Chapter 62: Chapter 62: New Freeloading Technique

After an unknown period of time, after hearing a series of ‘didi’ sounds, Chu Tian, on the sofa, opened his eyes.

Bai Xiaochun and Yang Rong took over his bed to take naps after they finished showering. Because of that, Chu Tian was forced to make do with the sofa.

He picked up his phone and saw that it was already three in the afternoon. Rubbing his eyes, Chu Tian got up to sit on the sofa.

It was a message from Li Sisi.

Li Sisi: “Young master, the talks about your ‘White White Milk Tea Shop’ is settled.”

Li Sisi: “They’ve come to a price.”

Li Sisi: “According to the current market price, the breakfast shop will at most be able to sell for 8 to 8.5 million. But, it is true that they’re not planning to sell their shop.”

Li Sisi: “Thus, I’ve decided to raise the price by 500 thousand. They agreed to sell their shop to us if we can offer up 9 million RMB.”

Li Sisi: “Muah, muah, muah… I’ll kiss you to death!”

Chu Tian: “Haha. Big sis, I wouldn’t bother you with work then. I just woke up, I’ll go wash my face.”

Li Sisi: “Oh? You’re kidding. You’ve managed to sleep with darling already?”

Chu Tian: “I wish. I’ve slept on the couch. She took over my bed with my deskmate. Well then, I’ll go and wash my face now.”

With a smile on his face, Chu Tian finished his conversation with Li Sisi. Then, he got up and went to wash up.

When Chu Tian returned from washing his face, he just so happened to see his bedroom door slowly opening.

Seeing Bai Xiaochun barefooted, wearing his white t-shirt and her long black hair in a mess, Chu Tian couldn’t help but smile, “You woke up?”

“Mmm,” Bai Xiaochun smiled. She opened her arms to do a stretch.

“What’s this, my deskmate is still asleep?”

Seeing Bai Xiaochun closing the door to his room, Chu Tian stepped forward and kissed her on the lips.

“She’s awake,” Smiling, Bai Xiaochun hammered Chu Tian with her fist, “I came out to get our clothes.”

“I’ll get them for you,” said Chu Tian, “The balcony windows are open. There’s generally a layer of dust on the ground. You’re not wearing shoes, so it’s best to not make your feetsies dirty.”

Chu Tian soon returned with the two girls’ dried clothes. Receiving the clothes, Bai Xiaochun immediately turned around, returned to the bedroom and closed the door.

Roughly ten minutes later. When the bedroom door was opened again, Bai Xiaochun and Yang Rong had changed back to their clothes. Furthermore, they’ve both tied their hair up.

“That was an extremely comfortable nap.”

Yang Rong was extremely pleased, “Oh how I cherished the memories of having an AC.”

Chu Tian asked curiously, “Why’s that? Is there no AC in your dorm?”

“Huh? Have you ever seen the AC’s external units outside our dorm?”

“Eh…” Chu Tian was left speechless, “Damn, I’ve always thought your dorm has AC. With how hot the weather is, how are you supposed to sleep at night?”

“Electric fan, how else?”

Yang Rong sat down next to Chu Tian and casually picked up his pared apple. She bit into it and said, “We even have to buy our own fans. While the fan’s enough during the warm nights, when it’s on those extremely hot nights, even the fan’s not enough to let us sleep comfortably. We’ll have to take multiple cold showers at night. Damn crappy school! So annoying! Why can’t they just spend some money to install AC in the dorms?”

Hearing Yang Rong’s grudge-filled complaint, Chu Tian nodded his head, “Indeed, it’ll be quite uncomfortable. How about this, when it’s extremely hot at night, you two can come sleep at my place. If you’re unable to sleep properly, how are you supposed to rest up at night?”

“The dorm does nightly inspection,” said Bai Xiaochun, “The student union is extremely tyrannic. If they discover that someone is missing, the entire class’s quantitative score will be deducted.”

“Tsk, they’re only bullying us freshmen and sophomores,” complained Yang Rong, “Those juniors and seniors are able to skip the evening self-study whenever they want. If they wanted to be out all night, they could do that too. No one bothered to pay attention to them.”

“You’ll have to endure it till you’re a junior first.”

As Bai Xiaochun spoke, she turned to Chu Tian, “Hey, Chu Tian, are you going to play basketball later?”

“I’m actually thinking about that,” said Chu Tian, “Xiao Gang pinged me to play basketball in our group chat multiple times already. Are the two of you free later?”

“Yeah, we’re free,” said Bai Xiaochun with a beaming smile, “It’s been a long time since I last saw you play basketball. I’ll go and watch later.”

“I’m coming too,” said Yang Rong with a smile, “I’ll accompany Lil Bai and freeload on her boyfriend. It’s truly miserable to be single in school.”

Chu Tian laughed, “I’ve heard of people freeloading on food and drinks but it’s my first time hearing someone say freeloading on another person’s boyfriend. Deskmate, you’ve founded a new sort of freeloading technique.”

“Can’t help it,” Yang Rong said in a helpless manner, “My boyfriend’s not here so I can only freeload on someone else’s boyfriend.”
