Abbott remained seated, âYou can speak directly. Thereâs no one outside here. No one else would hear you.â
Emmaâs expression gradually turned cold, âWhy, why are you so afraid of me, Iâm going to swallow you alive?â
Abbott was hiding her. She wasnât a tigress, was she?
Abbott looked at her for a few seconds in silence. To make her trust him, he sniffed, moved to sit beside her and smiled, âWhy are you so mean?â
Emma snorted, âAbbott, did you lie to me by agreeing to help me?â
âI didnât. I really didnât lie to you.â Abbott had a flattering smile, âI planned to quit. To help you, I didnât quit, I became an undercover agent for you, whatâs your plan?â
As long as he knew her plan, he would solve the problem in advance.
Emma thought for a moment, âIâm not crazy, but Iâm upset and frustrated that my family has been broken. I know the law has to punish me for breaking the law, but I cannot be indifferent to those who have destroyed my family but continue to lead a happy life. Itâs not against the law to destroy the couple and make them break up, is it?â
At least, he hadnât heard of any mistresses being imprisoned.
Abbott was speechless.
gⱯlnÏνð®ðsâ¤com is your escape to fiction In his opinion, there were plenty of mistresses in this world. If being a woman was against the law, he wondered if the number would decrease.
He wished vividly for such a law to be announced.
Destroying the families of others was moral corruption. Violating the property of others should be defined as a crime.
However, Abbott only hoped for that. It was unrealistic. The most important thing now was to know Emmaâs plan.
âWhat do you plan to do?â asked Abbott.
Emma looked at him, âYou work closely with Matthew Nelson, and he trusts you a great deal, doesnât he?â
âOf course. Otherwise, I wouldnât stay in his company for so long,â Abbott said.
Emma leaned over, leaned close to his ear and whispered, âTake Matthew Nelson to the Grand Hyatt Hotel and knock him unconscious, no matter if you stuff him with alcohol, drug him or otherwise. Youâd better pile him up with booze, make a drunken scene and show his wife Dolores Flores. She must get it wrong seeing Matthew Nelson and another woman lying in bed naked.â
Abbott recoiled a little, feeling a shiver run through his body, âAre you sure youâll be that brazen?â
He had to admit that this woman was too dirty, and even men couldnât compare to her.
Emma grabbed him by the collar and leaned toward him, âWhy are you hesitating again?â
Abbott said honestly, âYou are too shameless.â
Emma laughed, âAre you jealous?â
Abbott looked at her, his gaze fell on her shirt collar which was open because she was bent over. He could see her curves. Despite Emmaâs ill intentions, as a woman, she was quite attractive.
At least Abbott was feeling turned on by her now.
He looked away, âIf I admit Iâll get jealous, will you give it up?â
Emma flashed a bright smile, feeling very pleased, âYouâre my man. Of course, Iâm not going to have sex with another man. Besides, I wouldnât make myself an obvious target. As long as I spend some money, a lot of women in nightclubs will want to do it. I donât need to do it myselfâ¦â
As she spoke, she let go of him. Her fingers moved to his neck.
Touching his chest, she said delightedly, âAbbott, are you a man?â
Abbott said stiffly, âYou donât know if Iâm a man or not?â
Emma laughed, âI know.â
She leaned lower, almost pressing Abbott, âDonât you want to do something on a night like this?â
Abbott glanced out the window. It was completely dark outside. Only the colored neon lights flickered, making the sky.
He slowly withdrew his gaze and asked quietly, âDo you know what youâre doing?â
âWeâre both adults. We can do whatever we want. Do I need to consider anything else?â Her lips moved to Abbottâs chin. He pecked it gently, âIâm not asking you to take responsibility. When youâre done doing me a favor and if you want me to disappear from your world, I wonât bother you.â
Abbott narrowed his eyes, âWoman, you are so boring. After youâve slept with me, do you want to disappear?â.
Emma undid the buttons of his shirt and said with a smile, âWe are not lovers or a couple. We donât have any business relationship. We are sort of sex partners. If youâre interested, I can have sex with you without falling in love with you. After all, I like you very much.â Her last sentence was full of seduction.
Abbott felt quite horny. It was a little hard for him to bear. In the end, he gave in. Carrying her in his arms, he headed for the bedroom.
After they had sex, Abbott went to take a shower. Emma was curled up on the comforter naked. She still had a blush on her face that hadnât gone away. She was quite sleepy, but she hadnât fallen asleep yet, she just felt quite sluggish.
Abbott came out of the bathroom in his robe after more than ten minutes.
âAbbott, letâs be sex partners, shall we?â
Abbott neither accepted nor declined. He said, âYou can sleep here tonight.â
Even though she was naked, Emma pulled up the comforter, reached down and grabbed Abbottâs waist. Clinging to him tightly, she lifted her head and kissed him on the lips, âIf you donât answer my question, Iâll take that as a yes. In the future, if I need it, I will come to you.â
Abbott patted her buttocks, âDo you want to take a shower?â
Emma shook her head. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she moved closer to him and whispered in his ear, âI like having your scent on me.â Abbott looked down at her, pressing his lips tightly together.
He slept with her because he was a normal man. He had a physical desire for a woman. It was a purely physiological reaction.
However, as he listened to her words, he felt something else in his heart.
He was not attracted to her beautiful and merely said casually, âGo ahead and sleep.â
Emma tucked the comforter around her again. He asked, âWhat about you?â
âI have to go out on some business.â Abbott approached the bed, reaching out to stroke her cheeks, âYou wonât be able to fall asleep in someone elseâs bed?â
âI may suffer from insomnia in someone elseâs bed, but Iâll sleep peacefully in yours.â She curved her lips, âGo about your business.â
Abbott took a deep breath, rolled over and got out of bed. As he reached out to open the door, Emma asked, âWill you be back tonight?â
Abbott paused, but did not turn away. He replied, âYes.â He felt quite guilty and didnât dare look her in the eye.
After all, he was going to meet with Matthew. They would already discuss how to deal with her.
Abbott changed his clothes. He didnât return to the bedroom before heading straight out of his apartment.
He drove to the hospital. After more than ten minutes, he arrived. He parked the car, pushed the door and got out.
He took the elevator to the VIP inpatient department on the twenty-eighth floor. He pulled out his phone and wanted to call Matthew. Since he was visiting at the time, he was afraid of disturbing Dolores.
It would be better to call Matthew outside the room and have a conversation.
She dialed the number. When a beep sounded on the phone, he also heard the dial tone. She looked in the direction of the tone, only to discover that Matthew and Armand were sitting on the bench in the hallway. He hung up the phone and walked over.
