In the midst of this valley,
Where snakes attempt to bite me,
I move on with gaiety,
Knowing that He is with me
Every step of the way;
I shall fight for my faith
And resist the temptations
Threatening to jeopardize my salvation;
This is my utmost desire:
To receive the crown of life,
On the return of Jesus Christ,
That I may be with the Most High
And sing eternal praises
Unto Him and His Begotten Son
In His heavenly Kingdom
Where genuine bliss exists;
All of the earthly problems
Will at last have ceased
In the blink of an eye;
Yes, I shall arrive in my true home,
The best of all places;
The true land of euphoric hope.
