"Ah, finally home!" I said, taking off my shoes and diving straight onto the couch. Mark followed behind, doing the same thing before giving me a blank look.
"Careful, M'lady. You might knock your head." He said, frowning as he came to my side, checking for any harms. The big guy was very protective with me.
"It's fine, don't worry." I assured the man. Taking out my phone, I gave the caring man a toothy grin.
"So, pizza?"
---
After receiving the pizza, we got changed into a more comfortable clothing and sat down in front of the TV, flipping through the channels. Mark had his eyes furrowed as they dilated and contracted, signalling that he was currently having a chat with his inner voices.
Mark said there were two voices in his mind. One good, one...not so good. The former mentioned to Mark before that his name was O-Op ...it starts with the letter 'O', I can't really remember. The other not-so pleasant voice was the one making him restless, always on edge and wary of other humans.
Yeah, that's right. Besides me and Albert, Mark has a lot of trouble with going out and meeting other people. Heck, he growled at Albert when they first met and it wasn't pretty. Thank God Albert was kind and understanding enough. Dear Lord, it took a long while for Mark to get used with Albert and hanging around in the library. Now it's like our second home and we find peace with burying our minds with the smell of old, musty books.
Our relationship was somewhat like boyfriend-girlfriend, we never really mentioned about it. Though, he does give me lots of kisses to the head as I do the same with him...so I take it we're in love? I must clarify, I do love him. He was absolutely amazing and besides his flaws, Mark was a very caring and compassionate man. I felt safe and at peace whenever he's around and he feels the same too.
"Hey, what do you wanna watch?" I asked, bringing him out of his train of thoughts. Mark gave me a glance before shrugging, leaning for a hug. It was a routine for the big teddy bear to hug me when he's anxious and unnerved. I had to stop myself from screaming the first few times it happened. It took a while, but I got used to it.
By the way, Mark sleeps with me and I've found myself snuggling in his warm embrace every night. Especially on rainy nights, Mark was my best heater, providing me warmth without any effort. He doesn't mind it either, choosing to spoon me and burying his face in my hair.
"(Y/N) ...I'm confused..." Mark spoke up, bringing me back to the present. My eyes softened as I ran my hands through his thick hair. The large man laid down on my lap, still having a grip on my hips as I comforted the traumatised man.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, concerned for the man before me.
"They are fighting...make it stop..." Mark said, sobbing in my lap. I pulled him close and he gave in, hugging me tight and wept. His large frame shook, the terrified man releasing all of his frustration through tears.
"The voices again, my dear?" I asked tenderly, brushing my hands up and down on his back, soothing him. He nodded, gripping his head as he cried for help.
"Please make it stop..." he begged. My heart broke at the sight of the man breaking down. Taking his hands slowly, I massaged them a little before cupping his face, making him look at me.
"I'm right here, no one's going to take you away." I said, placing a soft kiss to his forehelm. It seems like today was not a good day for Mark. He sighed and leaned in to my chest, hearing my steady heartbeats calmed him down a little.
Finally, he spoke up.
"The Matrix said that I'm not...Mark..." Mark said, taking one of my hands and holding them tight. I let him be, knowing he needed some time.
"Nemesis said...I should just stop asking...who I am..." Mark winced and shifted a little, curling up on the sofa. I nodded, running my hands through his hair again.
"Hmm...they are really noisy, aren't they?" I said, leaning down to whisper to his ear. "Hey, the two of you? Stop disturbing my dear teddy bear." I said, placing another kiss on his head. Mark smiled, snuggling.
"That's much better. Don't want my dear to be all sad now, do we?" I cooed, pinching his cheeks. Mark nodded, returning the smile. I wiped away a stray tear from his eyes and gave him another hug, comforting him.
"Thank you...M'lady." He hummed.
"Anytime dear, anytime."

Location: Autobot's base.
"Three months! Three months and still no sign of Boss Bot!" Bulkhead growled, punching the wall in frustration. Jack sighed as he leaned against the railing, watching the whole team struggling to keep it together.
"Do you think...the Cons got him?" Raf asked, looking around worriedly.
