My mom came and waked me up....by 11.00a.m..... I done my usual routines..... Today is my sangeet function.... And went out of my room to see ...only my mom.... Preparing lunch...
I went up to kitchen ,where she is now....
Me-" where are others?" No one is even their in their room... Even uncle and aunties.... And grandma's...
Mom-"everyone of us are having some work to take care... And have the lunch... Even you have your appointments with sumathi aunty and then with neha aunty... Where Preeti and bhanu will come and meet you... "
Me-" I think even Preeti and bhanu are having meeting with sumathi aunty.. If it is about the dress.."
Mom-" I know about that.... They met her and got their dress as their first work in the morning.... Not like you sleeping tightly..."
Me-" fine..... But who is going to take me there..."
Mom-" sesh had send a car with a driver... And he will take you around .... And get you to the sangeet..... Take some cash with you.... The car is waiting out for you for the past 10 minutes .... You have to complete eating by another 10minutes and start going.... "
Me-" great mom..... " and eat my brunch quickly....and got ready in another 15 minutes...and as I was wearing the slipper.... I saw my mom getting the drivers number.... To contact me... As I broke my mobile....and said bye to her and I left....
You see when we went to sumathi aunty shop yesterday..... She asked me what colour dress I want for sangeet and I said white.... And she asked me what type it should... I just asked my cousins help... And they came to some decision and didn't said me... And to see tomorrow.... And my sisters to said what they like to wear...... Today she must have called me to see whether the dress fits me or not..... Stupid sisters.... Left me and went to buy their dress as a first work in the morning....
We reached sumathi aunty shop... She welcomed me... And we were sitting in opposite to each other with a table in between us....
Sumathi-" ketu.... I called you to know... What you like discuss about the dresses you want to wear for your mehndi function and wedding functions...."
Me-" oh ... Not to see the fitting for my today's dress..."
Sumathi-" no.... I think yesterday your dress was in perfect fitting.... I saw that how yash was eye rapping you...." I blushed at her statement..... " you looked gorgeous and beautiful yesterday..."
Me-"thanks.."
Sumathi-"your dress for today will also fits like yesterday.... Don't worry.... Me and your cousins seen dress for any more correction and it's just now sent to neha with your cousins costumes....."
Me-" oh.... "
Then sumathi asked me about the colors for the dresses I need to wear on the occasions.... And I said the type of the dress is their choice.. And i left the place and went to neha aunty's parlour......
I reached the parlour and asked the receptionist for neha aunty..... And neha aunty came and took me to a room... Not were I was yesterday... When I asked she said that it was occupied and I am the first to reach.... And bhanu and Preeti have not came still... And neha aunty said I reached too early...
Neha-" hey do you have any special style in your mind.... Or you wanted to do something in your marriage as your dream..."
Me-" actually... Nothing..... But I wanted to polish my nails in Classic French style..... But right now..... I don't have long nails to have it...."
Neha-" no problem..... We can make it to appear on your nails... We have false nails.... We can make use of it..."
Me-" can you really do it...?"
Neha-" sure... We can do it... Wait I will ask whether we have stock or not?" And she called someone and asked... And they said there is no stock and she asked them to go and buy them and come....
Neha-" ketu... I asked them to buy it.... But I don't think I can make it today... But I will make that tomorrow .... Is it okay?"and as she said banu,Preeti to came and asked what we are speaking and we said the about the false nails...and when I asked them were they are coming from they said they came from taking care of the arrangement... Nothing less nothing more is said by them.... We went and got ready.... After getting ready aunty neha opened the mirror for us to see us...
My dress fitted perfectly. It's a pure white lehenga, blouse, transparent white dupatta which are heavily worked with crystals, pearls, diamonds,gems... The lehenga has many layers....The blouse has a 3/4th hand which is made of the same cloth variety of dupatta... The blouse has a wide neck at the back and has a knot design at the back... And thank god I have left my hair in floating... My hair is braided in French braid style in the head which is beaded to highlight and straightened & left free in the bottom.... And I have wearied diamond set to match the dress... An in total I look great.... But will yash like me?... Oh god what's happening to me... I have never really given this much thought to my dressing... Why should I think about yash....
Preeti-"ketu... You are looking stunning..."
Bhanu-" s... Ketu " and I smiled at them... And thanked them and neha... And just smiled at us...
