KETU

We reached the venue of the engagement.... But waiting outside the venue...Preeti went to say to my mom that we reached.....Bhanu is speaking with someone.... And I am in serious confusion whether wat I am doing is right or not and nervousness that Will I be a good wife to yash or good daughter in law to his family....
The venue is in a famous five star hotel (owned by them said by the driver) and by mom came to my sight... When she saw me she smiled... And I done the same... She is wearing a green pattu sari.. She came and opened the car door and took a seat and said me .. I look gorgeous..... And said bhanu she looks beautiful too... And asked bhanu and the driver to wait outside a minute... And asked bhanu to call Preeti to come...
Mom-"what's in your mind...?"
Me-"nothing mom.... Why?"
Mom-"I am your mom... For nothing .... For these many years... So say me why you look confused and nervous ....?" You see this is how you get caught when you and your mom are like close friends...
Me-"nothing... It's just whether what I am doing is correct or not?"
Mom-"ketu.... Don't worry about it... You know ...me and your dad haven't spoken a word before our marriage.. Right... But you know right?.. that me and your dad loves each other.. Can you disagree that"
Me- " I don't think I can disagree that..." Mom smiled
Mom-" hmmm.... All you have to do is be how you are.... And never forgot this.... Enjoy every moment.... As there won't be a chance to go back.... Love everyone and see their positive.... So you won't hurt anyone.... So you won't regret when you come to know they are not that bad...... "
Me-" hmmm...."
Mom-"ok... Now I go in and come with aarti plates.... And come in after five minutes as the auspicious time starts after five minutes... Ok.." I nodded and she went and Preeti and bhanu came inside the car and spoked for sometime.... And as the time strikes 7.00 the driver took us in to the hotel
As we reached in....I saw my relatives standing there with aarti plate(plate filled with vermillion poweder diluted with water and betal leafs are kept in it and a camphor is placed above the betal... And the camphor is lighted)... Bhanu and Preeti got down first... And I got down with the help of them as my dress is weight... And yonita and anisha had the two ends of the plate and made a three circular motion in clockwise and anticlockwise direction and kept me a tilak( hope yoni kept it small... And yoni even said she kept it small..) and anisha & yonita took it away to pour it in a plant...
As we were going in......my dad, My mama's(cross cousins father), athai's(cross cousins mother), Nadan's & karan's father and mother, my grandmothers.....said me congrats and said I look gorgeous and beautiful.... As I reached to the area were the engagement is going to take place.... I was too happy......The area is in the garden of the hotel.... I always wanted my engagement, wedding, reception... To take place in a open air.... At least one of them... I love it.... It is decorated cosily.... With two stage towards end and opposite to each other... And banquet arrangement in the middle.... And a stage in the middle at the side opposite to the buffet.... The chairs and table are decorated with white colour sheets with blue highlight here and there..... And super lighting effects to highlight the view...the guest have filled the place.. And everyone is draped in a fine clothes...
Mom asked me to sit on the chair which is also cosily decorated and looked majestic... And my mama sarvanan came and put me a nose ring in my nose.... Which is a magnetic nose ring... As I don't want to have a nose ring in near future.. So they adapted the magnetic nose ring for the tradition.... It's is a sliver one and so thin and curved my nose perfectly that ...... Won't be visible unless you see carefully...... I think mom should have bought this... As she knows clearly... That I don't like nose ring to wear....
Then my mom, daddy, athai's and mama's went to other side were yash is sitting... There is a screen between us.... Don't know what they were doing... And me and my sisters are here... Yonita said that she knows that we went out leaving her yesterday..... And I asked who said her and she said none other than the sesh.... Stupid fool...And we left it to a slide for now and said sorry to yoni, anisha and anish ....And they said that they forgive us as a gift for our engagements.....
And we suddenly heard my dad's voice
Dad-" yash... Before I keep tilak... I want to say you.. Something... That if you hurt her.... I may be weak and old..... But I will have my strong and healthy and wise sons and daughters... To make you hurt and regret for what you done to their sister.... Got it.... Heard you already know what they will do you...right...?" Yonita grabbed anisha hand and took her whispering something and on the way grabbed anish hand and said him something too and went to the other side... We all laughed at what my dad said..
Yash-" yes uncle... I am already well informed and threatened by it.... I will try my best to keep her happy sir..." Said the first part with fun and the next part with seriousness that I started blushing...then heard some voice and everyone went silent
Yash-" yes... What do you want to say?"
