She looked at her wrist watch and it was seven pm in night. She looked up and it was heavily raining today. Her Quran translation lesson had just got over and everyone was gone but she was waiting for Wali to come. Wali had taken responsiblity of picking up and dropping her off from her classes. It was quite dark and due to raining atmosphere everything looked even more scarier and spin chilling. Sky was clouded due to raining and it was lighting mad thundering as well. She usually loved rain but she was not liking it at a moment because it was scary. She was really tried and worn out. Her phone signals were not even coming which was making her even more annoyed and Irked. 'Where is Wali? Why he is not here yet?' Talia mumbled then suddenly the lighting and thundering strikes again, and she jumped up from her place. She sighed and sat back down when she realized it was just a thunder and light. She looked around and it was getting even more dark. She took out her phone to check the signals, but then she felt like someone was watching her. She looked around but she seen no one. She moved her head to cleaned up negative thoughts then looked back at rain which was dripping from sky. She always loved rain and atleast once in her life she wanted to enjoy it with Wali. She thought and smiled on the remembrance of Wali when again she started feeling uneasy and felt like someone was watching her. She again looked around but then she started walking because she was feeling really scared and creepy. She started walking slowly when she heard footsteps behind her. Her heart started beating loudly inside her chest.

Then suddenly without looking back she started running and she heard the footsteps behind her had start running as well. She was running in middle of road. Also she had been got all wet under heavy rain. Her feet had started hurting but at that moment her fear was way bigger then her pain. She gained courage in herself and looked back. But there was no one behind her. She started slowing down her speed then stopped in her track and looked all around but there was no one. She put hand over her heart to calm it down. Then, she slowly turned over and she came face to face with a men who was wearing joker mask over his face and she screamed. Her screamed rang on the empty road and she felt like her heart was about to leaped out from her chest. He was just standing in middle of road while staring at her. Talia slowly started moving backward with fearful eyes while looking at him. Then she turned over and started running. She looked back and he was walking right behind her. Fear took place all over body and she started running even more faster. She closed her eyes and running with all of might when she bumped into someone. Her heart dropped in her stomach and her eyes were still close. Without opening her eyes she turned over to ran backward as she don't wanted to face joker men again because he was really scary. As she turned over a person got hold of her hand and stopped her from running her away.
'No please leave me. Don't kill me.' Talia started screaming but her eyes still were closed. He pulled her towards him and she landed on his chest.
'No please I beg you don't kill me.' Talia screamed while her eyes are still close and tears started rolling off from her eyes mixing with the rain.
'Talia.' He called her but she still didn't opened her eyes.
'Please Leave me.' Talia screamed while tying to got out from his hold which was around her waist.
'Talia.' He screamed her name and she quickly opened her eyes. She looked up and there he was standing while drenched all in rain.
'Wali.' She whisper his name.
'What happen Talia? Why you are running in middle of road? I was waiting for you there. How come you are here?' Wali asked and tears were flowing from her eyes even more rapidly,
'There....there......' She tried to say but rain and her crying was making hard for her to spoke up.
'Yeah tell me Talia. Why you look so scared and frightened ?' Wali asked softly while his hands were still around her waist.
'There was a person who was stalking me. He.... He was wearing joker mask.' Talia tried to explained and put shaky hand over her head because she was feeling dizzy. Wali looked around but he seen no one around.
'Talia there is no one around here.' Wali said and looked back at her.
'I swear he was here. I am not lying.' Talia said quickly.
'I know you are not lying. But don't worry about it. Let's go home now. We are getting wet in rain.' Wali said to her and she nodded her head in yes. Wali get hold of hand to walked when she felt dizzy then she suddenly fell down on the ground whereas in try to got hold of her he sat down on ground as well.
'Talia.' Wali called out to her worried while he was holding her in his arms but she didn't responses to him. Wali touched her forehead and it was hot. She had got fever due to cold as well her body was shivering. Wali sighed then picked her up in bridal style, and walked toward his car. He made her laid down on back seat and then sat down on drive seat, and sped away the car. He drive the car as fast he could and reached at home. He carefully picked her up and walked inside the house.
'Aisha.' Wali loudly called out to her but got no reply. Then he remember Aisha had went out at her relative's wedding today and she was not here. He quickly walked upstairs and opened her room's door. He made her laid down on bed and then took out his phone to called his family doctor. The bell was ringing on other line and after a while doctor picked up the phone.
'Hello Mrs Shah, It's Wali speaking. I need your help. My wife got unconscious and have fever due to cold.' Wali explained worried while looking at her weak and delicate figure on bed.
'Mr Wali I am sorry to inform you but I am already struck in traffic at a moment because of rain. I will try to come as soon I could but I think it will take me alot of time.' Mrs Shah said and Wali worried sighed.
'What should I do now?' Wali asked.
