'Salam.' Walid said cheerfully while entering in the sitting room while Fatima was right behind him whereas Wali and Talia were sitting far away from each other on sofas while deep in their thoughts. On their cheerful voices they looked up at them then stood up from their places to greeted them.
'Wasalam.' They both replied whereas Talia hugged Fatima and Wali hugged Walid.
'How come you are here?' Wali said
'I thought you never going to call me so I decided to come here by myself.' Walid said playfully and Wali rolled his eyes on him.
'You never come to my house with Talia sister.' Walid complaind to Wali while they all sat down on sofas.
'You never invite us to your house.' Wali said teasingly and Walid looked at him.
'Really Wali, Now you need invitation for coming for my house.' Walid said and Wali nodded his head in yes while smiling.
'Whatever.' Walid muttered under his breath and Wali just smiled.
'Shall, I get something to drink?.' Talia said while standing up from her place.
'No, there is no need for it.' Fatima said
'Why?' Wali asked confused.
'Because we are going to eat ice cream.' Walid said cheerfully.
'What?' Talia said
'Yeah, I don't think Wali ever take you anywhere, sister in law.' Walid said teasingly whereas they lookd up at each other and Wali quickly looked away because he was right.
'He is joking, don't mind.' Fatima said and Talia smiled to her.
'But have you seen a time, it is already Eleven pm in night. It is late.' Wali said while looking at his wrist watch.
'Yeah, I know but this is a treat.' Walid said and they looked at him.
'Treat for what?' Wali asked
'Its a good new.' Walid said and lovingly looked at Fatima.
'And what is that good new.' Wali asked confused.
'Wali, you are soon going to be a Uncle.' Walid announced whereas Fatima blushed deep red, and Wali and Talia surprisingly looked at him
'Oh my god, You are being serious.' Wali asked happily and Walid happily nod his head in yes
'Wow, that is great.' Talia said
'Congratulations.' Wali and Talia said it together and they looked up at each other.
'Wow, what a connection.' Walid said teasingly and they looked away.
'Well, then we should go.' Wali said and they all nodded their head in yes. Then they all stood up and walked out.
'We will go in my car.' Walid said and they all got inside. After a while, they stopped in front of ice cream shop and got inside. They sat on the table as Talia and Fatima sitting with each other and Walid and Wali were sitting right in front of them across the table.
'Okay, which flavour you all want?' Walid asked while standing up.
'I want strawberry.' Fatima said happily and Walid smiled to her.
'What about you two?' Walid asked
'I want chocolate flavour.' Talia said and Walid nodded his head in yes whereas he looked up at Wali.
'Vanilla.' Wali said and Walid walked away toward counter to gave their order. He came back after giving the order and sat down on the table.
'It will take half an hour.' Walid said and they nodded their head in yes.
'So, Talia sister, How you are finding Wali as a husband?' Walid asked while smiling to Wali who dead glare to him.
'Oh God Wali, don't kill me with your eyes, I am just asking that how Talia sister is tolerating you.' Walid said teasingly whereas Fatima and Talia started laughing.
'You know Talia, Every girl in collage used to flirt with Wali and he never even looked at them. I can never believe that how they can like arrogant and attitude Wali while I am there. How they ignore me for him?' Walid said teasingly and thy all started laughing.
'Stop it Walid, Wali is better then you in every way.' Fatima said while laughing.
'Oh my god, now even my wife is your fan. ' Walid said while laughing whereas Talia smiled to him.
'Ouch.......I am hurt.' Walid said while putting hand on his heart acting.
'Stop acting.' Fatima said when at a same
time waiter brought their ice cream and put them it on table. They got hold of their ice creams and waiter walked away.
'Talia what is your hobbies?' Fatima asked staring a conversation and everyone looked at her.
'Nothing much but I like reading and writing poetry.' Talia said
'Wow, that sound great.' Walid said
'Say some poetry.' Fatima said whereas Wali was looking at her.