"No, Starscream asked about our leader whereabouts the other day when we're fighting, implying that they didn't take Optimus." Ratchet said grimly, wiping the tiredness off from his face.
"Which means..." Miko trailed off, gasping as she put her hands over her mouth.
"MECHS." Ratchet growled. Agent Fowler sighed and stood up, sick and tired of the evil organisation.
"I've contacted all of my boys and they're doing there very best to find Optimus. Have faith." He said, but his voice cracked; he wasn't certain either. No one said anything until a beep brought them out of their trance.
"It's a transmission...from Megatron." Ratchet breathed out, not believing his optics. Accepting the transmission, the silver warlord's face appeared before the screen.
"Greetings, Autobot. Such a fine evening-"
"Cut the crap. What do you want, Megatron?" Arcee snapped, growling at the mech. Megatron gave her a glance before dropping the pleasantries, replacing his smirk to a serious look.
"Where is Optimus? Is he deliberately trying to hide from me? What happened?" he asked. Ratchet scoffed, emotions getting the best of him and he snapped.
"Well, why would you wanna know!? He's GONE! MISSING! WE WERE HOPING YOU HAD SOME DAMN IDEAS BUT APPARENTLY NOT!" Ratchet shouted, leaking coolants as he broke down. Megatron went silent for a while before he spoke up.
"Who took him?" Megatron said, not at all offended by the grumpy medic's remarks.
"MECHs." Jack spoke up, coming up close to the screen. Megatron had to do a double take as he saw the young human take charge. Humming, Megatron typed something before sending a file to the team.
"I don't know if this helps, but the last sighting of Prime captured by Soundwave via the humans' satellites showed that Optimus was last seen driving towards a heavy forest." Megatron began, showing a footage of the team's leader driving down an empty road, leading to a forest just ahead. The scene changed when Optimus transformed and scouted the forest, looking around with an Energon scanner in servos.
"The footage ends here, but there was some unknown voice clips Soundwave separated. Here," Megatron said, projecting the audio clip to the Autobots.
"Get him."
"Hurry, tie him down!"
"Silas-" and the audio cuts off.
Team Prime went silent, their hypothesis proven to be correct. Megatron gave them time to get their bearings. After all, this is MECH they were dealing with. With the crazy leader Silas and his even ludicrous goals of taking over Cybertronian weapons around, it would be a damn miracle if Optimus survived!
"They nearly butchered Arcee and Breakdown! Heck, even Bumblebee got a first-hand on their cruel ways! Oh Primus, Optimus..." Ratchet muttered, falling onto his peds as he stared up helplessly.
Miko and Raf were crying, weeping for the gently leader. Bumblebee buzzed with sadness, while Arcee went rigid. Miss June and Agent Fowler were comforting the kids, but they felt horrible too. Bulkhead closed his eyes, not wanting to believe this.
After a sombre moment of silence, Jack shakily spoke up, fresh tears dripping down his face as he glared at the screen with renewed hope.
"I don't care if he's dead or not, we're taking his body back. Will you help us, Megatron?" Jack finalised, gripping his fist. Everyone stared at him, shocked. Megatron smirked, humming at the human boy.
'He does resemble Optimus after all...' Megatron thought before giving his answer.
"I'll help, only because I want to be the one to see his demise first hand, nothing more." Megatron said.
"Thank you, we'll update you soon." Jack nodded in gratitude.
"Mhmm. If Prime is still alive, I'll have to send my comments of you as an interim Prime." Megatron smirked before closing off the call. Arcee came forward, setting a gentle touch to the young boy's shoulders.
"Jack..." she trailed off. The boy looked up, eyes burning bright with determination.
"We're getting Optimus, no matter the cost. If he's one with the Allspark, I believe it is only right for us to give him a hero's burial. And if he's alive...we're busting him out of there." Jack said, standing up straight. Miko jumped up, her passion lit up and she was back in action.
"You got it! We're getting Mr. Gentle back!" Miko said, pumping her fist. Raf stood up too, pushing up his glasses.
"If we're getting Optimus back, I'll help too." Raf added. Ratchet took a glance at the kids, once again in awe of the humans' preservation and bravery. With a renewed resolution, the spark-broken medic stood up.
