Matthew carried Dolores in his arms and went upstairs. Then, they entered the room.
Dolores was sleeping soundly. It didnât look like she was going to wake up any time soon.
Matthew laid her down on the bed. In a haze, she seemed to know she was lying in bed. So she rolled over and snuggled into the blanket.
Matthew frowned. He leaned over to look at her.
She rested her head on her side. Her palm-sized face was white as porcelain.
Her eyelashes were very long. They cast a shadow as she lay back.
Her lips were naturally red. She was indescribably irresistible.
gⱯlnÏνð®âsâ¤cóm is your escape She lowered her head to peck her lips. Doloresâ brows furrowed as her lips were suddenly touched. She hummed, âHmmâ¦.â
She opened her eyes groggily and saw Matthewâs face standing near her. Drowsiness rushed over her and she still wasnât awake. Without much force, she sounded flirtatious instead, âIâm sleepy.â
Her voice was husky from being newly awake, but it was also gentle and soft. It was indescribably seductive.
Matthew didnât pull away from her lips and moaned faintly.
His kiss was not deep, but very passionate. Dolores could clearly feel his heavy breathing.
Instinctively she felt nervous. She no longer felt so sleepy.
Matthew was too aggressive and dominant in sex. She was always exhausted by his âloveâ every time.
âMatthewâ¦Iâm so sleepy,â she spoke cautiously.
Matthew sucked on her lips and asked vaguely, âWhat did you call me?â.
Doloresâ head felt dizzy. She didnât realize what he wanted to hear at that moment, so she just casually replied, âI called you Matthew.â
She thought to herself, was she supposed to call him by his full name, Matthew Nelson?
âHmmâ¦â
She suddenly felt a cold sensation in her body as her skirt ripped. She hurried to try to cover herself.
Matthew, however, was quicker. He grabbed both of her hands and pressed them against the headboard of the bed. He looked down at her from above. He spoke in a threatening tone, âSay that again. What did you call me?â
Dolores trembled as he spoke, âHuâ¦. hubby?â
He raised his eyebrow and felt very excited. It was as if he had light all around him. The corners of his lips curved. He was very happy.
Dolores knew he was in a good mood now, so she took the initiative to lean close to him and act tender, âI want to sleep.â
When Matthew kissed her upper eyelid, Dolores closed her eyes as it tickled.
Matthew smiled and touched her hair, âGo to sleep.â
Dolores took the initiative to kiss his cheek to please him, âIâm going to sleep now.â
Matthew looked as happy as a young man who had just fallen in love for the first time.
However, Dolores, who was about to go to sleep, did not see him act like that.
Matthew took off her shoes. His feet were fair and small.
At this point, Dolores had not yet fallen asleep. His touch tickled her, but she didnât move. She was enjoying Matthewâs service at this moment.
The corners of her lips curled unconsciously.
Slowly she drifted off to sleep when she heard Matthew enter the bathroom to shower. Before she fell asleep, she felt the mattress on her back sink. Soon, a strong arm was around her, then a warm, sturdy chest pressed against her back. Since they were close to each other, she could smell the fragrance of his body wash.
She slept in that atmosphere and woke up late in the morning. It was already almost nine oâclock. She went to bed too late last night. Thatâs why he wasnât able to wake up in the morning.
Normally, Matthew should have left for the company by this time, but today he still hadnât left. He sat up and asked, âDonât you have to go to the company today?â.
Matthew stood in front of the full-length mirror and tied his tie. He took a moment to look at her, âItâs all taken care of over there. Theresa Gordon can leave today.â
Dolores climbed off the bed and jumped on his back. She hugged him from behind with her face pressed against his back, âThank you.â
Matthew looked straight ahead and continued to fix her neck. âHow are you going to thank me?â he asked.
Dolores turned in front of him and reached out to fix his tie, âNext time leave this kind of thing to me.â
She was a fashion designer herself, so she had no problem doing this kind of thing.
She tied his tie and buttoned his suit.
Then she smoothed the collars of the suit. She was very pleased with her masterpiece.
She stepped back to admire it. It was slim yet wide. His waist was very narrow and he had no flabby belly. It matched the firm lines of her hips. He looked balanced and straight.
The lovely ceiling lights merged with Matthewâs straight body in a line. He had an elegant yet rebellious look. His greatest assets in seducing women were his wealth, power and looks.
He had to admit that a successful man with a handsome face was truly charming.
Matthew was pleased by her admiration. He smiled and asked, âAre you satisfied with me?â
Dolores pretended to be very serious. She nodded with a poker face, âYouâre fine.â
âIâm fine?â
Why did she look like she wasnât satisfied?
Dolores grabbed his neck and lifted her head to kiss his chin. âI like you a lot.â
She had to admit that she really liked this man.
Matthew smiled. He wrapped his arms around her slender waist, âArenât you going to change your clothes?â
Dolores nodded immediately. Theresaâs business was important.
She told him to wait for her. Then, she hurried into the bathroom after grabbing her clothes. She came out after washing and dressing.
Matthew had already arranged everything. Now they just needed to get Theresa on the plane.
At the hospital, Matthew let Abbott Baron go to the hospital to take care of Theresaâs business after receiving a call from there. Abbott had already taken care of everything by the time they arrived.
Theresa was accompanied by the hospital medical staff. They would return again after sending her there.
The car, stretcher and entourage were ready. As soon as they got inside, Abbott approached and asked, âItâs all taken care of. We can leave for the airport at any time.â
Dolores asked, âWhat time is the flight?â
âWeâve chartered the flight. We can arrange the time ourselves,â Abbott replied.
Dolores opened her mouth but was speechless for a moment, âSince itâs already arranged, then letâs go.â
Theresaâs treatment was not to be delayed. The sooner it was done, the better.
Abbott said yes.
It took only half an hour for Dolores to arrive at the hospital and send Theresa to the airport.
Theresa was lying on the stretcher someone was carrying. The doctors were also with her. Then Dolores walked her to the gate, âIâll come see you if I have time.â
Theresa said yes. She did not express her gratitude because she felt that the two words, thank you, were not enough to express what she felt inside.
âYou rest well. Everything will be fine,â Dolores shook her hand, âIâll wait for you to come back and help me manage the boutique.â
âMhm,â Theresa replied.
Tears filled her eyes.
Dolores watched the plane take off not long after Theresa was brought onto the plane.
Two grown men were standing in an inconspicuous corner of the airport lobby. One looked serious, while the other looked sad.
If Boyce Shawn hadnât pulled him back, Armand Bernie would have already come running over.
He watched Theresa walk away, but could do nothing.
No pain could describe what he felt.
He knew. He knew it would be best for Theresaâs state of mind if he didnât show up.
Yet he himself was filled with remorse.
He had only seen her once since she had been rescued. It was even when she was still unconscious. He didnât even get a chance to talk to her after she woke up.
Theresa didnât want to see him.
He suddenly rushed in front of Dolores.
Boyce let his guard down since Theresa was already gone. However, he didnât expect her to suddenly run out.
He was afraid that Armand might say something inappropriate to Dolores because Theresa was gone. So he was quick to say, âArmand Bernie!â
