Today I'm telling my friends about Will.
The same phrase repeated in my mind as Madison drove us to school. The girls' laughter and chatter filled the car.
I inhaled a breath, forcing down my nerves. I'd never told anyone about my feelings for Will. I'd been terrified that if I so much as mentioned it to anyone, he would somehow find out and reject me. But now...now I could be honest.
Too soon, Madison pulled up in the school parking lot. She glanced back at me as Gemma and Layla spilled out of the car.
"You okay Beauty?" Madison asked.
Gemma and Layla leaned back into the car.
"Yeah, you've been quiet the whole time," Gemma said.
"Anyone you want me to kill?" Layla offered.
My chest tightened. They were such amazing friends. I should have told them earlier.
I stepped out of the car. "Guys, there's something I have to tell you."
Madison, standing by the driver's side door now, frowned. "What is it?"
Gemma's eyes narrowed. "You're not secretly in love with me are you?"
Layla elbowed her. "Of course not," she drawled. "She's in love with me."
"Ellie, tell us what's wrong," Madison said.
I inhaled, then began. "Guys, Iâ"
A surprised squeal drew their attention away. I frowned, my gaze following theirs. Students had begun to gather at the front doors of the school. But they weren't going insideâthey were staring at something.
More students were moving in that direction, surprised chatter floating through the air.
Madison's brows furrowed. "What are they staring at?"
"Let's go find out," Gemma declared, turning and striding in the direction of the crowd.
I frowned as we followed.
Students started to glance back at us. One of them snickered. Confusion rolled over me.
Gemma navigated through the crowd, creating a path for us. The closer we got to whatever was attracting the students' attention, the more eyes slid to us.
No not us. They were all staring at me.
Gemma's gasp returned my gaze ahead.
At first, all I noticed was Catherine, a camera hung around her neck, a smirk stretched over her face.
Then my eyes fell on the poster on the wall.
I froze.
In gleaming colours, on a massive poster, was a picture of Will and I kissing.

Sorry guys, its a short chapter. I wanted to wait till I finished writing all of BATGB before I started posting again, but you guys wanted me to update and I felt so bad so here it is :)
