As soon as Sophia opened her hazel almonds, she closed them in double the time and
let out a throaty groan. She fluttered them shut as was not able to keep open because of the rays that were hitting her eyes, after squinting in, partially filtered from the curtains.
In case to protect her eyes from blazing sunlight, she brought her hand in front and yet not wishing to wake up, she turned to the other side.
But as she did so, she felt someone's presence beside her and for record, not just presence but also intense gaze lingering over her body. Immediately she shot her eyes open and at once her eyes met with the calm silver stones, staring down at her soul.
Noah was sitting beside Sophia, resting his back on the bed rest and without batting his lids, was looking at Sophia while smoking.
Even without doing anything and just simple act of sleeping seemed spellbinding to the maniac.
Strong gust of wind caused the window to open, curtains fluttered and rays of sun coming in after being filtered by the cloud, caused disturbance to Sophia while sleeping and she stirred in her sleep.
As soon as Sophia opened her eyes, she found Noah sitting besides her, undressing her with his eyes. But what caught her inquisitive was, he was without his shirt on.
The mere view of Noah's perfectly carved body snatched all the somnolence that Sophia was feeling. With her eyes wide open, she sat up and fixed her shrug, eclipsing her deep necked chemise.
As if being petrified of him, Sophia crawled back on the bed furthest from Noah until her back was hit by the wall.
Noah without uttering a single word kept on looking at all her actions, with his relaxed stone-faced expression.
Finally, Sophia opened her mouth to speak.
"What are you doing here?"
"I knew you would deny."
Noah murmured, still not removing his eyes from her and letting his head fall back and hit the bed rest.
"What?"
Not able to comprehend with what he meant, Sophia asked.
Getting Sophia's question, Noah kept on looking at her, not batting his lids. Letting out warm breath, Noah spoke.
"You called me last night."
Sophia kept on looking at him with dazed eyes. After seconds, her brain started to recollect last night's memory by casting her brain back to the night, but not able to reminisce a clear memory. It was a blurred evocation.
While walking down the memory lane, she was able to reminisced about her accepting Noah's marriage proposal and challenging him.
"No Noah, I won't repudiate now."
Sophia spoke almost like a whisper, but Noah was able to catch what she was saying or meant.
And a smile crept to Noah's lips and they curled up. Not a sweet and loving one but a Machiavellian one.
Where Noah's eyes were pernicious and full of sin, Sophia's eyes were uninhabited, not holding any emotions, as if were tired of all the chase game.
Noah extended his hand so as to approach Sophia's hand but immediately, at once Sophia retrieved her hand back and getting down from the bed, she walked in the attached washroom to freshen up herself and most importantly to distant herself from the Lucifer sitting on her bed.
After having a cold shower to clear her thoughts and calm her throbbing head, Sophia came out only to find her bed room unoccupied.
She let out a sigh of relief in the thought that finally he had left. Sitting on her bed, she peeked out of the window to look at the open sky and her mind again went back to her marriage with Noah.
How could she possibly agree to marry a man just for money? What caused her to change? But when push comes to shove, does she have any other option rather than to marry him? If she won't, this mansion, last memory her parents left for her will also dissolve.
It's not that she have changed, it's just that predicament have caused her to be so.
But again, if she thinks about the future with Noah, will she be able to ever cross her existence duration with a man who had never loved her.
Paradoxically, never going to love her ever, he is just marrying her so as to quench his lust he carries for her, in name of love.
But even than, she will marry him and a phase will occur in their relationship, when he will get bored of her and will leave her.
But will be she fine with all these? Will be her heart fine with this, considering the space he had created in her heart days ago.
Not able to think straight she decided to have something to eat, as she didn't had any proper meal since yesterday.
Walking down the stairs she headed in the direction of kitchen, when she heard the sound of knife chopping.
With slow wander steps, as she set her foot in she met with the broad back of Noah, busy with chopping down veggies and preparing breakfast.
Although he didn't turned back to look but his keen ears did caught her entering the kitchen.
"Get a seat honey, breakfast will be ready shortly."
Noah spoke to Sophia in a cheerful voice, as if he is very delighted.
