Noah ensconcing himself in his executive chair, kept on looking vacuously at the system screen up ahead of his eyes, lost in the thoughts of Sophia, the prepossessing time he consumed with her.

Of course, beyond the shadow of doubt, he felt nostalgic of the time when she used to be exhilarated and be in all smiles around him. But in the present circumstances, she is not ready to devote herself to him and accept him. Is it fallacious to have lust for someone? Paradoxically, when he is in a fit state to provide with every other valuables of this world to her and take complete responsibility of her? That being the case, the time when he was falsifying was a far better time.

But regardless, this phase is just a time's shift. A day unquestionably will come to existence, when she will accept him and give their relationship a whirl. And that juncture of time will make an appearance once they get married and he will be occupying her whole day.

A beautiful time when the despicable gaze she hold at the present moment of time will again revert back to the one that used to be once in epoch. That's exactly how the wheel of their interconnected life will rotate and the beautiful entity they share would take a good shape.

Having a squint at his black watch to have knowledge of time, he realized it to be around half past eight at night, hence he settle on a plan of action of dropping round to see his sweetest love, as his mind was already elsewhere rather then on work.

Raising up from his seat, he walked lavishly out of his cabin, along with the action of putting on his tuxedo coat and entered in to the escalator. Guiding his car at the maximum speed he could, drove directly in her building and pulled up his car in the parking lot, impatiently and thirstily waiting for Sophia.

In the fullness of time, eventually he caught the sight of her willowy figure, slowly extinguishing the fire within his heart, the fire of his obsession over her slowly but surely burning him and leisurely unfurling its blazes and engulfing Sophia along with it. He found Sophia investigating her surrounding, and to all intents and purposes, ran upstairs, as if afraid of being grabbed and held back. As soon as she ceased to be visible from his sight, his eyes once again turned back to stealth, diminishingly small and sharp one which was a moment ago was full of lust and salacity, having sight of his beautiful sorceress.

Being patient for some moment, Noah tread on the heels of her, well acquainted of the factuality that she might still be wide awake, but who cares. Here and now she is well apprised of the actuality that he effects an entrance and egress her apartment with his own will, consequently not a single thing to be worried off.

Ecstatic to be competent to talk to her and have sight to her to his heart content, he set his foot in the escalator to get to her floor. Once there, he at an instant strode using his long legs to her apartment and scanning his fingerprint, he was about to shot wide open the door but it didn't.

He tried once again and the biometric lock did accepted his imprint, but the door to his desires contemplation never opened. He tried repeatedly like a crazy man for several times.

Acknowledging, that Sophia had put in application of some hindrance in her door, which is nip in the bud and preventing it from to be opened, made his hackles rise, he hit his hand at the door, with a loud bang, the sound of which echoed loudly in the surrounding.

"Sophia."

Anger blazing from his eyes he roared her name and after gathering up all his strength he hit her door for the second time.

Rummaging through his pocket, he got hold of his cell phone. Taking it out Noah dialled Sophia's number which was rejected from the other end after few rings went through.

He again started to beat her door like a madman as if wanted to break it off. Instantaneously, he heard a door neighbouring Sophia's apartment opened and a man peep out but one hard glare from Noah was enough for him to crawl back in his apartment.

He again redialled Sophia's number but this time it was answered.

"Sophia, I know you are in. What have you done? Open the door right now."

He spoke as soon as his call was received by her.

"I won't."

He received a short and straight forward answer from the other end and the call was hanged up immediately. Noah redialled her number and soon it was answered.

"Don't you dare to test my patience, open the door or else if I break in this door it won't turn good for you."

"It's already not good for me Noah. You have already turned my life a living hell. You haven't left me with much possible course of action."

Once again his call was hanged up from the other side and Noah redialled it but it never went though. The cell phone was switched off.

He kept his phone in his pocket and holding his hairs be started to walk too and fro in front of Sophia's apartment. It was thus far so strenuous for him to put leashes around himself and keep himself under control from going and see her. And now she had locked herself in. He was going mad over these things.

Subsequently strolling for sometime, he started to hit the door again this time with his shoulder, with intention of smashing it open and reach her. And hearing those loud bangs from outside increased Sophia's heart racing pace.

She took steps back thought 'If this is how I have to get caught by his hands and get clutched, let this be. At least I tried my best. Only if I make through this night, I'll be safe and be with peaceful mind for two straight months.'

And being under the impression so, she leaned her back on the door and sitting on floor she hide her head on her bent knees.

On the other side, Noah not able to open the door, lost all his strength and leaning his aching muscles and sprained shoulder because of vigorous activity, he sat on the floor, leaning his head and back against the door.