"we love our sister too much... If you hurt her... I will make sure to hurt you... May be not me.. But my criminal clients... As I am going to be a criminal lawyer... "It's definitely yoni... She wants to be a criminal lawyer...
" I will put you in a room with full of dogs ... They eat you as their food"...must be anisha.. She hate dogs..... Because it frights her when it barks....
" I will make sure to punch and kick you till you die" it must be anish.. He is learning kick boxing...
"Got it...???" All three said at the same time.... We all laughed... I don't know they loved me this much...they are always cute...
Varun-" that's my brother and sisters.... "Â he and Nadan has always brainwashed this three to do this..
Yash-" yes I got it.... Don't worry I will make things only to make her happy " said with severity in his tone.... " and I don't think I have to hear other threats.... So i am already in fear to hurt my bride with all the threats I heard today...."
Dad-" good.... And I am proud of you my children's... " and heard thanks in the backgrounds.... And they came here ...... Bhanu and Preeti ..... Congratulated anish, anisha and yoni..... That their to proud about them.... And I said thanks for their love towards me....
And some people came and kept things before me in the stage in a table... Which had sweets and makeup items and jewellers ......
Uncle ram-" u look like an angel....ketu.... As ancestors say.... Always a daughter look beautifully than their wife.... U surpassed the beauty of Pooja in this dress.... I bless U shine more than the diamonds in your dress...today and every other day and make every one happy around you..." Oh... the stones in the dress are diamonds.... That's why it glitters this much ..than the ordinary stones... Oh god... I have to be careful with the dress... Man...
Me-" thanks uncle.... "
Ram-" no more uncle.... Call me dad..."
Dad-" no sorry it's my rights... No dad .. Na appa(dad in tamil)... No naina(dad in Telugu)" those are the ways I used to call him...
Ram-" ok... No problem... Have those rights with you Krishnan.... She will call me papa... And that's my rights from now..." And we all laughed.... And I looked at my dad... See I have never called anyone even for respect as appa when my friends call their friends dad or any patients.... Addressing as appa.. He knows it.... So he smiled at me as approval
Dad-" fine.... I will allow my daughter to call you papa... On a condition... If you can take care of her as your own daughter like me..." With his brows rised at ram uncle...
Ram-" will do that with pleasure... So now ..ketu... Can u call me papa now onwards...?" With a smile of eagerness for my answer
Me-" sure uncle" every one laughed.. As I said uncle in practice and uncle gave me a pointed look".... Sorry....papa" and uncle smiled at me.... And hugged me..
Papa-" that's my girl.... Now madhu come and put the chunni on my daughter's head..." Some women came towards me who is draped in a designer synthetic sari... With smiling face and took the chunni( a transparent stole which is ornate) and put over my head and fixed it perfectly... The chunni is red in colour too transparent and designed with ivory coloured threads and matched my costume...
Madhu-" u look beautiful and gorgeous.... Welcome to the family..." And smilies genuinely at me... And took her cajole from her left eye and kept behind my ears as a sign to take the jealous eyes and bad eyes evilness to go away from me
Me-" thanks" and smiled back at her...
Madhu..." Now the screen can be removed and the bride and groom can see each other..."
And they started to removed the curtain or screen that was between me and yash.... I was too nervous now... That what will he think about me.... And the people around me to the side of curtain moved and Preeti and bhanu are making me move towards the screen and the screen was removed and I stood still at the space as the screen before me is removed.....
He looked so handsome.... I have never seen someone this handsome... He looked like a anatomical definition for handsomeness... He is tall with 6'4"ft(app)....He is fair... Dashing off ivory sherwani with a red neck and matching white chuddihar pyjama with a red shawl to add the elegance ... It's embroidery is done with beads and stones... Think it is too diamonds because of the shine....... Oh my god.. He is looking mouth watering handsome...... Someone shaked hands before us And heard
Preeti-" come back to the earth....ketu... " and I blushed at the statement and saw yash smirking at me...
Varun-" stop... Eyeing my sister yash...." And everyone laughed at this and we were getting down from the stage...as they need to change and arrange for something
Yash-" no... I am not"
"Then what is it?" Some girl wearing a designer pink saree and looked beautiful...asked yash showing a photo to him....