Sophia kept on staring at his back, and after a good minute or two, she finally spoke. "Why are you still here?"
Noah didn't spoke anything but kept on chopping the veggies. Promptly, he again heard Sophia's voice.
"Noah, I am already enervated of all these pursue and trail game. Shortly and surely we will get married, till then-"
"Sophia."
Noah shouted her name in a loud thunderous growl, silencing not just Sophia, but every single piece around them.
Slamming down the knife, Noah turned back to face Sophia and with slow predatory steps he approached her, causing her to walk back. While walking near her, Noah spoke.
"I have things to discuss related to our marriage."
Despite of the fact, it was a simple sentence containing information, his voice carried a particular warn and authority. Warn that Sophia should never question his action and authority that he holds over her.
"And what's wrong if I wish to spend few moments with my to be wife?"
By the moment he effectuated his sentence, Sophia's back was hit by the wall and Noah was already extremely close to her.
Using one hand, he leaned against the wall, letting himself to incline near Sophia's face.
In a low voice almost like a whisper, he spoke again.
"Stop pushing me Sophia. Now, I am your predestination, I am your future. Now your life strings are on my hand."
His warm breath fell on Sophia's face and caused an tingling sensation, causing her to close her eyes and turn her face because of the approximity.
Inclining himself more in, he tilted his head and placed a soft kiss on Sophia's lips. But soon as if intoxicated, he started to literally chew on her lower lip.
But on the other hand, Sophia didn't gave a single response, and stood still, not moving her lips, neither moved her lips nor pushed him apart.
Exasperated by her unresponsiveness, Noah begin to suck the air out of Sophia's body, causing her to clutch on his white shirt and push him so as to separate them.
But rather then moving back, be stepped more towards her, in her close proximity, pressing her body more in to the wall.
Finally when he felt Sophia's dire need of oxygen, although not wishing to let her go, he did left her petite frame.
Huffing large gulps of oxygen Sophia, lost her balance and felt light-headedness. Noah
on the other hand held her body still by griping her waist domineeringly and stared down at her.
"Will you sit now?"
Noah let out a low growl.
After inhaling enough of oxygen, Sophia raised her head and stared at Noah's eyes directly with the same intensity and nodded her head in agreement. Clenching her palm tightly, Noah walked Sophia near dinning table and dragged a chair for her to sit. After Sophia settled comfortably, Noah walked back to kitchen's platform and again indulged himself in cooking.
It took less than an hour or so, for Noah to prepare breakfast while Sophia's mind was still buried deeply in thoughts about marriage.
Shall she again run away from him? In view of the fact that she can't live with this man and withstand subjection to his now and than anger issues along with turning blind eye to his obscene touches. If she really gets married to him, he will get a direct ascendancy over her and would touch her every other second, however he wishes for. Although, future can't be seen or be constructed according to our wishes but, somewhere deep inside she was very much sure of this fact because of the obsession and lust he carries all the time.
But every thing comes to a dead end, where will she run to even if she abominate his touch, even if she leaves behind every memory this state is holding, even if her parents are laying here peacefully?
At the end of the day, he will find her with just a snap of his finger.
"Dig in."
Sophia heard a deep voiced, exhortation.

As for reaction, what Noah received was just her flinch and no other response.
"Sophia?"
"I can't marry you."
Sophia murmured softly.
"What?"
Noah scoffed, although he heard her saying but challenged her to repeat herself.
"I can't marry a man like you."
Sophia screamed raising her head and meeting the gray eyes full of storms, that were
turning of the darkest shades of itself.
"I can't let you destroy my life."
"Than I'll destroy this memory of yours, in front of your very own eyes, darling."
Noah whispered lowly, with a insinuation of warn and upcoming danger in his voice.
"I'll definitely have you one or the other way, but then you'll loose the chance of being
my wife and gain a title."
"Rather kill meâ
Sophia spoke without blinking or looking away from his eyes, gulping down the sheen of moisture misting her eyesight threatening to flow down her cheeks. "Believe me precious, I'll kill you every other second after marrying you." Saying so Noah turned back to bring dishes from the platform when Sophia rose
herself up from the chair and walked near him. Holding his hand, she turned him to face her and started to unbutton her dress.
