Gideon looked at the woman’s stubborn face and frowned.

Freya reached her hand out and pushed him aside hard before walking into the residence.

However, the man continued pulling her, so she asked, “What do you want?”

Gideon spoke coldly as he reminded her, “When we were at the old folks’ home, you had the brains to hold my hand like we were married. What about now?”

Freya felt this man was incapable of getting straight to the point.

However, Freya reluctantly held his arm.

The two of them headed inside the residence.

The moment they entered through the door, Freya saw Isaac sitting in the living room. She moved her hand slightly as she held Gideon’s arm and said softly in complete surprise, “Isn’t that the superstar, Jerry? What’s he doing here?”

Gideon did not expect such a huge reaction from her on seeing Isaac. He looked a little irritated as he glanced at her with a complicated expression on his face. “What’s the big deal?”

Freya pursed her lips. “Okay then…”

Charles and Evelyn looked over at them. “Over here.”

Freya let go of Gideon’s arm and ran up to Charles and Evelyn and said sweetly, “Mom, Dad, my bad. I was late.”

“Becky…” Freya’s voice suddenly went soft.

Gideon had already walked over. He looked at Rebecca and Freya coldly before saying to Freya, “She is your older sister-in-law.”

“No need to get so serious. I already knew Freya a long time ago. She always calls me Becky.”

Charles clearly did not expect them to be acquainted. He smiled slightly. “Rebecca, do you know her?”

“Ido. When I was in university, I…”

Freya looked at Rebecca and interrupted her. “We knew each other when we were in university. Rebecca was my senior.”

Freya looked at Rebecca. She recalled something and was at a loss, but now was not the time to talk about it.

Rebecca looked at Freya and then she looked at Charles and Evelyn and nodded. She chimed in, “Uh huh. We have known each other for a long time.”

“It was quite the coincidence for you to marry into the family then since Rebecca is your older brother-in-law’s wife. From now on, we are family. It’s just that she will be your senior.” Charles smiled and seemed to be in quite a good mood.

Freya looked at Ethan and Rebecca. “Nice to meet you. It is our first time meeting, but I kept you waiting. I am so sorry.”

Freya apologized sincerely before she turned to Isaac and Madison and smiled apologetically.

Isaac waved his hand at Freya. He was tall and handsome and gave off a guileless air. As he spoke, he smiled mysteriously. “Freya, I am Isaac Carter. I am the third child in the family, so I am your third younger brother.”

He shrugged and smiled even more deeply. “But you can just call me Isaac.”