Yash-"deepali.... " she gave him a challenging look" fine... Let us deal with it... No sharing of that pic with others..."
Deepali-" sorry handsome.... I am sharing that with someone....only one okay?"
Yash-" say me who... ?"
Deepali-"sorry secret.."
Deepali-" congrats ketu ..... You look gorgeous girl.... I am again sorry for breaking your phone... I will get you another one ..... "Oh see when I went to parlour... In the parking lot... So I accepted it... Anyhow I planned on changing my phone next month...
Me-" thanks...no problem... No need for you to buy me a phone... As it's also my fault that I didn't see you coming towards me..." And we both gave a smile of understanding to drop the conversation
Sesh-" I said you right ..... I have a lovely cousin... That is deepali... Daughter of madhubala/madhu aunty.... And this is her husband jaisukh...we call him jai...and he is our neighbour and friend and theirs is love marriage...".....
Jai-" congrats ketu... Nice to meet you... You look gorgeous... And I stop here... Before my wife and your husband..... Break my bones... And for your information she is my sister and that's all...." Said the last part seeing them.. And we all laughed at him....
Yash-" that's good ...... But I don't want have another threat to hear from her brother...."we all laughed at this...
Jai-" you done to me right... When I married deepu....now it's my turn.... Try to hurt my sis... Best friend or whatever.... I will damage you and kill you without hesitation and second thought" and we laughed at it... Neha aunty came towards us... And hugged me....
Neha-" Thanks for the gift ketu...."

Preeti-" we said yash would skip his beat when he see ketu......And she said that it's not that easy... Because many have tried to get that effect from yash.... But no one succeeded... many were her customer too... So..if he does she said thats the gift ketu can get to give her for her work.."
Neha-" right...and see as I got a great gift ... I am too happy.... Yash can you describe your fiancée over here... And how beautiful is she ...that made you skip your beat...?" And that's...when I got nervous

And everyone compled him to describe about me...and I was too much nervous... That what will he say ..... And saw him staring at me... And he sighed and he said ok after repeated requisition And looked at my eyes... And I can't see his eyes more...as my cheeks got heated.... And I know I am blushing intensely..
Yash-" when u came into my view... U looked stunning with the dress fitting you perfectly and with your long hair..... Which is curled in the bottom and left in floating as a curtain to hide your innocent blushing face... And your eyes that sparked with admiration ......made me skip my beat "I think I am blushing crazily.... And he too blushed slightly...
Jai-"man you are whipped...." And got a mash from yash...
Deepali-"now... Ketu... Say how you describe about yash?" No..... God no... Help me..." Come on say us ketu...."
Me-"you have your husband to sight..... Don't sight mine..."said and blushed...
Deepu-" fine.... Don't say......... He is my brother for god's sake...." And we all laughed at her...and she too smiled...sesh hifi me...
Sesh-" know at least say us... ?"

Me-"no.... He is smirking at me.... And I am blushing crazily with embarrassment that everyone who we're smiling looking at me crazily.... Oh god.... Deepu-" anatomical specimen..." And she started laughing again...
Sesh-" handsomeness definition "and everyone started laughing again......
Nadan-" ok stop..... Teasing my sister....."my warrior
Dad-" come lets get you two up to the stage....." And we made to the stage with our brothers and cousins to the stage.... And my parents... And ram uncle in the stage.....
When we went up....our parents said us to exchange the rings.... Yash took the ring from uncle ram and was about to take my hand
Varun-" haha.... It's not that easy man..... Propose to my sister..."
Nadan, varun,Gokul,Preeti,bhanu-" get down in your knees to have our sister...." Then sesh, deepu, jai even joined them...... Then some guests too even supported them... And again yash starred at me.....I think this time there is something in his eyes....I don't know what it is...... But it made me to not take my eyes from his.... And in the background everyone are shouting to get down on your knees yash .... But I zoomed out of that .... Just watched yash eyes....suddenly he dropped into his knees... Without breaking the eye contact....
Yash-" ketu.... I have never seen girl..... This gorgeous .... U made me skip my heart when I saw you.... But your beautiful genuine smile is making me do anything and everything for you.... I can't promise you I will give you all the happiness in the world......But I will try my level best to keep you happy..... And never seen a girl that likes everyone.... And never had any girls brother and sister to threat me for their sister at least one or two threats from someone elder than me..... But never from someone..... Too younger than me...... But I actually admired it that you have everyone to just ..like you..... And how much they care for you......Will you give me the right to take care of you and allow me to see you smile everyday... Ketu-" hmmm... Will marry you .... Don't worry " oh god no.... You gave the sound in wrong place.....everyone started laughing... Even yash..."sorry... I didn't mean to embarrass you" whispered to yash... He looked at me and smiled....and took my hands... And put me the ring....