In the long run of all day long strain, the two got debilitated and both fell asleep, leaning head against each other with door separating their body and differences of feelings separating their souls.

Noah stirred in his awkwardly positioned sleep and woke up before the dawn at his methodical time, with a sore shoulder and cramped muscles because of all his night stunts in augmentation to him sleeping in the frosty floor outside in the glacial weather for whole night.

Not feeling his body up to the mark, he made a call to Stefan asking him to come there to pick him up. On reaching, Stefan called him asking to come down and he stood up from the floor and was about to walk off when suddenly stopping himself on his track, he turned around to look at the door behind which his enchantress has eclipsed herself well.

'Ethically, it's matter of time darling. You are going to pay for all these torment you are making me to go through.'

Thinking so he walked off.

Stefan saw Noah approaching in the vicinity of the car, still handsome with his Greek God features but something did seemed off in him. He was walking unhurriedly taking his own time, still with his long strides, his coat was hanging over his body with no definite discipline, shirt was half out of his pants and tie hanging around his neck with most of his collar buttons undone, displaying most portion of his chiselled chest.

Walking near the car he unlatched the door and slumped in, ordering in his deep accent voice resonating around.

"Drive to the mansion."

Without answering a word and responding just with a node, Stefan droved off to Noah's desired destination.

Once arriving there, Noah walked in and went straight to his bedroom, not to sleep but to smoke and submerge himself in the thoughts. Leaning his arms in the balcony, he smoked one after another and kept racking his brain in the thoughts about the actions that Sophia has pulled out recently. He need to execute his plan in the shortest possible time or else she will continue to do all these dumb actions.

On the other hand, when morning arrived, Sophia woke up only to find herself laying on the floor curled into a ball, fir the reason of the cold. But in contrast to her health

because of laying in the freezing floor, Sophia was quite energetic today.

She went in scurried steps to her bedroom and took out the only outfit she kept for herself to clothe herself in today and again coming out she prepare two times meal for herself and went in the washroom to have shower.

Coming out of the shower and unwrapping her hairs, she dried it using hair dryer and combed them to form a pony. After that she dressed herself in a snowy white top and paired it with boyfriend's jeans and above it wore a cantaloupe coloured cardigan. She went around in apartment to find if anything she had left or had missed, but she already had stuffed her belongings in her baggage and was only left with today's essentials.

Packing up every little thing she was left with in her side bag, she contemplated around the apartment for the last time, where she had crossed these two years. For these last couple of years, this apartment has witnessed her every suffering and agony over her loss along with her every jubilation over her achievements.

She had an emotional moment when she looked back at it. Only if she would have listened to Lisa's saying and not gave Noah a chance, things would have been different.

But anyways, she will be walking back to the mansion, her old mansion, full with her parent's laughers and memories.

Though she will face difficulty in adjusting there without them for sometime but eventually she will settle. At least more peaceful than now she is.

Walking out of the apartment, letting door to be locked on itself, she removed her retinal scan lock, and walked past it, climbing down the stairs.

Walking down, first and foremost thing she did was to scan her surrounding, but found not even a single bird around the building. Having a small walk towards the nearest bus stop in the morning sunrays, she kept on scanning her surrounding, to spot someone suspicious but again found no one.

As soon as the bus arrived, she hopped in and travelled to her destination. Without informing or greeting morning anyone, Sophia entered her cabin and kept on sitting on just one stool, peeping outside the window, without doing any work. Sitting on her hand and whiling away her time, she kept on beholding the beautiful sight out of her window, of butterflies dancing in the shower of sunray from one flower to another.

When was the last time in the course when she was this at liberty to gaze at the beauty of her surrounding with this leisureness, she can't even recall. May be because she is about to retire for two months and have a fresh start without any memories and traces of Noah, had made her lazy and without a drop of will to work.

After due course, her stomach growled angrily in hunger and she took out the lunch box she had prepared for whole day and had it.

Ultimately the much awaited lunch time came and Sophia made a call to Lisa, who immediately received the call and before she could say anything Lisa spoke her part.

"Almost there, come out with your bag."

And saying so she hanged up the call.

Sighing Sophia got up from her seat and ran her eyes to every corner of the room. Though for a short duration but she did liked her own cosy space.

Only if he would have not entered her life along with storm, this all would have never happened, she don't have to go through all this laboriousness. But in any case, she have got a vacation which she never even thought of having. Everything is planned. To while away two months with the money she had saved at her parent's last memory and pay the mortgage by the money she will be borrowing from Lisa. And the job which she is leaving unnoticed, well she will have to find a way to re- earn her lost money.

But before walking out, she took the calling card out off her phone and put a new answering card in it. Keeping old card in her bag securely, Sophia walked out of the cabin.

