap, that's depressing." The cherry mech spoke up suddenly before slapping a servo over his mouth. I gave the mech a small laugh and shook my head, wiping a stray tear from my eyes.

"Indeed it is, I'm sorry for sounding so...negative. I'm accustomed to such thoughts for all my life...hence why I have so much curiosity within me as I discover more about you guys. So thank you for making my day more meaningful, I mean it." I waved at the mech.

"Why, thank you. I must admit, my presence is quite the luxury. So please, feast your optics out, femme human." he said sassily, only to be nudged by the bigger bot.

Turning back to look at Megatron, I gave him a reassuring pat on the faceplates again before stepping away, only for him to nudge me close to him with his digits. Standing close to his face, I closed my eyes and hugged his faceplate, the mech himself said nothing but reciprocated the hug.

If the Cons were surprised, they said nothing as I shared a quiet moment with their leader. Pulling away, I gave the mech a tender smile and nodded, grinning at the silver warlord.

"Thank you for that..." I said, looking down and fiddled with my jacket. Megatron raised an optic ridge at me and before letting out a laughter as he waved his servos lazily.

"Please, consider me being on a good mood today as I've shared my debate with you. Your speeches are certainly quite amazing and worth to pondered about, reminds me of Optimus. I take it that you two have quite the common chat, yes?" he said in amusement and I nodded, confirming his deduction.

"Well, yes actually. Optimus and you do share quite the speech, which I'm quite fascinated to know more, to be honest." I chuckled. Megatron went silent for a moment speaking up.

"Do me a favour, (Y/N). Please send my regards to the Prime... and tell him to stop sharing the old stories of our home planet." He deadpanned and I let out a snort, eyeing the warlord with amusement.

"And how did you know of that?"

"Puh-lease, your way of speech is EXACTLY like the old librarian. I believe he has already indulged you on our history, yes?"

"Yep, and will do. I'll make sure to relay the message to him." I said before scratching the back of my neck. "That is, if I survive being chewed on by Ratchet, of course." I laughed dryly. The warlord gave me a look of disgust at the mention of my charge and spoke up, not bother to sugar-coat his words.

"HE'S YOUR GUARDIAN?! THE HOT-HEADED LAPDOG OF OPTIMUS IS YOUR GUARDIAN!?" He yelled, furrowing his optics at me. Starscream was silent but his wings and optics told a different story; a look of fascination and perhaps scheming was on his face. Soundwave remained passive while Knockout and Breakdown shivered at the medic's name, so they do know of my guardian, huh.

"He's...grumpy, but he means well." I tried to speak for my charge. Megatron scoffed and rolled his optics.

"Yes, but you cannot deny that the doctor of doom is quite...annoying."

"He's my charge, nonetheless."

"Case in point, he's grouchy."

"You are too, right?"

"Touché." I laughed at the mech. Looking down at my watch, I realised it is already 12 in the midnight and let out a yawn. Megatron looked down at me before offering a servo for me to climb on.

"I'll bring you back tomorrow, let your team worry for a little. They need to pay more attention on you. And we're the bad guys, this is me playing the role dutifully." he muttered and brought me to his berthroom. I hummed in reply and sat quietly on his servos as he went into his room. Megatron sets me down on a table and gave me a flat look.

"Don't make a mess, I'm not all the nice mech that you assumed me of, (Y/N)." he warned, waving a digit at me. I gave him a thumbs up and laid down on the table, not bothered with the cool surface. I had my jacket taken off and used as a blanket, so I'll be fine.

"Goodnight, Megatron."

"...Goodnight, fleshling."

Within minutes, I fell into slumber, peacefully snoring away.

---

I woke up early the next morning and had been brought by Megatron to the main brig. Looking around, I saw the same bots from yesterday's talk and a tiny part of my hope to meet them again.

Another tiny part of me prays that they will be safe, no matter the war or not.

"I guess this is goodbye?" I said to the team. Knockout, the cherry red mech waved at me as he wiped a none-existent tear from his optics.

"Bye-bye, (Y/N). If we ever meet again, I might take you in for my own."

"Sure, if you want Ratchet to mess your paintjob, go ahead."

"Maybe not then." I shook my helm and waved him and Breakdown goodbye, the latter giving me a firm nod to which I responded back. Looking at Soundwave, took out my phone and snapped a pic of him.

"Now we're even, Soundwave." I said and gave him a wave. The bot made a smiley emoji at me before waving back. Turning to face Starscream, I gave him a salute and bid my goodbyes to him. The mech scoffed but before I went into the groundbridge, I saw him did a quick wave back and I mouthed farewell to him.

Stepping onto Megatron's servo, he passed through the groundbridge and we were back at the previous spot. My charge was on the other side, waiting eagerly with his blades drawn out at the sight of the Decepticon leader.

Setting me onto the ground, he nudged me a little before passing me a small box.

"A little gift from the team, aren't we so kind?" he whispered sarcastically and I bit back a laugh.

"Thank you. Till we meet again." I bowed and ran to my charge. The Autobots still had their weapons aimed at the mech, glaring at him.

"The next time we ever cross path again (Y/N), I might not let you go so easily!" he said before transforming and left. I sighed as I watched him go before I muttered in my breath.

"Yeah, I'll pack my bags for our sleepover." I said quietly. Optimus gave me a concern look as we went back into base.

.

.

.

I got chewed out by my charge before receiving another lecture from Optimus. All in all, it took me three hours to listen to their naggings, not that I minded though. Their chidings are a reminder that I'm still alive, and for that I'm thankful. Perking up, I gave the Prime a small smile as I spoke.

"I'm sorry Optimus, won't happen again. But I do have a message from Megatron, he asked me to pass it to you." I began, and Optimus raised an optic ridge, silently asking me to go on.

"He said to tell you that he sents his regards and... 'tell him to stop sharing the old stories of our home planet!' " I said, air-quoting. Optimus gave me what I can only described as a Prime's pout.

"I'll make sure to continue talking about our history, whether he likes it or not...unless you don't want to?" he said unsurely. I shook my head and gave him a pat.

"I like them. Please, do continue as you please." I said and he grunted in reply, though I could feel the Prime was quite annoyed with the gladiator's words as he vented audibly.

"It's fine, I love your stories Optimus." I reassured him and he gave me a nod, mood lighten a little. I rejoined with my human friends which I ended up getting tackled and apologised by Miko and the gang. I didn't bother much about it and forgave her without a thought, because I really didn't care.

---

Timeskip.

I'm now back in my empty home and on my bed. Pulling out the box Megatron gave me earlier, I opened it to reveal a human sized visor and a pair of commlinks. There was a small note in it too.

"Dear (Y/N),

I saw you peeking earlier at my TIC's visor, so consider this as a gift from us. I'll have you know that your life is much more valuable than you imagined it to be, and the next time we meet again, I will see to it that you've more to tell and debate with me! Perhaps in another life, you would make a fine Decepticon.

This is not the end and neither is this a goodbye.

Not so sincerely,

Megatron... and the team."

I shook my head as I laughed at the warlord's word, but deep down I'm very touched at the gesture. Putting on the visor and commlink, I activated it and smiled to myself.

"I know you guys are tracking me, so here's me saying I'm alive and well...and thank you. To all of you, I'm sure we'll meet again." I said out loud before taking off the mask. Setting it down, I smiled softly as I looked out through the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Nemesis.

'Till we meet again, my dear warlord.'
