You didn't actually think that happened did you?

No. One could wish. It turned out completely different. Instead of her actually hearing me out she just slammed the door in my face. Leaving me alone in the hall. But I wasn't going to give up that easy.

I stayed outside her door for hours, and when she finally came out, she nearly tripped over me. "Jesus Megan!"

"Will you finally talk to me?"

"No." Brushing past me, she bounded down the stairs. Following her, I stood back a few feet. I didn't want to get too close. I just wanted to understand why she was upset. In my little weird daydream, it turned out a whole lot different than this.

"Why won't you talk to me?"

"Because I can't stand to look at you." Her words cut through me like a knife. Acting as a fuse to the rage I've been feeling about this whole thing.

"I'm sorry, you can't stand looking at me?" Stepping into the kitchen I blocked her way out. I wanted to man sure she heard what I had to say. "As I seem to recall, I have done nothing but try to be your friend, and you have been treating me like I kicked your puppy or something. And yes, I get what I said was fucked up, and I'm sorry for that. If I could take it back I would. But I'm not the only one WO needs to apologize. You owe me an explanation." Narrowing my eyes, I watched as Skye searched for the right words.

"I'm sorry." She said quietly, shifting her eyes to the floor.

"What's been going on?"

"Nothing." Staring her down, she continued. "Its nothing. I've just been in a mood is all."

"Well, are you done ignoring me?"

"No."

"Skye."

"Yes."

"Promise?"

"Yeah."

"Are we good?"

"Yeah."

Smiling, I walked away and to Sloans room. I felt good that whatever was going on between Skye and I is behind us. It was really starting to get under my skin. Her ignoring me and me not knowing what I did. I felt like there was more behind it, but I didn't want to pry. She would tell me on her own time. I hope.

"Took you long enough."

"Well, she slammed the door in my face, so I waited her out." She looked confused, so I told her what happened. She seemed happier knowing that her sister and best friend were kinda friends.

If only she knew about my crazy daydream. Actually, now that I think about it, I started freaking out about it.

What does it mean? That I like Skye? That I have feelings for her? 'Cause of course I like her, but just as a friend right? Of course its just as a friend. I'd be crazy. Getting feeling for my best friends sister. Especially since I already promised her I wouldn't.

Besides, she's already with Bailey. No matter how much I hate the idea of it, even if I did have feelings for her, I can't ask her to cheat.

"So, tomorrow is the big game. Who are you going with?" Sloan has been excited about this game for the longest time. Its the home game against her boyfriends school. She wanted to show off for him.

"Me, Myself, And I." I answered. Earning a slap to the back of my head.

"Fine, since you and my sister are on good terms now, you can go with her."

"What about Bailey?"

"What about her?"

"Won't she get upset?"

"About what? Skye going to the football game with her friend while she's out fucking some dude?" She said coldly.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean Bailey is a slut. She isn't to b trusted. I know two guys she's slept with since getting with Skye."

"You haven't told her?"

"Of course I have. She doesn't believe it. Of course, my sister finally falls for someone, trusts them, and they turn out to be a major slut who is probably full of disease." Tossing her phone beside her, she began painting her nails for tomorrow. Ironing her uniform to make sure everything was in pristine shape.

After everything is settled, we fall into a pitful sleep.

"Come on, you don't even wanna go to one game with your boyfriend?" My stomach was turning at the thought of Evan ever being my boyfriend again.

"Fuck off ass! She hasn't been your girlfriend for months! Move on!" Sloan declared a bit too loudly. Earning a alight glare from the art teacher.

"Chill bitch, I was talking to her, not you. I'll let you know if I wanted my dick sucked."

"Excuse me?!" Raising her voice, I put my arm out to stop her from doing anything stupid. It was a miracle I held myself together this long, I didn't want to be without my best friend when I did finally loose it.

"You need to move." I felt myself relax at the sound of Skye's voice. I think this was the first time she ever left the other side of the room.

"Excuse me?"

"Move." Her voice stern and full of malice. She genuinely looked pissed.

"I'm not moving." Evan said, as if daring Skye to do something.

"You are going to move. But only after you apologize to my sister." I was scared myself at the sound of her voice. It sure made me think twice of truly getting on Skye's bad side.

"And if I don't?" Again challenging her, he leaned back in the chair he was sitting in. Another thing that's happened in the last few weeks, Evan has become relentless in trying to get me back. Which will never be a thing that happens, but I still want him to apologize. I think that will be good for me.

"You will." Skye spat back. After an intense stare down, Evan stood slowly, eying me as he grabbed his things.

"Whatever Sluts."

If you had blinked, you would have missed it. The swift elegant movement of Skye's hand, reaching up and across. Delivering a hard jab to his face. The next moment Even on the ground, holding his bloody face in his hands.

The next several minutes was a combination of the teacher kicking Skye out of the classroom. Writing a nurse pass for Evan. Literally the only time she actually gets up out of her chair, is when there was a fight. Or they're serving nachos.

I didn't see much of them throughout the rest of the day.

Sloan had plenty to say about the topic though. "And then Skye came over, and bam! Knocked his ass to the ground."

We were sitting in the cafeteria, just talking, when Lillia asked Sloan about what happened. "Woah, no way! I didn't know she was such a bad ass."

"Neither did I."

Feeling withdrawn from the conversation I just plugged in my head phones, looking around at the semi full courtyard. Our lunch was after fourth period, so the day was already halfway over. There was nothing special out today, except for Bailey walking with poor little Evan.

Eying them suspiciously I nearly jumped out of my seat when they turned the corner. Muttering a quick "I'll be right back," I jogged over carefully. I didn't want to run an risk them hearing me coming.

Feeling like a spy, I inched closer and closer until my eyes barely peeked out on the other side.

Bailey and Evan were lip locked. Pressing against each other. Nearly gagging, I took my phone out, snapping a quick shot. I knew Skye wouldn't believe me without proof. Or if she did, she'd get all pissed and she'd need someone to talk to.

'You're just looking for a reason to talk to her.'

Shut up brain.

'You know its true.'

Whatever.

Walking back to the table, I jerked Sloans arm, sliding her my phone. "I fucking knew it!" She proclaimed, pounding her fist on the table.

"Knew what?" Lillia asked.

"That Skye's new girlfriend is a disease infested whore." Laughing at her words, I got up and headed toward the bathroom with Sloan.

I know it's bad to feel good about catching someone cheating, but I felt relieved. Realizing that I don't want Skye dating anyone else.

Maybe I do have feelings for her.
