It has been a week since Elizabeth came over to help Daniel and Cordelia write a list of things they needed for the baby. Cordelia and Daniel are sitting in the living room. Cordelia is reading her book, and Daniel is reading the paper.
Cordelia "I have been thinking, since we are not really doing anything we should go and get some things for the babies."
Daniel "Sounds good to me love."
Cordelia "Alright then I will go grab my bag and then we can head out."
Daniel "Alright."
Daniel and Cordelia get into the car and drive to the closest baby store.
Cordelia "I brought the list my mother helped us write."
Daniel "Good idea."
Cordelia and Daniel head into the store to start shopping. The shelves and isles are filled with baby things.
Cordelia and Daniel pick up 2 cribs.
They pick up diapers.
They pick up some wipes.
They get bottles.
They get high chairs.
They get some bibs.
Cordelia and Daniel picked up strollers.
They get a changing table.
The last thing Cordelia and Daniel get are baby clothes.
Cordelia "I think that's everything for now."
Daniel "It better be all, because this is a lot of things."
Cordelia "It is a lot of things. Why don't we put all this in the car, so we can go home and I can get dinner ready."
Daniel "Alright, I will start to put the things for the babies in the car."
Daniel put the things for the babies in the car and they headed home. 5 minutes later the arrive at home.
Daniel "I will bring this stuff in, while you get dinner ready."
Cordelia "Alright, thank you dear."
Daniel started to unpack the car while Cordelia worked on getting dinner ready. A short time later Cordelia called Daniel for dinner.
Daniel "Dinner smells delicious love."
Cordelia "Thank you. We are having chicken for dinner."
Daniel and Cordelia ate dinner in silence, and after the finished eating Cordelia cleaned up dinner and put it away. After she cleaned up dinner she went upstairs to wash up.
Cordelia " I had a pretty good day today."
Daniel "That is good, so did I."
Cordelia and Daniel kissed each other, and then just layer there on the bed.
Sorry I have not posted in a while, I have been busy lately. I try to post a new chapter every couple of weeks.
