His gracious light has delivered me
From the path to destruction;
Now I can clearly see
That the way to salvation
Is much more difficult than it seems;
Though to attain that gift of resplendence,
I shall make sacrifices,
Do what is right instead of what is easy,
Though temptations threaten to hinder me
From moving forward, with burdens on my shoulders,
They give me the strength to carry onward;
Worshiping the Lord Almighty God and His Begotten Son, Christ Jesus;
For there is nobody greater than He is;
The Almighty Father in heaven
Who is the source of genuine bliss,
The best friend Who remains until the end;
Indeed, in His gracious light alone
Shall I place my complete hope.