'No, Not now.' Talia said shyly.
'Come on, Talia not much, just little bit.' Fatima said.
'Yeah, please Talia sister.' Walid pleaded and she helplessly looked at Wali for helped who was looking at her.
'Wali is not going to help you Talia sister.' Walid said when he saw her looking at him whereas Wali just shrugged his shoulder showing that he actually was not going to help her. she sighed and looked around.
'No one understood our relationship, my love
Even if it's complete, it still remains incomplete,
I don't find peace without You
There's no day or night without You.' Talia said softly and looked at Wali who quickly looked away.
'Wow, That is amazing.'Fatima said and Talia just smiled to her.
' That was indeed great poetry. I think your taste Talia sister.' Walid said
'Thank you. ' Talia said and looked at Wali to say something. Wali looked at her , and he was about to spoke up when Walid's phone started ringing. They all looked at him.
'Salam ' Walid said
'What?' Walid screamed and they worried looked at him
'Okay, We are coming now ' Walid said ,and hang up the phone then looked towards them.
'Everything is fine.' Wali asked worried.
'No, my aunt is in hospital. We need to go there. Is that be okay with you two?' Walid said
'Yeah, That is perfectly fine but we will go with you as well.' Wali said
'No, no need to come with us. You two go home and please take care of bill.' Walid said while standing up and they all stood up from their place. They already had finished their ice cream anyway whereas Wali and Talia nodded his head in yes.
'Catch with you later.' Walid said and walked out and Fatima followed her behind him. Wali sighed and looked at Talia.
' I think we should be going. We need to go from taxi because Walid have taken the car.' Wali said .and Talia nodded her head in yes. They paid the bill and walked out. It been half an hour while they were standing on road waiting for a taxi. It was already really late in night and they were unable to found any taxi. Talia was standing on the side of road while looking at him and waiting. Wali sighed then looked at Talia.
' I think we should walk as house is not that far away.We won't be able to find any taxi.' Wali said and Talia nodded her head in yes. And they started walking.
'I never knew you like poetry.' Wali asked out of blue and Talia looked at him.
'There is so many things which you don't know about me Wali.' Talia said and Wali looked at her. Their eyes met and they looked away. They started walking while their was silence between them. After a while they saw a drunk two men who walked towards them while they were holding alcohol bottles in their hands. They stood in front of them and looked at Talia from top to bottom whereas she nervously looked down. Wali followed their gaze and his blood boiled when he saw them checking her out. He walked and stood right in front of Talia whereas she moved behind him to hide herself from their gazes.
'Move away and leave our way.' Wali said angrily and they started laughing . He could smell alcohol from their breath.
'Who is that pretty lady?' one of drunk man said , and Wali clenched his fist and glared at them.
'Shut up and leave our way.' Wali screamed angrily
'You are free to go but leave her here for us.' Drunk guy said smirking ,and then started laughing whereas Wali angrily walked towards
him and slapped him across his face.
'Don't even dare to talk any nonsense about her.' Wali screamed and now both drunk men were angrily glaring at him.
' You hit me.' Man said and tried to grab his collar but Wali pushed him away whereas he tremble because he was high on drunk and fell down on the road. Wali looked at other man who was angrily staring at him then he started smiling and Wali confused looked at him. Then, drunk guy moved the bottle high in the air and looked back at Talia while Wali eyes wide when he realized what he was about to do. Wali looked back at Talia who with fearful eyes was looking at a man who was laying on the ground , and not paying attention or looking at Wali or other man.
'Take that then.' Man and smirked to Wali then flew the alcohol's bottle towards Talia in the air when Wali walked and stood in front of her and pulled her towards him , and she landed on his chest. His back was facing the man and next second with the full speed the alcohol's bottle hit hard on back of his shoulder while breaking into pieces. Talia slowly moved away from his chest and shocked looked at him whereas his eyes were shut due to pain.
