"Didn't you missed me darling."
Throwing question like a cold water at Sophia's face, Noah let Sophia's soft lips go and his hand fell to his side.
"Where were you?"
"If I would have not turned up even today, you won't have contacted me?"
Sophia gave a look to Noah with lack of credence. As it happens, even after these many number of days, he is not ready to let go the chop logic stirring things in between them.
Exhaling and succumbed, she turned back and returned her concentration once again to the statue she was carving, when all of a sudden she felt a tug of strong arms on her wrist and found herself again facing towards Noah.
"When I am talking to you, look at me. Don't you dare to ignore me."
Noah slurred walking and nearing Sophia, causing her to take her steps backwards until her feet hit the table.
"Noah, I think you are not in the right state of mind to talk right now. We shall discuss it once you sober up.
"Nope, now."
Just two extremely low voiced words spared in Sophia's ear and Noah inclined himself to near her lips.
"Noah not now, I don't want this right now."
Sophia placed her palms on his chest, turning her face to the other side and pushing Noah. To secure her in a place, Noah tightly held her waist in his muscular arms.
"Noah please. Not now. Not today, first we need to sort things out and only after that we can proceed."
Sophia, for one more time endeavoured pushing the hard stone, which never budged. Rather, stroking her soft cheeks, he whispered in her ears.
"Why? Aren't we married? Aren't you my wife?"
Keeping his hands on either side of Sophia, on the table, Noah brought his face to the level of Sophia's and spoke again similar to a whisper.
"Aren't you my fuck toy."
Hazel lustrous stones, brimming with mist, were lifted up by Sophia and she contemplated at Noah, who was smirking looking at her condition.
Chuckling, he gave utterance to words.
"Are you hurt treasure? This hurt I was when realization hit me that you still don't love me."
"I thought you have changed, you-you can never.."
"Yes I can never change, same as you."
Noah completed her sentence.
"Noah, what big of mistake have I committed for you to speak so about me?"
Sophia spoke with difficulty in between her sobs.
Noah clutched Sophia by carpus, preferably than solacing her, and dragged her along with him out of the room.
"I don't have time or patience for this shit."
"Noah no. Please, I beg you."
Crying and exclaiming, Sophia pleaded Noah which never reached his ears. She tried holding on door's frame but the strong grasp that Noah had on Sophia's arm dragged her out of the room.
"Noah life doesn't work like this. You just can't brag in any time and claim your rights."
Sophia kept on babbling, but Noah didn't stopped in his way, neither his long strides halted.
Holding Noah's hand, Sophia tried to set herself free. And when Noah sensed that it is enduringly difficult to take Sophia any further, he picked her up in bridal style and walked in their room.
"Noah leave me. Please. Just this one."
Noah threw Sophia on the master bed and started with undoing his shirt's button.
And Sophia like a worrier, got up from bed and ran in direction of door only to be caught back by Noah.
Turning her back to face him, Noah held her by placing his arm on her waist and other on the back of her head. Inclining his face he begin to kiss her, literally chew her lips, turning them shades darker, while Sophia tried best to separate herself.
Noah neared the bed, still kissing Sophia and holding her in his arms. Once reached destination, he let their body fall on the bed, springing on it before settling on there. Covering her body with his', he descended down to her neck and spoke in between process of turning the white porcelain like surface to red purple.
"I missed you so much. I can't live even for a second."
Hearing his words, Sophia closed her eyes, letting the warm tear run down her temple
and get lost somewhere in between the roots of her locks.
"You know how difficult it was for me to stay away from you?"
He spoke, opening Sophia's dress' zip.
"And after this Noah? Will we be the same?"
Her without protest, silent words acted like an arrow and hit Noah at his heart and he stopped in his action.
Up rearing his body, he fixed his gaze at Sophia and their eyes locked and immersed in each other world's for minutes, trying their best to scrutinize affliction the other half was feeling.
For those certain amount of time, when their eyes engaged perennially, no one spoke
a single words. It was like their eyes were doing the whole talking.
Noah kept on looking at Sophia's eyes, those beautiful hazel coloured marbles, that were shining because of the shin layer of mist that was covering it and reflecting image of Noah.
Image of the beast, that he used to be. The vary walking devil that he buried long ago for Sophia, to give her all love and respect she deserved.
And today, that monster woke up, getting whiff of Sophia after almost fore night.
The begging that Sophia's eyes were doing to Noah, were clearly understood and registered by even the clouded mind of his'.
And as if all of a sudden, Noah started to feel disgusted. Not of Sophia, but of himself. How can he possibly act like this.
That too when not more than a month ago he confessed his love to her, and even stated that he is ready to wait for her.
And from past fifteen days is fighting with her that she don't showcase her love to him.

Love can have different meaning. But not this different where Noah was craving for attention and instant love, which is why he is suffering so deeply.
Raising his body up from Sophia's, Noah got down of the bed and walked back, far from bed.
Getting a sudden reaction from Noah, acted as a source of amazement for Sophia. She herself got up from laying position and sat herself up.
"Noah?"
Without giving any further reaction, Noah blankly looked at Sophia.
"Noah?"
Adjusting her now turned loose dress, Sophia climbed down the bed and walked near Noah.
But before she can hold his arm to windless him down, he took more steps back.
"It's okay, it's not a big deal. We can always discuss things. Just calm down"
Like a good supportive wife, Sophia did her best to serene his restless nerves and make him understand that nothing is wrong, everything can be sorted out.
"I am sorry."
Noah spoke in a low voice.
"Huh?"
Mystified, Sophia asked him.
"I need some time alone, I am sorry."
Noah walked out of the room in long strides, followed closely by Sophia who came
running after him.
"Noah. Wait."
Sophia screamed, crying out loudly.
"Noah, where are you going?"
Even though Sophia was shouting and crying, Noah didn't stopped in his track. Rather, crossing the corridor he walked in the adjacent one in long steps and entered one of the guest rooms.
By the time Sophia could reach and enter the room, Noah bang shut the door at
Sophia's face, leaving her out of the room, waiting for him to open it up.