"Well then, let us light our darkest hour!"

Timeskip. Back with (Y/N) and Optimus.
"Mark! Could you pass me-" a pair of mittens were handed me before I got to finish my sentence.
"Thank you!" I said, beaming at the giant man.
"You're welcome." He replied, standing by the side as he watched me take out a tray of freshly baked cookies. Setting them down on the table, I was about to find a jar to keep them when I saw a hand inching towards the hot cookies from my peripheral vision.
"Mark!" I said. The man instantly retracted his hands and gave me a guilty smile.
"Please?" he asked, eyeing the cookies.
"They're still hot. When they cool down, I'll save you some." I said, shaking my head. Mark pouted but gave in, sighing as he came to my side.
"(Y/N) ..." he mumbled, coming close and wrapping his hands on my waist. I froze up from his touch and turned back, blushing a little. His eyes turned red as he gave me a lazy smirk.
"Hello darling~" Mark said...or should I say, Nemesis.
"Nemesis, what did we say about taking over Mark's body? Give him back." I said, pouting a little. Nemesis chuckled and leaned close, placing a soft kiss to my ear as he whispered.
"Hmm, you're feisty. Very well then." And the Mark I knew and loved came back, flustered and gripping my waist as he checked for any injuries.
"I'm fine sweetheart. Nemesis was just being a tease." I said, sighing a little. A few days ago, Nemesis started to take over Mark's body, scaring the crap out of me and also annoying the two- three of us.
"He-He didn't hurt you?" Mark asked worriedly, placing a thumb on my cheeks. I took his hands and kissed it, assuring that I was okay.
"I'm good. Now, let's pack the cookies for Albert!"
---
After packing up the cookies and saving some for the both of us to eat, Optimus and I left to go pay a visit on Albert. I had was free today and decided to surprise the old man with his favourite treat. Coming in to the cosy library, the familiar smell of old books and faint vanilla made me sighed in delight.
"Come on, let's give Albert a surprise." I whispered, tip-toeing to the office. Optimus smirked and followed suit, being a stealthy super-spy with me.
"What are you two doing?" a voice came from behind, making me and Optimus jump. Turning around, the both of us gave the old man a sheepish smile.
"Ahaha...d-didn't see you there..." I said, scratching the back of my head. Albert gave me a sigh before smiling.
"Cookies? Why, thank you dear." He said, picking up the dropped package and fished out the sweet treat. Munching on it, Albert hummed in delight.
"Just as I imagined it. Thank you, (Y/N)." Albert said, nodding. I beamed, flashing Mark a smile. Albert went into his office and we followed suit.
"Here, for you Mark." Albert said, handing Mark a dusty package. I raised an eyebrow at the old man.
"What about me?" I pouted childishly. Albert rolled his eyes and gave me a small box.
"Of course you'll have one too, don't be silly (Y/N). Now do me a favor and open them ONLY when you're at home. Promise?" he said. Mark and I looked at one another before agreeing with Albert.
"You got it!" we said in unison, giggling.

Somewhere in Jasper, Nevada...
"It's been a month! Where has Project Constellation gone to!? Don't tell me he just vanished!?" Silas yelled, slamming his fist on the table. The team of special force took a step back as they received one hell of a yelling from the scarred-face man.
"FIND HIM AT ALL COST!" Silas demanded, and the team ran off. Now alone, Silas looked down at the file before him.
"Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, Cybertronian. A successful test subject of Project Constellation, Code 1516.
55% complete of reprogramming before Code 1516 disobeyed the latest command key and rendered team Bravado unconscious. With much precise, he took down 50 grade S guards before stealing a keycard and ran away.
Enhanced, Code 1516 managed to possess the qualities of both Cybertronian and human. Test results showed that Code 1516 managed to retain his weapons while maintaining his human form. Unfortunately, his Cybertronian body remains MIA."
Chuckling, Silas shut the file and got up, cracking his knuckles as he went off to get ready.
"So close to near perfection. Soon, I'll have all the Autobots as my mindless soldiers."