'Mr Wali don't worry I try to come as soon I could but before that Is she still wearing her wet cloth on her.' Mrs Shah asked and Wali looked at her.
'Yeah but why you are asking that?' Wali asked confused.
'Okay, Mr Wali listen to me very carefully first you need to remove her clothes as they are wet and will cause her to have more fever. Did you get me Mr Wali?' Mr Shah asked.
'Yeah but there is no women available to change her clothes.' Wali said stressed.
'So What? Why don't you change her clothes.' Mrs Shah said coolly and phone was about to dropped out from Wali's hand.
'What?' Wali screamed and shocked looked at Talia whereas he heard Mrs Shah laugh though phone.
'Why you are so shocked Mr Wali. She is your wife. You should not be nervous or embarrass to change her clothes.' Mrs Shah said and Wali quickly got hold of himself.
' Yeah you are right.' Wali said and looked back at her then suddenly looked away.
'After changing her clothes. Put warm wet cloth on her forehead which will help to decrease her fever. Also make sure you have warm her up from blanket over her. I will try to come as soon I could.' Mrs Shah said and cut off the line. Wali looked at blank phone for a while then put it back in his pocket. He looked at Talia then slowly walked towards her wardrobe and took out clothes from it. There were mostly dresses, shirts and skirts which were not comfortable at all to sleep in them. He looked at her clothes and sighed.
'How I am going make her wear these.' Wali muttered under his breath tensed , and looked back at her. Then he put back her clothes and tried to find her night clothes but couldn't find them. Then,he turned over and start pacing around the room when an idea clicked in his head. He slowly walked back in his room and took out his shirt then walked back in her room. He stopped and stood right in front her.
'What should I do next?' Wali muttered nervously and stood still on her place for a while. Then he turned off the lights of room and there was darkness everywhere in the room. He walked back and sat on the bed. Then he made her sat up on the bed and unconsciously her head head fell on his chest. He freeze on his place then slowly moved his shaky hand and start opening up her shirt. He took out her shirt and put them on the bed. His hand touches her bare back and he quickly moved away his hand as if he had burned with the touch. That was most intimacy they ever had in their relation. He can't see her in darkness but clearly can feel it. His heart was beating uncontrollably in his chest and sweat started forming on his forehead. He shook away his head to cleaned away his thoughts, and then quickly started changing her clothes while put on his shirt over her. Then he slowly made her laid back down on the bed then turned back on the lights. Without looking at her because his shirt only went up her knee. He stood up and quickly took out black blanket from wardrobe then put it over her and covered her properly. He sighed then moved away hair from her forehead and touched it to check her fever. She still was burning. He walked out from the room and got inside the kitchen. He warmed up the water and searched for clean cloth because he had no idea where to get it and after some searched he found a clean cloth which he could use. He got hold bowl of warm water and got back in her room. He sat down next to her on bed then put cloth in the water then rinse the cloth and carefully put it on her forehead. He repeated the act again and again until he heard front door bell rang. He got up and opened the door. Their Mrs Shah was standing.
'Hello doctor.' Wali greeted and she greeted him back.
'How is she now?' Mrs Shah asked while they started walking upstairs.
'I have done everything which you told me do so. She is still unconscious and still shivering alot.' Wali said and Mrs Shah nodded her head in yes as they walked inside room.
'Okay that is great. I will take care of rest.' Mrs Shah said and Wali nodded his head in yes. Then she checked her up and gave her injection. Then she stood up and turned over to Wali who was standing at a side while looking at them.
'I have given her injection. She will be better in morning. You just take care of her and keep her warm.' Mrs Shah said and Wali nodded his head in yes. Then they walked out and Wali dropped her off to door.
'Thank you very much for coming here even in this weather.' Wali said gratefully.
'No worries ' Mrs Shah said and smiled. She walked out whereas Wali locked the door and came back in her room. He triedly sighed and looked at his wrist and it was one in night. He looked away from his wrist watch , and looked at her. He was double minded whether he should stayed here or went back in his room. He thought for a while then walked out from
the room and come back in his room. He took out his night clothes and got into restroom. He walked out after changing his clothes then again walked out from his room. He closed his room's door , and walked back in her room. He looked at her then turned off the lights. He slowly walked towards bed then laid down on other side of bed because he has decided to stayed here. 'What if she need something?' Wali thought then closed his eyes while trying to sleep but sleep was not coming to him. He laid straight but still no sleep. Then he looked at her and he felt like she was still shivering. Then Without thinking twice he pulled her toward him and she landed on his chest as she was still unconscious. He put his arms around her waist tightly while trying to warmed her up when she moved more into his chest to found more warm and comfortable place while shiver ran up in his spin with their closeness. Then she put her hands around his neck ,and he looked down at her peaceful sleeping face. He sighed then closed his eyes ,and after a while he fell into deep sleep.