Bhanu-"come on it's your turn ketu..."
Ketu-" no.... I can't propose him...!!"whispered to bhanu...
Bhanu-" no...." And laughed..." Just put the ring on his finger..."oh... What happened to me... Today ..god...I turned to see yash standing and Smirking at me.....Think he heard it ....thank god at least not others....took the ring from my dad...and yash showed me his hand and I put the ring on his finger... With my finger shaking crazily.. With the nervousness.... And I am also blushing stupidly.....
And we had guests coming to us and giving gifts... And papa introduced his relatives and guest to me... And my dad introduced mine to yash... Seriously speaking... I don't remember anybody of them.... And by 10 we got down and had our dinner... We ate.... And we were speaking something.... The DJ is blasting the music... And some were dancing in the stage in the middle.... And some were eating....and we were eating our ice cream.... Actually only me... Everyone finished their ice cream.... As a slow eater I am I taking my own time to eat.......we are sitting like this...me and to my left is yash, then deepu...then Preeti, then Nadan,then Gokul,then bhanu,then varun then sesh and then jai.... We girls are planning on hitting the dance floor
And that's when a group of young ladies of our age came up...... They all looked good ...... But they are literally shoving themselves at yash..... And giving me a look.... That said like I am a cheap one....
" yash.... How am I looking ?... " a girl that looked too beautiful in the group... Seriously..... When I am sitting next to him.... Great... Yash just looked at me... Why is he looking at me? ...then he looked at deepu for help..
Deepu- " you look good harshika..." With no emotion in it...

Me-"speaking of truth, I think she is looking beautiful and gorgeous for someone to marry..... And that makes jai over here to not ripe his eyes from her... Bad luck for others that ... She is taken.... Unlike you.... Which makes others to see you .... I hope...if she is not taken ..... You are no match to her...." And everyone looked at me... Like I have done some stupid thing and also admiring me.... And deepu gave me a thanks look and the girls looked stunned and the harshika has a angry look...great...ketu...
Harshika-" what... Do you know who I am?... Don't speak something rubbish in jealous... That even with all extravagant clothes you still look ugly... Bitch.."That's it I have never shown this much anger on somebody.... Because nooner have used b word before me.. And she Said the word directing me..... I saw yash and others getting irritated too... But I gave them the look I can deal with her... And I don't want to show her I am weak...they went silent and I started laughing....
Harshika-" why are you laughing ?" Asked in anger...

Me-" you know.... I have everyone over here to fight for me... Which is also more in number than yours...... And I have the handsome man over here with me ..... And he happens to be my fiancé .... And not yours.....and so, for starters with no brain peoples... Don't try even more .... He won't see you.....so, Shove on others ... Who can see you....." And I stood up and everyone got up... Controlling the laugh that is threatens to come out...." Can you move girls... We are on our way to have our dance... "
And we left them and we brushed into a laughing fit..... And everyone said me I rocked there... And my brother and cousins said... Were That ketu...over there .....or some other girl?...... And we all laughed at that....
Harshika is a girl that studied with yash, deepu, jai...... She always tried for yash... As like others ...she too can't have him... She is not a big problem... She slept around in the high school And once slept with this douche bag.... When he was too drunk... That he can't move for a day because of the headache.... Pointing jai....So Deepu said that's why she is speechless before her....
And we girls went to dance floor... While guys went to get drinks......And actually I didn't danced as I was tired and wearing heels .... after five minutes I came out of the dance stage.... As We all were tried , everyone followed me within next ten minutes and we all seated ...as no one had strength to dance... And learned that yash,jai,deepu are classmates... And bestfriends from their childhood days.... Deepu loved jai... And he is her first crush and first love and for him too... And they had drama's in their lives... One of that is Harshika..... we started speaking About something or anything.... As the time passed.....by 11:45p.m everyone went.... And we went to our houses.... And when I went home... I changed to a night dress and kept the ornament and the dress in the cupboard and locked it and slept as soon as I hit the bed.....