Bhanu-" do we look good?" They are giving extra importance to their look... As they are Fiancé's is coming today to the function...
They both are wearing ghagra choli worked with pearls and crystals....Same model fitting perfectly and showing their prefect structure... Preeti is wearing a light green color with free hair....and matching jewellery while bhanu is wearing a light pink color with free hair and matching jewellery.....
Me-" you girls are charming "they smiled at me at thanked me and we started to the venue...
the venue is a beach house...Owned by them... As we reached there as usual they took aarti to me... And I reached to the garden of the house... Where the party is taking pace... The chairs wher arranged in banquet styles in a c-shape in three sides with the fourth side for the DJ and the gap in the middle and at the back of banquet to one side is buffet...
When someone said that the bride is entering, I reached to the view of the mass and everyone cheered I saw yash getting up of the chair in the front row of the middle side... And turned towards me and smiled.. I walked towards him..
He is wearing a stylish white indo modern sherwani designed to match my dress not heavy as mine.... With a bad boy hairstyle... He looked like a model....
As I reached him he pulled the chair for me to sit... Like a gentle man... And we sited... We are seated together but in different tables... That is in my table... It's me, varun, chandu, Preeti, bhanu, praveen, Gokul, Nadan and in yash's table him, sesh, jai, deepu, and some of his friends Gowtham and his wife swathi, sharth , prasana, Vicky.... they are good to speak with
All the boys are in sherwani and we girls are in ghagra... We all didn't decided to wear like this... But some how we all made like this... And we all were speaking
And we stopped as someone came and started saying that we welcome everyone and there is going to be a dance program.....
And a music started.... And a group of girls came and done a welcome dance.... It was nice...
Then a karnatic music was sung by a famous singer... Thank god she went with my favourites not some boring songs...
Then a group came and danced to a fusion...was nice to see and they were good dancers....
Then came yoni and anisha... Dancing for dil mera muft ka from agent Vinod and anish came and took it over with Dard e disco from om shanti om.... And then all danced together for Navrai majhi from English vinglish..... They were rocking and we all cheered them.... And the ordinance were roaring with applauses....
Then came yash friends in the stage... I didn't notice them leaving to the stage.... They hit the stage with desi boys.... And we all laughed and cheered them too.... They too danced well..
Then the stage is took over by yash cousin sisters.... They didn't talked with... They are all looking good... They didn't showed any liking towards me... I don't know why... He has five cross cousin sisters they are Payal, zavitha, nikkitha, Sonal, eshika.... They started dancing for nagada sang dhol from ram leela...they are mazing... Dancing with the same beat of fastness in the film... God I don't think I can do that in a stretch.... Suddenly nikkitha came and kept a tilak in yash face at the place where actress in the film keeps the actor... When it she sings the line come dance with me... And now all his sisters took him to the stage.... Really they gave me a look says stupid... And took him to the stage he is just standing there not dancing but smiling at them... Stupid yash... Suddenly nikkitha came and took his hand with her started clapping there hands and the song got over and everyone are laughing... And cheering.... And thats when varun placed his hand over my hands... And I saw him...he smiled..
Varun-"don't get tense... It's just a dance..." He said with a fun note... For others.. But his eyes meant to me not to show my worries openly... He knows me well more than I know him
Me-"I am not tense" meaning to him I try...everyone around us laughed...yash came back and took his seat.. And turned towards me to speak... But I didn't acknowledge him at all.... And others are saying the girls done well.... I didn't like harshika because she showed attitude towards to deepu.... But why I am in anger with these girls... More specifically nikkitha... Why I don't want to talk to yash?....
Suddenly aathichuddi song for TN 07 AL 4777 and varun, Nadan, praveen, sesh, chand, Gokul, karan, jai moved towards the stage and started dancing.... They rocked as we are cheering them... They finished and came and took the seats...
And Preeti, bhanu, deepu, swathi... Took the stage... With radhai manathil from sneghitye....and dancing getting wolf whistles to them......And they finished and went to the food court to get water...