"You want my body right, do what so ever you want to and leave me. Please Noah, please let me be in peace after this."
Noah had known Sophia now for quite a time now, but never seen her losing her shit
as now.
Noah stared at her wide eyed and just when she was about to shred her clothes, he
held her wrist and pulling it in air he shouted at her face,
"Sophia have you lost it?"
"Yes, yes I have."
Saying so Sophia let herself fall on the ground and covering her face with her palm,
she cried her heart out.
Bending himself, Noah brought himself to Sophia's level and with a calm expression he looked at her without saying a word.
After sometimes when Sophia have calmed down and only light sobs where coming
from her throat, Noah spoke in voice that was as calm as sea.
"I-am-not-backing-up-now-Sophia."
He pronounced every other word clearly, so as he wishes to engrave every word on her
brain.
"Bear it in this pretty little brain of yours."
Sophia looked at him with tears smearing her face, not able to answer him.
"Get up."
Getting up from the floor, Noah stretched his hand in Sophia's direction so as to hold
it and get up. Sophia kept on looking at his hand without taking it.
Loosing the last thread of patience, Noah bent down and held Sophia by her arm to make her stand on her feet.
After she was stable enough, Noah begin to button up her dress and Sophia contemplated him without batting her lids.
On the other hand, only Noah was well aware of the fact how he controlled his hard
pipe that was poking hole through his pant, after getting glimpse of her lacy white bra
contrasting with her soft milky skin. Just because of damn words he have given to Sophia.
After finishing up, he dragged her and made her sit on the chair and spoke towering
her.

"We have things to discuss prior to marriage, but first eat breakfast."
Sophia didn't have any energy left in her body to argue further of how she doesn't
wishes to eat anything for now.
When she strolled her eyes in front of her, she found cinnamon roll pancakes, bacon
garlic fries, captain's omelette, and she felt nauseous given her condition of constant
crying. Somehow holding herself up, she placed a single pancake on her plate and half heartedly cut it using knife to eat.
Noah noticed her action and how drastically she is losing her weight either didn't went
without notice.
Chewing on his omelette, Noah spoke in a low voice.
"I am not that bad of cook. Eat properly."
But even though, Noah tried to show his best humour, damage of his image in front of
Sophia was already done. Nothing hit her brain.
"I don't have much of appetite."
Just a simple answer and nothing else, Sophia spoke so bringing her fork near her
mouth.
Noah looked at stubbornness that Sophia is holding for a good ten seconds before he concentrated back on his plate.
'Soon sweetheart, soon you will regret all your actions. I'll fuck this stubbornness out
of you.'
After they were done with breakfast, Noah brought Sophia back to living area and sat
opposite to Sophia drilling holes over her by continuously staring at her without
blinking.
Feeling uncomfortable under his intense gaze, Sophia finally spoke.
"You wanted to talk about something?"
Letting out long warm breath, Noah spoke stealthy.
""Schedule."
"Sorry?"
Sophia got confused not understanding what Noah meant.
"About certain events schedule."
Sophia didn't answered anything, instead kept quiet, waiting for him to elaborate
himself.
"A week from now, we will get married. And before that tomorrow we will go to get wedding dress done and shopping some clothes and jewelleries for you. Following day
will have dinner party with close friend and family if you prefer someone. And after
that a wedding photoshoot than marriage. Any questions."
Listening to his plan Sophia kept on looking at him and spoke finally,
"You were about to marry me after thirteen days I suppose?"
"Change in plan sweetest."
Noah spoke letting a menacing smirk swipe his face. Pursing her lips Sophia thought
there is no use in arguing and she also wanted to get over with his everyday torture.
"It's just a marriage and we know what circumstances we are in. Why are you planning a big event." Sophia spoke in a low voice, trying not to again anger him. "What circumstances darling? I do love you and as far as I can recall you too liked me"
Noah revert back again with a cunning smirk plastered in his face, made Sophia think
how much more is he planning to hurt her and tear her heart apart by recalling her
mistake.
What he said was actually correct, she did liked him and almost fell for him but not anymore because the person she was about to fall in love with never existed, he was
just a mirage.
