Barney cursed Maximilian along the way after he was arrested by the patrolmen. Barney was so dedicated to acting just now that he thought if he asked Maximilian to be his foster father, showing his loyalty, Maximilian would let go of him.

After Maximilian hung up the phone, Connor bowed and said, “Mr. Maximilian, I’ll take you to the hospital.”

Maximilian stood up and walked out. Connor followed behind Maximilian like a housekeeper.

Lily-Mae, who was wearing a big red wind coat, led her four-year-old son Hanks into the hospital.

In the corridor of the hospital, Hanks saw Sissi playing alone and immediately shook off Lily-Mae’s hand.

“Hanks, what are you doing?”

“I’m going to play with the little sister.”

Lily-Mae glanced at Sissi and curled her lips disdainfully, “Don’t play with that stinky girl. Beware of infectious diseases.”

Lily-Mae yelled and frightened Sissi’s inmates. They all retracted into the ward and didn’t dare to speak anymore.

Lily-Mae turned her head and grabbed Sissi by the collar. She shook Sissi desperately and roared, “Wild child, your parents gave birth to you but not raised you properly! My son is kind enough to play with you. How dare you push him? I will teach you a lesson today. Hanks, come here and beat her hard!”

Lily-Mae roared, clutching her hot cheeks.

Maximilian smiled faintly, “You are the one who is uncivilized. Both you and your son should apologize to my daughter.”

“Apologize? Your daughter pushed my son over and you slapped me. You all should kneel and apologize! If you don’t apologize today, I will immediately let you get out of the hospital and you will have nowhere else to go or see a doctor in H City!”

Lily-Mae was extremely angry. No one dared to slap her for so many years. Damn it! Damn it!

“Let me give you one last chance! If you and your son don’t apologize, I don’t mind being more brutal.”

Maximilian said coldly.