As they were drinking water guys again started dancing to balle balle from bride and prejustice as like the song in the movie... The girls started coming towards them... And said wait symbol with their hands... And they teased and danced the boys... Then the boys tease them... And the girls suddenly grabbed me and took me to the stage and guys grabbed yash hands and dragged him to the stage to... We being in the centre... They started forming circle around us and started dancing.... Yash friend joined and other youngsters in the halls too joined in the circles....... Yoni, anish, anisha, and their age peoples to started.... And suddenly my mom started get up from her seat and started mouthing to the song and dancing and at first my dad tried to control her... But then he to went with the enjoyment and started dancing...... Then everyone who came got up and started to spin in pairs..... Yash he took my hands and we started to spin too....
And as the song ended... Everyone came and seated in our chairs.... And I asked my sisters... This was what you took care leaving me alone.... Then it's wroth it... And said you guys rocked it.... And everyone came and congratulated them.... And we didn't noticed the absence of varun and sesh....
Varun and sesh-" ladies and gentlemen's now the most awaited dance of the evening has came..... Now I welcome the bride and the groom to take the stage...."
What what the hell.... What dance... I can't dance without any choreography before these many people.... Oh god... Wat are these two stupidest doing in the stage.... Blabbing out something as they have mike..... The girls pushed me to the stage... And the boys pushed yash towards the stage.....I looked at yash... And saw the confusion in his face too.... Now great... They made us a great stupid... Thanks bros... And everyone are cheering for us... What are they expecting to dance... When I am not even in speaking terms with him.....
The light went off.... The dancing jodi music from rab ne bana de jodi started playing in the background... The show light focused yash and he had a face that says he is remembering something and a sadness touch in it and then the light focused me too... And his expression changed into something as soon as he saw me which I can't find out....
He smiled at me...And took my hands in his and spun me towards him and placed my one hand in his waist and he kept his hand in my waist ..... I looked him... And we locked our eyes...And we are moving in synchronising to the beat of the music...and I Cut the contact as I can't tolerate the intensity..... I tried to make a space between us and as I was about to do it.... he pulled me towards him ..... and he swing us side to side with me in his front.... And he took my hands in his and swing our hand to and fro motion and rotated it... And lifted me up and spun us around and he put me down and he twisted me and spun me towards him...I fell on his shoulder due to the suddenness
Yash-" I hope you forgive me" whispered in my right hear .....why is he asking forgiveness to me... I looked at him... We locked our eyes and he steadied me and bent me downwards and as I was about to touch the ground he tightened the grip nd pulled me back and twisted me and left my hand and as I lost my grip and was about to fall .... Yash caught me in his shoulder
Yash-" and you will speak with me " whispered in my left ear... So he was asking forgiveness as he thought I am not speaking because that he done some mistake... So sweet yash... I smirked at him.. And I was moving away to maKe space....
When he caught my hand and pulled me towards him and lifted me in bridal position
Yash-' where do you think you can go away smirkingly .... Without saying anything...?" And spun us again ... And placed me down and I was unsteady and I was about to fall on my back... When yash caught me in his hand... And winked at me to say answer... As I am not saying anything... He loosened the grip and I was about to fall off in the ground....
Me-" yaaaasssshhhhhh..." I blurted out without thinking... He tightened his grip... And he was now smirking at me... Idiotic yash...he then spun me to his other hand...
Yash-"that's good ketu...." Said.. And we both laughed And he moved the hair in front of my face" you are looking like an angel" and I blushed at it... The song ended with the words rab ne bana de jodi( it's a match made by god)...
Me-" good... That you complimented me..." I said as he was steadying me... And everyone are standing and giving us a round of applause... And some were giving us wolf whistle.... And everyone congratulated us.... We went to our table... And everyone in our table too congratulated us.....yash is taking with his friends....in his table... While I am listening to my table conversation....
Deepu-" see and learn jai..." Pointing the dance me and yash played... To say.. I was only moving according to yash commands... He is the one that danced for us..
Jai-"oh... We don't share that great chemistry to dance without choreography.... As we are not dancers...."
Deepu-" hmm.. Point to be taken.... Yash is a dancer... Are you too ketu..?"before I can open my mouth...
Bhanu-"bharatanatiyam dancer..."
Deepu-" really?"
Me-" I took classes in my childhood... I am not practicing now... Left it before ten years... Is yash a dancer.." Curiosity is killing me....
Deepu-" yes, he was a good dancer... But stopped dancing after his mother passed away.... He learned it because his mother loved it... She is the one thought us all...."
