Ethanâs gaze turned cold as he cast a chilly glance at Bruce before shifting his attention back to Alice. Seeing her slightly furrowed brows, it was clear that she was becoming impatient. Bruce is truly like a pesky fly: heâs noisy, annoying, and disgusting. Also, he canât understand plain words either.
Just then, his gaze landed on Aliceâs slightly pursed red lips, and his eyes darkened for a moment. Suddenly, he leaned closer to her and kissed her lightly on the lips. He had been wanting to do this for a long time and finally had the chance to do so, even if it was just a gentle kiss.
Aliceâs eyes widened abruptly as she stared at him, her astonishment evident and unmasked. Did he just kiss me?

Upon seeing his wifeâs anger, Ethan decided to appease her first. âAre you angry? Why donât I do something to make you feel better?â
âWhat do you have in mind?â With her mood not being the best at the moment, her eyebrows instinctively arched when she heard that.
âSince the plane has just taken off and isnât too high above the ground yet, why donât we throw him out?â Although his tone was gentle and his expression seemed affectionate, the words he spoke were far from tender.
At this moment, Bruceâs face turned ugly. He thought his remark would upset both Ethan and Alice, but he didnât expect Ethan to coax his wife instead of getting angry at her.

âThatâs a good idea. Letâs go with what youâve suggested.â He nodded earnestly and beckoned to one of the flight attendants.
âWhat can I do for you, Mr. Knight?â The flight attendant recognized Ethan and was quite familiar with him.
âThis gentleman feels that the airplane cabin is too stuffy and wants to go out for some fresh air. Letâs fulfill his wish and tie him to the landing gear,â he instructed the flight attendant based on Aliceâs earlier suggestion.
After being stunned for a moment, the flight attendant politely smiled and replied, âAlright.â
Alice had merely spoken without much thought. She only wanted to vent her frustration, so she didnât expect Ethan to actually convey her words to the flight attendant, and she certainly didnât anticipate the flight attendant agreeing to it.
Initially, Bruce hadnât taken Ethan and Aliceâs words seriously at all. However, when he saw the seriousness with which Ethan instructed the flight attendant and the flight attendantâs immediate compliance without hesitation, his complexion instantly turned unpleasant. Nonetheless, he still believed that Ethan was just trying to scare him. However, the next moment, the flight attendant turned directly to him, dropping the friendly expression she had while facing Ethan. She said sternly, âThis way, sir.â
âWhat? What do you mean? Iâm a VIP too! What do you want to do to me?â He looked at the flight attendant with horror in his eyes. Are they being serious?
âSince youâre our customer, weâre obliged to fulfill your request,â the flight attendant replied calmly without a trace of an oddity in her tone.
