There are numerous hardships in this world,
And people start to lose hope;
Though with God's Word as my shield and sword,
I am yearning for the day I reach my true home.
After falling to sin, I have found the light
When He called me inside
His holy nation, where true joy dwells;
Lips praise His name, heart swells.
With a determination to attain the prize
That yields a treasure greater than life
On this earth, I keep my eyes trained forward;
Through flames and flood, I shall never surrender.-