Sesh-" I was in still shock... You know.. Yash stopped dancing even for fun afterward... Even he didn't dance when we use to beg him or push him to do.... He always comes up with an excuse... But he danced with you... Without any nagging of us... You have a magic ..... Thanks ketu..." I smiled sincerely at him...
Jai-" I am truly happy ... He got you... I approve you for him.... The dance was really a feast to me..."I smiled at how he cares for him...
Deepu-" the most interesting part of the dance is that you both smiling... What did yash said you and you both had a smirking competition in the stage....?" I smiled at the thought and also blushed thing about it....
Chand-" ketu... I didn't believed when they said you will start blushing hearing someone's name itself..... Sorry Preeti ... You are right... I believe you now..." I slapped him on the arm ... And he is smirking at me...
Preeti-" it's okay.... At least now you believe me chand...." Said it over dramatically and we all laughed at it...
Nadan-" say us the about what happened there ketu..." I am blushing and that's when yash and his friends planned to join us....
Yash-" about what?"
Nadan-"about the thing that you both were having smirking competition...?" And yash too blushed slightly...
Yash-"oh" and said them that their light sister was not speaking with him... And he asked me to forgive him and asked me to speak with him... To make me speak with him he wants to use some technique...
Bhanu-" what did you done to her ... That made her not to speak with you..?" Asked with full seriousness and a slight anger ness in her voice....
Yash-" no need to get tense.... I didn't made anything to hurt her in my knowledge.... And it is also forgiven by your sister.... No need to dump me in the drainage...." We all laughed.... Where did bhanu got that idea.... Only god knows.... Sharath asked whether is it true.... And she said yes... And we laughed like mad peoples.... And we decided to go and have our foods.... Everyone are going in front of us.. And yash and me are following them together
Yash-" why didn't you speak with me... What did I do wrong?" Oh my god... Help me... What should I say him.. That I was angry because he went with his cousins to the stage leaving me... More over that he and nikkitha made a step in the stage..... Good help me...that's when his cousin sisters gang started coming towards us.... God I asked for help... Not for my anger to rise up...
Nikki-" nice dance yash... Do you remember how we both dance good together ...?" What ... You were a child then... Girl...
Yash-" mmmmm.... Thanks nikki.." Nikki... Nokki... Mokki...monkey..donkey...
Me-" sorry ...I am hungry... You guys carry on.. I will go and have my food.." If I don't go... Then I will surely get peptic ulcer from my stomach burning.....
Yash-" wait ketu... I am too hungry... I will too come..."Said to me... And turned towards them... " thank you girls for the nice performance you given us... Sorry girls....We are hungry... "
Nikki-" it's okay yash"... And turned towards me... " good dance...but not a good match to yash" said with a double meaning to me... While the last part for only to me hear...And gave me a hand..
Me-" thanks" I gave my hand to her... Which she squeezed... Her sharp designed ring gave me pain... And with her nails she dig into my skin... Making me winch and cry in pain....
I think she didn't expected me to show the pain outside.... But really is she stupid.. How would she expect a victim not to cry in pain... When it's someone like me... Who is a princess of her home and little delicate...
Yash took my hand and started inspecting it.... The skin is flushed and contused...
Nikki-" sorry I forgotten i wore a sharp ring today.." Without any sincerity....
Me-" it's okay" she left like that...
Yash -" are you okay?"
Me-" fine... But hungry" he laughed and we went to the buffet and took our foods and went to our tables and took a seat...
I am just playing with my foods... As my hand pains because of the hotness or spice ness of the food......I think yash noticed it
Yash-" are you okay to eat with the hand?" I smiled sheepishly that I am not ..... And he smiled at me...
Varun-" what happened to your hand?" Hearing our conversation, he asked.....As he is seating to next me..... I said him.... He bad mouthed under his breath... As he knows I don't like... And also he don't wanted me to learn those words from him...... And feed me as a good brother as he finished eating and sitting next me.... Didn't I said you... We fight like stupidest idiots but do things for each other whenever other need them to watch their back.....
And we all talked... And the guest wished me and yash a happy life and blessed us to have a happy life.... And all started to move.... And we to left by 12.40a.m
I came home and had bath and changed to a night dress and applied a lotion for the contusion to disappear soon... And lied down in the bed thinking about the dance me and yash had and a smile crept to my cheeks... And I slept with it.....
