Chloe wore a pure white wedding dress. It was simple yet elegant, it bared her shoulders and the sparkling diamond necklace in front of her chest was dazzling. Her long diamond earrings swayed as she waltzed, and her skin looked milk white with the accessories. The elegant tube top held her slim waist, her jet black hair and snow white dress complemented each other well.
Noah was wearing a military uniform. He was young and gave the impression of an honest young man in uniform. He gave the impression of being shy and pure, but at the same time a mature gentleman. He was like the sun, his eyes were bright and dazzling.
He looked very handsome in the army uniform, he looked fresh even when he walked.
Noah and Chloe walked hand in hand. Noahâs fellow soldiers formed a line and stood to the sides, they used their hands to form an arched doorway and slowly opened them. They slowly walked in.
Dolores was sitting in the back row. She looked up, saw the scene and smiled.
Army peopleâs weddings always looked serious to her. She reached out and grabbed Matthewâs hand, âOur sons, I hope one of them becomes a soldier.â
Matthew replied that he would like to respect the childrenâs choice. If they wanted to do it, he wouldnât stop them. But if they didnât want to, he wouldnât force them.
âHe looked different compared to back then, he looked more manly now. Before he was an idol, he was handsome but more feminine. Now he looked more manly. Dolores commented about Noah.
Step into new worlds at g Ɐ lnÏ Î½ð® âsâ¤conn The presenter introduced the coupleâs past to the guest. They knew each other since they were kids, their family got along well and so they were very close growing up. Their parents were very happy with their marriage.
People would only realize, after a long time, that fame, fortune and grievances are nothing but problems that people bring upon themselves. When they learned to let go, they knew that true happiness was living in peace and health.
Today, people only want power, fame and fortune.
A normal person would want money, cars and property.
But they didnât calm down and think about what they didnât have. They were not sick, there was no calamity, wasnât that great too?
A person had to experience things, only after that, would they understand how important peace and health was.
Chloe and Noah were best friends and now they were married. Things went awry at one point, but they put it behind them.
After the host finished his speech, the bride and groom would have to take their oath. Some people skip this part.
The host said loud and clear, âThe groom will now take his oath.â
They handed the microphone to Noah. He held the microphone and thanked his parents first, âDear parents, thank you for bringing me into the world, thank you for raising me. I was a bad child and made a lot of mistakes when I was young. I am very grateful that you tolerate and forgive me.â Marina pursed her lips and her eyes turned red.
Jeffery was teary-eyed too, but he softly shouted to his wife, âWhy are you crying? Itâs a happy occasion, donât cry.â
Marina replied, âIâm crying for happiness.â
The father and son used to treat each other as enemies. Now, the son was more filial and the father was kinder. This was Marinaâs greatest wish.
She felt relief that this day had come.
âDonât cry, even if they are happy tears. There are a lot of people around at this time.â
âSo what, itâs not embarrassing,â Marina said as she looked at her son who was standing on the stage. She was crying because she was moved, who was going to talk bad about her for this?
Noah then gave a glance at Dolores.
âOther than my parents, I would also like to thank someone else.â After Dolores came, only then did he realize that Dolores didnât lie to him, she was really sick.
âShe was sick and still attended my wedding. Iâm so happy.â
Doloresâ eyes turned red. She thought of the day she got married, of the moment Noah showed up at the wedding ceremony. She tried her best to smile.
âThank you for coming to witness an important chapter in my life.â Noah bowed to her.
Then he took Chloeâs hand, âWeâve grown up together and weâre bonded as a family, like siblings. It is fate that we will end up getting married. We care for each other very much and Iâm grateful that my father-in-law and mother-in-law trust me and give her to me.â
Noah bowed to Eddie and his wife.
Eddie nodded repeatedly, he was pleased with his son-in-law.
Mrs. Chambers wept. It seemed that women cried more easily, they cried when they felt touched.
The men felt touched inside, but tried to hold back the tears.
Noah finished his swearing and passed the microphone to Chloe.
Chloe has changed a lot. As a little girl she was spoiled, arrogant and stubborn. Now she was more mature and stable, not as impetuous as before.
She got up on stage and stood quietly. She raised the microphone and said slowly, âEveryone had to go through something first, only then did they grow up. I grew up late. I did a lot of bad things and hurt a lot of people. I want to take this opportunity to apologize to the people I hurt before. Please forgive my naivety back then, when I was young. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for attending Noahâs wedding and mine.â
Chloe glanced at Dolores and Matthew, then gave a slight bow.
She wanted to break up the family then and hurt Dolores.
She felt sorry.
âWhen God closed one of your doors, he opened another,â she said as she turned to look at Noah, âThank you for tolerating me. Thank you for standing by me when I was down and lost. Thank you for accepting me even after discovering all my flaws. Thank you for marrying me.â
