Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Living Together

Seeing Xiao Gang walking away, Yang Rong looked to Bai Xiaochun with a wide smile on her face, “Hey, Xiaochun, did you hear that? The student union wouldn’t check up on us anymore. In other words, we finally don’t have to go to the evening self-study anymore.”

The university’s evening self-study was purely a self-study session. There were no professors present at all.

Of course, there were people who took the self-study seriously. Nevertheless, the majority of the people would be playing with their phones or chat with others to pass the time.

While Chu Tian wasn’t certain if Bai Xiaochun actually bothered to study earnestly in the evening self-study, he knew that Yang Rong was someone who never studied.

After all, she was his deskmate. Chu Tian knew very well that Yang Rong would either be on her computer watching dramas or be on her phone watching videos or playing games during the evening self-study.

Furthermore, she was not the only one. Practically everyone in their evening self-study class would be doing the same thing as her.

Seeing Yang Rong’s joyful expression, Bai Xiaochun started smiling too, “If we don’t have to take the evening self-study, that’s pretty good too.”

“That’s not all,” Yang Rong teased, “You can stay up and not return to the dorm all night long too. Tsk.”

As Yang Rong spoke, she clicked her tongue and raised her eyebrow at Bai Xiaochun.

Seeing that, Bai Xiaochun’s face turned slightly red, “Don’t be stupid. We’ve already paid for the dorm fees. If we don’t live in the dorm, where are we going to live?”

“Ehhh… you still want to live in the dorm?” Yang Rong dragged her voice, “Okay then. In that case, hopefully we’ll run across each other again in the future. Deskmate, let’s go. Follow me, we’re going to pack up my stuff.”

“Hey! What nonsense are you talking about?” Bai Xiaochun suddenly laughed and grabbed Yang Rong’s hand.

“I’m going to my deskmate’s place,” said Yang Rong in a meaningful manner, “I’ve had enough of the days without AC. I’m going over to his place tonight.”

“Hey! You… aren’t you afraid of your boyfriend finding out?”

“Nope, not at all,” said Yang Rong, “If he dares voice any complaint, I’m dumping him. Aiyah, enough with that.”

As she spoke, Yang Rong laughed, “So, are you really planning to continue living in the dorms? With how hot it has been these days, we couldn’t get a proper sleep all night long. Besides, Chu Tian is your boyfriend. Your boyfriend has an apartment outside so why are you still foolishly living in the dorms? Also, there’s no need to be afraid. I’m going to be with you. If he dares to do anything to you, the two of us can gang up on him and give him a beating.”

“You should move over,” laughed Chu Tian, “You don’t have to move all your stuff. Just pack up a couple changes of clothes. The two of you can continue living in the school dorms too. At noon, you can return to take your break in your dorm room since there’s not enough time for a round trip to my place.”

“Also, there’s actually an empty room in my place. A couple used to live in that room. They were students in our university too. The room is also furnished with an AC, a full-sized bed, a wardrobe and a little vanity table. If you clean up that room a bit, it’ll be more than enough for the two of you. Lastly, there’s a fridge, a washing machine and a water heater at my place. It’s much more comfortable and convenient compared to living in the dorms.”

Seemingly persuaded by Chu Tian, Bai Xiaochun pondered for a moment before biting her lip. She smiled, “Then… okay, I’ll move over too. But, I’m going to sleep in the same room as Rongrong.”

“No problem,” laughed Chu Tian, “My bedroom’s not far. If there’s anything, just knock on it. I’ll always be open for you.”

“Go to hell,” Bai Xiaochun laughed as she hammered Chu Tian with her fists, “Who wants to find you?”

“Well then, let’s get going,” Smiling, Chu Tian wiped away the sweat on his face, “I’ll help you two carry your stuff.”

7PM!

Inside the Haicheng University of Medicine’s Campus. Chu Tian was holding a suitcase in either hand as he led Bai Xiaochun and Yang Rong out of the university’s entrance.

The two of them did not bring along a lot of stuff with them. They only packed up a couple changes of clothes, some daily necessities and their makeup. They’ve left all their blankets and pillows in the dorm. After all, they will be returning to their dorm room to take their break in the afternoon.

After they’ve finished unpacking everything, it was approaching 10PM.

As Chu Tian does not use the other bedroom, he had not bothered cleaning up the room. The three of them took some time to clean up the room and also went out to purchase a new set of bedding, pillows and blankets. After they finished all of that, it was already late into the night.

“Gawd, I love this room!”

Yang Rong immediately spread herself on the full-sized bed after they finished putting up the new bedding, pillows and blankets. “There’s AC, a fridge, a washer and a not-so-old TV. Most importantly, there’s a wardrobe. This is happiness. This is bliss. Finally, I don’t have to squeeze myself in that tiny dorm with all those people.”

Seeing that Bai Xiaochun also had a joyous look on her face, Chu Tian laughed, “Enough with all that. The two of you must be tired now, no? Go and wash up. We still have class tomorrow. Oh, make sure to wake up earlier. Getting to class is not that convenient and fast when you’re living outside the university. You’ll have to wake up roughly half an hour earlier.”

“Are you going to write stuff?” asked Bai Xiaochun.

“Mn. I got some things to do,” said Chu Tian, “Don’t worry about me. I’ll close my door. Go and wash up, I guarantee that I will not peep.”

“Hey deskmate,” Yang Rong got up from the bed. With a smile on her face, “Say, how much rent should I pay you?”

Rent?

Black lines rolled down Chu Tian’s face, “Deskmate, you’re looking down on me by asking that question, no? You’re living together with my girlfriend. How could I possibly take your rent? Are you trying to make me look bad in front of my girlfriend?”

Seeing Chu Tian’s serious look, Yang Rong laughed out loud, “You’re the best. I was not wrong to freeload this boyfriend.”

“Enough with that, go get some rest.”

Smiling, Chu Tian kissed Bai Xiaochun. Then, he returned to his bedroom.