Letting out a long warm breath, she finally walked out of the room and saw Charlotte who was not just a good mentor to her but also was her happiness or sorrow companion. Practising under her, she did learnt a many things, but now she don't be even want to say her final goodbye. Or diversely she will burst into tears. Walking out, she found Lisa just parking her car. Sophia made her way in her direction and once reaching it, she got in Lisa's car.

"Resigned already?"

Lisa asked Sophia the first thing, as she entered the car.

"Yes."

Sophia spoke letting out an awkward smile. She didn't resigned because if she did, it will be just matter of second for Noah to know that she had escaped.

Indirectly, it's Sophia's loss as she didn't got her experience certificate but everything

is fine as far as her sacrifices take her away from the deceiver. "Fine. Let's go to your vacation destination."

Sophia smiled beamingly, listening to her words. Lisa drove to the south of Norfolk to

the town Edenton.

After journey of one and about an half hour more, they reached the mansion once owned by Sophia's father and now under mortgage.

The mansion was situated in average populated area, surrounded by the lawn and small kitchen garden. On the back portion it had a small pool area. But because of lack of maintenance, all the glow that once tha mansion carried has dissolved.

But the main reason behind this loss of radiation is that the laughter once that echoed from time to time from in it of a happy sweet family had completely lost.

Lisa drove passing the huge rusted gates and parked her car in the dried lifeless lawn. Getting out of the car, Sophia looked at the mansion with her eyes which were no longer able to see it, as her sight got blurred because of the tears she were holding in her almond eyes.

Lisa looking at Sophia's condition, embraced her from the back and spoke "It's okay, if you feel lonely or wish for, I might stay with you."

Wiping her tears Sophia shoke her head saying "I am fine Lisa. Return back, you also

have to join." Turning back she held Lisa's hand with in her small palm before saying "You have

already done a lot for me, I am more than thankful to you. And I am sorry. I never do anything special for you."

"Please Sophia don't say so. This the least I can do to bring peace to your mind."

Hearing her words, Sophia felt bad for lying to Lisa, but nothing can be done, if she won't lie, this time around Lisa is definitely not going to hold herself back and will lash her anger on another psycho Noah, who in return God knows what will do to her. Rather than expanding this circumstances to a troubled one, she should solve it quietly.

Nodding her head Sophia hugged Lisa.

"If you wish for anything anytime just give me a call. Alright?"

Lisa commended Sophia.

"I will." Separating herself from Lisa, Sophia replied. Taking her cell phone out of her

pocket, Sophia gave a call to Lisa, who with a frown looked at Sophia for explanation.

"This is my new number, actually I took the old sim card out of this phone as I don't

want to get contacted with anyone in this duration." Nodding her head Lisa asked Sophia.

"Will you be able to settle by yourself?"

Sophia just nodded her head in reply. It was quite an emotional moment for her. Her

life will be changed for straight two months now. But again after these two months it will be back in track, so she should enjoy this vacation of her as much as she could. Taking Sophia's baggage out of her car, Lisa kept it beside her and hugged her for the last time before she drove off.

Sophia kept on looking at diminishing car at the distance, before walking in the mansion and indeed Lisa had got done a good job in cleaning it spotless. And not just

that she also had stalk a good amount of grocery for her, to be enough for couple of month long.

She stroll around the mansion, looking at the old tainted photo frames, walking through the memory lane of her happy moment with her parents.

Finally entering the room, that once used to be her's, she sniffed it sensed the same smell as it used to be.

Dropping her body over the bed, she kept on looking at the ceiling and thinking how changed.

her life had Brushing those thoughts and promising herself not to think about Noah and related things, she walked in washroom getting up to freshen herself.

She spent her evening examining the dead plants in the lawn and planning what to

plant there in place of them.

When the night arrived, she prepared herself a plane dinner consisting of just tamago

and had it in her porch in complete silent, alone, enjoying the stars view in the clear

sky.

She went back to her luxurious room and changing to her old vanilla white night gown which she left in the mansion when moved out, she fell asleep, peeping out of the window to the moon and she didn't even knew when.

When next day arrived and sun rose high up in the sky, the smell of delicious food woke her up, and with a smile on her face she woke up but soon the smile faded remembering that her parents are no more and she had escaped the reality to here. Waking up and descending down the stairs, she entered the kitchen and shiver ran down her spine, seeing the broad back covered in the heavenly white shirt and apron,

chopping down the veggies.

"Woke up princess?"

Suddenly she heard the dark deep voice from the trespasser and turning back he

spoke again with a smirk glued in his handsome and fanciable face.

"Nonetheless, I must say, that was a nice escape."
